We went for Restaurant Week and very much enjoyed the menu selection. The server was very attentive and jovial. The Brie was amazing! The only downside is sitting next to the water fountain is very loud and a bit annoying.
There were 7 of us for brunch. Booked ahead and restaurant wasn't busy, however service was incredibly slow. We ordered a variety of menu items and all were underwhelming. 3 orders of Chilaquiles, and each of them were dry and lacking flavor. The Prime Rib Hash was more like stew. The Bloody Mary's were good. We would go back to the bar for happy hour, but will not be back for brunch.
Brilliant food and service from LJ , server for the past thirty years of our patronage. We love Kincaid’s steaks and seafood.
Dined on Feb 16th, 2018 with my wife. My wife and I first ordered a cocktail and an appetizer. The appetizer was very good but the cocktails were very poor. I had two drinks gin/tonic. the first had, what seemed like, no gin. The second was so strong I could not enjoy it but put up with it. My wife ordered the lobster tails and found the tails, two five ounce, five ounce probably including the shells so meat portion was very small. Fifty dollars was excessive. I had the 10 oz filet mignon and was a big disappointment. The steak was almost cool and was maybe one inch thick. I ordered it med/rare and it came to me a very light pink bordering on medium. Cooked as it was it was still cool when served. The service was fine but with tax and tip the cost of our dinner was $220.00 well overpriced.
Excellent service and wonderful food!
Very nice looking space, but a bit difficult to find from the road. Very business casual crowd, was a good choice for a business lunch.
Kincaid’s was generally up to its usual excellence. However my wife’s meal was not up to their standard. She did not mention it until after we returned home. They would have made it right. This is one of our favorite places for lunch or dinner and for special occasions.
Our wait person Patrick was fantastic!! Satisfied all of our needs
Kincaid’s is always great. Great food and great service. It’s quiet for conversations and the staff is appropriately attentive.
Our waitress was great ...Rachel. Good friendly service
Normally one of our go-to spots, the last visit has given us pause on whether to return. Very busy, understandably, yet not overwhelmingly so. Greeted quickly by our server, who was efficient and friendly. The problems arose with the food. Bland, overdone, seemingly thrown onto the plate without regard to presentation or appeal. The Prime Rib, ordered medium, was teetering on well done. The side of vegetables was sparse- we counted four total pieces. In contrast, the lobster dish had about a cup or so for its serving (of the same side). I will normally take most of my portions home due to some dietary restrictions so I asked for the remainder to be boxed. They remove the food and do this in the back room. Normally a nice touch, however, when I looked at the packaging, I found that the assistant threw the hot appetizer on top of the cold salad...I guess two boxes was too much to ask for?? Also, half of the appetizer and half of my remaining entree were missing- the lobster I took home was tossed into a second container without the remaining sides. I realize this is somewhat silly, but the cost of the meal demands better service than that- and half of my meal was forgotten by the waitstaff. Kincaids has started to decline as of late at this location, hopefully not a sign of things to come.
Great food, service, and atmosphere.
Had scallops and they were extremely small, not nearly as good as scallops in St Paul. My date asked which ones were the scallops. The potatoes were not very tasty either. My date wasn't given a steak knife for prime rib. The wedge salad was excellent.
Again, incredibly impressed with the Service - Lucky enough to have LJ (Lori) as our server and she seemed to remember everything we had during our last meal in Mid January. She is a wealth of knowledge, and is very, very pleasant. I wish she could move to my hometown to train some of the newbies in how to treat a customer!
