Kincaid's - St. Paul Ratings and Reviews
We went to Kincaid’s with two friends, it was one of their birthday. We shared a generous appetizer of calamari. All had a cocktail, and each had a large portion entree that was all very good. I had braised beef short ribs with mashed potatoes and carrots. which were great! The rest had scallops, chicken breast, and I think salmon - and all had great sides. The birthday girl got a free piece of cake, we all shared.
All the food was great, and the service was great, too! A $50 coupon I had meant as a whole table, we got out of there for around $150, a very good value! I definitely recommend Kincaid’s highly!
We went to this restaurant to celebrate New Year’s Eve We had a reservation for 845. After our appetizer order was in, we were told that we needed to move things along because the kitchen was closing at 10 pm. We were rushed through the meal. The waiter spilled red wine on us in an attempt to clear the plates quickly, I got negative feedback for requesting a second cup of coffee. This is not acceptable for an iconic twin cities restaurant.
New Years Eve, menu was not the complete menu as shown on their website...but I may have been expecting too much. Food was excellent, best Lobster Tail ever, and the Prime Rib is always great. 2 hour voucher in Lawson ramp was not adequate....$4 additional to park. In the future, I'd go to the Bloomington location. But overall, a very nice evening.
We had Christmas dinner here for the family. Prices were pretty high compared with a similar Christmas menu at Ruth’s Chris in Minneapolis where we typically go. Sevice was slow even though restaurant was not busy. Also the restaurant screwed up our gift card / Regular Cc payment and we ended up overpaying by $200 due to the way they ran the cards. Still waiting to get reimbursed. Not a great experience unfortunately but the wine was awesome.
We celebrated Christmas Eve there and had a great time. It was very busy as you might imagine so our waiter was challenged to keep up with us, but he did a fine job given the circumstances. The food is always outstanding. One of our favorite places to go for a special occasion.
A Birthday Celebration. Food was very good, server forgot to return the Take-Home bag. I had to hunt that down. Friendly service. Everyone greeted as you walked through the restaurant. I didn’t say anything, however I was overcharged on the Fillet we ordered. The Menu said a 7oz Fillet was $39, yet we were charged $42 for the Fillet. Not a big deal, but if they change the Menu Pricing, they should also update the Price on the Menu.
Overall, a good experience.
Went here for Office Christmas lunch. Our server Robyn Y. was very pleasant and knew the menu well. Her suggestions were well suited to our expressed taste. She was also unfailingly timely with beverage refills and we never felt pressured, even though the place was busy (which is good).
