Kincaid's - St. Paul
Great food and good service, made our special occasion even more special.
The service was excellent, the drinks were good, the salad was fine but the steak and mash potatoes were sub par.
I chose the New York strip and found it to be a bit hard to chew. It reminded me of something I might get at an Outback Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse type restaurant.
The mash potatoes were very bland.
Food was great and our server (Rick) was fantastic! I asked him how he recommended the rack of lamb and he took the time to explain what the restaurants medium rare was. He said that the medium rare plus maybe better, it was perfect. The hostess on the other hand was rude, I mentioned that we had reserved a table for 7:45, she made us wait another 15-20 minutes to be seated. What is the point of a reservation (wasn't that busy) if we can't be seated near our reservation time?
Our celebration for eight guests could not have been better. Our food and the server Laura were superb! Kincaid’s never disappoints.
Prime rib and lobster bisque were wonderful as usual. The service was attentive and on point.
I ordered 12 oz New York steak once they don’t serve ribeyes. I ordered it charred black raw on inside known as Pittsburgh style or black and blue. Waiter understood completely. We got it takeout. Got it back to my hotel room and steak Was grilled medium rare. Not charred. Not Pittsburgh style or black and blue. Outside brown. Inside pinkish not red. They promised what I ordered but did not serve it. Incompetent. Will never go back.
Went to the Final Four and wanted a great restaurant in St. Paul. Was in walking distance from our hotel. Great bar--both wine and decor and ambience. Food was outstanding. Dessert was excellent. Would go back again.
The steak was fabulous. Also my husband had the lamb chops and they were good. Expensive but worth it.
Awesome! Food was great and service was excellent. We went before a show and they were very conscience of our time. A must to go back and eat there again.
Our meal was fantastic! Rick was our server-he’s always amazing. Thank you
We had dinner last night to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Rick was our server, and with his customer service and knowledge of food and drink pairings, he helps take the dining experience to the next level. He gets to know his customers and has not steered us wrong with his recommendations. Thank you, Rick, for going above and beyond last night to make the birthday celebration special! We appreciate all that you did to help make our evening wonderful, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Had a great meal with wonderful service and ambiance.
Quiet, so we could talk.
Calamari and artichoke dip appetizers, and fish selections were all very good.
Great before-concert dining establishment!
Food and service were excellent! I’ll definitely go back.
Coffee was not hot. One entree was overcooked and one was undercooked.
It was so great to celebrate my friends birthday before the Boyz II Men concert. I know my friend appreciated the card from Kincaid’s with the complimentary appetizer. Thank you again for the excellent service.
I dont like writing a negative review, but this was my third trip to Kincaids for dinner and I have been consistently unimpressed.
The place was packed, so the long wait for water is perhaps understandable. But when the cocktails eventually showed up, my glass clearly had not been fully washed. Fingerprints all over and slightly sticky.
Waiter did best he could, I think.
Food was decent, but should have been better for the price.
I would recommend Kincaids. The steaks were cooked to perfection and everything was delicious. The server was knowledgeable about the wine options.
Attentive Staff and Delicious food all served in a quiet, elegant space.
Rick did an outstanding job!! Thx! The food was perfect and we enjoyed a great bottle of wine at exceptional value.
Delicious food and exceptional service with Rick, which will be our second time with him. We will be back and have requested him to be our regular server.
Don't order the pork chop, other wise everything was pretty good.
Outstanding service & food. Beautiful presentation & perfect size portions.
Mariah, our server, was amazing! Even the assistant, Jake, was great! Can't wait to go back for the tender porterhouse!
Service was top notch. Food was excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly. Will be back!!
I returned to the restaurant for a business lunch and was not disappointed. The service was excellent and supportive of the business conversation. The food was excellent. The menu is properly priced.
We took our grandchildren to Kincade’s or a special lunch. It was my first time at this restaurant but the kids had eaten here several times.
The food was average tasting for the price. I really expected a lot better.
We had friends from San Francisco in town and we wanted to get a good but relaxing meal before the Wild game. All 4 of us had a hard time finding something we wanted on either the bar menu or the dinner menu. The bar menu was very limited for meal type food. We all wanted something more substantial than brie/bread but not a huge meal. We did ask the waitress if they had a fish/chips and she said they did but it was not on the menu.
Always good service and food. We enjoyed the brie appetizer and the salmon entree' prepared just right so it was moist and tasty. Wine with the meal and a slice of pie for dessert capped our meal.
Great waiter and awesome meal....we got the prime rib and lobster and it was excellent....definitely recommend it!
The overall appearance of the restaurant was nice but the service was not good. I had to ask for them to serve us the wine we order. Vegetables were cold and tough.
Chef Trevor knows what he’s doing. We had a great evening!
We were visiting from Florida and loved the food so much that we ate there two nights in a row!
Our waiters were great, particularly dealing with our two teenage grandsons. They catered to their every need. The food was ok, except the spices on the prime rib were too strong and seemed off in flavor--probably won't order that again. The boys enjoyed their steaks and a friend enjoyed the short ribs.
Stopped in for some beverages & nibbles before a Wild game. Was very pleased to find it was happy hour as well!! Drinks were delicious...had an elderflower greyhound & raspberry margarita. We enjoyed Crab & Artichoke Dip that was amazing and also the Sweet Potato Fries with pulled pork & Brie.....such a wonderful mix of flavors!! The burger was great as well. So much quality food & a very small price. Super service as well. We will certainly return!!!
Place has gone downhill. Our service was awful, 3 of 4 steaks were not cooked as directed. My points didn’t get applied to my rewards account. I ate here the night I got engaged 7 years ago, never thought i would post a review like this. I used to love this place.
Slow service. Did not offer us voucher for Parking which cost $10. Found out later that they should have offered us voucher.
What a wonderful place for dinner with my husband. Great night!!!
Ahi tuna was spectacular!
Food was delicious, and not too expensive. Ordered the tomahawk chop- phenomenal! The crab and artichoke dip was amazing. Great place to get delicious food. Best meal out I've ever had.
