Kincaid's - St. Paul
Book your next event with us
We have gone to Kincaid's for Mother's Day, Birthdays, and anniversaries and been very pleased with the good and the service. Yesterday was our anniversary and we were treated very well. Our dessert was even "on the house". Thank you! We will be back!
My husband loved his steak. I had
The meatloaf and all I could taste were the peppers in it. Not good
Don’t go here on a Sunday if you want something from the menu or are t least inform us before we order that you are out! My husband had the steelhead which was excellent Per his report but initially wanted the sea bass which was sold out! love salmon so that’s what I ordered- but it was fishy- the accompanying vegetables had no flavor- I was offered a second dish and hesitated because we had plans at the Excel. I was assured that it would be on a fast track- I subsequently waited- and my meal came after everyone else’s was finished. The scallops were good, the accompanying dish was very heavy although tasty. In the past the meals were acceptable but honestly pricey for the value.i was disappointed this time - not sure if we will be back. Maybe for apps in the bar. The Server kept apologizing for the problems, but despite the problems no adjustments to the bill were made. Really disappointed overall in the food and service.
Amazing service! Easiest place to talk and be able to hear each other. Attentive to allergies and the food was very good.
Slow service with no explanation. Had a play to catch and nearly missed it.
Everything was wonderful until the coffee. The coffee was old and cold- room temperature and bitter.
We are always 100% satisfied with our dining at Kincaid’s. A very relaxing quiet place to converse. And our waitress was so accommodating especially with our 16 yr old grand daughter.
Were seated promptly, served efficiently, food was very good, and they got us out on time for our concert even though the place was packed.
Waiter Diego was Excellent.😊👍
I went with a friend to Kincaid's on Thanksgiving afternoon because we were both on our own, without family in town. The excellent menu was enhanced with a traditional turkey dinner, which we both enjoyed. We are both fond of Kincaid's key lime pie, and we both had that.
Our menu choices may have lacked adventure but both food and service were excellent. The room is acoustically bright, so it is a bit noisy.
Two us dined here on Thanksgiving. We had a very enjoybable time and would highly recommend it. Ordered the turkey dinner and it was delicious! The turkey was full of flavor and very moist and it was a good sized portion of 9 ounces. The potatoes and stuffing had lots of flavor. We love Kincaids and know that they consistently deliver a good quality of food. Our server Dan took good care of us. We will definitely be back!
Thanksgiving with family
We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving Dinner at Kincaid’s. It was better than celebrating at home. No cooking or clean up! Love it! Thank you Kincaid’s!
Food was bad. No care taken in prep. Dessert even was inedible. Too bad. Was good. Nobody there.
Decent food and good cocktails. Table we had was right next to bus station. Service was good but not 100$ meal level. Better off saving the money and getting food at some hole in the wall since the service and ambience wasn’t special for the cost.
Service was great! Salmon and sea bass entrees were done perfectly. I had good past experiences but this one surpasses those.
Celebrating a birthday
Great ambiance! Lovely food. Service was a little irregular. Took quite a while for the waitress to come and take our order.
It was amazing
I have dinner at Kincaids after every performance, I attend, at the Ordway. I look forward to dinner each time.
The dinner is excellent, service is excellent. I have not suffered through other customers on phones or being loud.
My only issue is with the dessert menu. I would so enjoy a yummy cake, fresh fruit and cream anything creative.
My wife and I visited Kincaid's for our anniversary and had a lovely time. Good seating, great service and amazing food. We really had a wonderful and memorable anniversary dinner and will certainly consider Kincaid's for our next celebratory dining experience!!
We ordered the filet and it was excellent, very tender. We also ordered the brie appetizer which was very good. The restaurant was busy and it did take awhile to get our order. That would be my only complaint. The waitress asked us if we had tickets to something and we told her yes. She promised to get us out of there in time. We finally finished with about 15 minutes to get to the Ordway which was enough but not much time to spare.
Great location for Ordway performances. Always like to order the fish specials. They split our entree for us as we were sharing. Wanted to have a drink in the bar beforehand and it was a zoo that evening.
food was superb. despite extremely busy evening, the service was also superb. most pleasant was that we could actually enjoy a conversation without shouting since layout diminished noise level!
Excellent place to dine for business or pleasure. Wonderful atmosphere and incredible food.
Until yesterday, every experience at Kinkaid's has been positive. Food, service not quality expected.
Email promotion not honored because "internet was down", even though the printed promotion was presented.
Great service and food! One of the best places in town for a business lunch!
Waitress was good, bus boy attentive but it took way to long for the food tho come and it was not busy.
Great food and wonderful service but the waitress just tried too hard. By that I mean the attempt at sensual soft talk was actually annoying. Steak was excellent but the price was high end for the plate in my opinion. Add the lobster tail which was on the small side odor almost the same money as the plate and the value wasn’t there
Took our niece to Kincaid’s St. Paul for her 21 st birthday. I ordered the large cut prime rib. My wife had Corvina and niece had Dijon chicken. Their food was very good but my meal was not as satisfying to say the least. I remarked that my meat didn’t seem as big as other king cuts I have had in the past. I was billed for the larger cut but no way it could have been. The meat was well done, I ordered it between medium and med well, it was definitely well done, my wife even remarked that it didn’t look very big nor appealing.i didn’t want to send it back since we were on a time constraint and having my niece there for her first visit opted to eat what I had. This was a mistake on my part but so be it.
The other two meals were very good as was the appetizer and the desert. Service was also very good.
Thank You Bill Wallace
Anniversary. Server was extremely attentive.
A very enjoyable experience. Kincaid’s made it a special evening.
It was our wedding anniversary. She had the tomahawk pork chop; I had the pan-seared scallops. The we’re both outstanding. For dessert our waitress treated us to a creme brûlée. It was a wonderful evening!
Great food, excellent service. We can always count on a great meal.
Kincaid's is one of the shrinking few restaurants in the rwin cities where you can actually converse with your guest. I choose it for that reason as well as the fact that their menu is extensive and delicious. The wine list is decent too.
I believe they have the best prime rib in town. Yum.
After we made our bottle of wine selection, our waiter suggested a special bottle that they had from a previous event. The event cost was quite a bit more than what we originally but gave it to us as a special. The food was amazing and the evening was every bit worth it. We will be back again for sure
A wonderful evening for our large table of 12. Much thanks to all of Kincaids for making an enjoyable evening for our party, thanks!
All was as it should be ~ perfect!
Always an inviting space and welcoming service! Truly appreciate the quality of attention to details and customer enjoyment.
