Celebrate Mother's Day with our favorite Brunch & Dinner options!
Great food! Great atmosphere! We were seated quickly and the waitress was quite pleasant. It was our first time there and we’d definitely go back. They even provided a complimentary creme brûlée when they found out we were there celebrating our anniversary.
Outstanding food (our entrees were grilled salmon and scallops) and attentive service. Ours was an anniversary visit and the staff treated us well.
Special birthday dinner. Food (salmon and halibut) excellent. Service attentive. Crime brûlée desserts perfect. Thank you.
Great patio lunch spot.
Loved that there were spaces between tables. Noise level was perfect.
Everything was great!
Service and food (Wagnu sirloin and halibut) were exceptional!
Overall a good experience.
Food and service are always outstanding at this Kincaids. It had been a few years since dining there, but the haven't lost their touch. Probably my favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities.
Good food, great staff
When we checked in, the hostess told us we had 90 minutes to finish and we had to give up the table. What a horrible first impression!
There was nobody waiting when we left the restaurant so the warning left a bad impression and even though the food was good, we won’t be back to Kincaid’s.
We have always loved the old Kincaid before Landry got involved servers are under staff, no bus people to assist water tables , clear plates, and the staff should be able to pack customers left overs instead of us struggling at the table doing the packing other restaurants have resumed this task.
The food is excellent. Their creme brulee was outstanding!
The free Creme Brule for my wife's birthday was a nice toucvh!
A great spot with superb food service and ambiance.
Kinkaids used to be good 20 years ago, but has been bad now for years. We thought we'd try it again given short notice. Unfortunately, it was really bad...maybe try it in another 20 years if they're not gone by then.
The waiters are attentive, but not hovering. The food we ordered: calamari, Caesar salad, scallops, and creme brulee--all delicious. The waiter also brought the perfect wine pairing for the entree. A much needed very relaxing, quiet dinner with just the sound of trickling water as we sat next to the rock/water installation. Great ambiance! This is always my go-to for a special treat and pampering!
Delightful evening! Great food! The server was wonderful!
Took my wife out for a birthday dinner, and the experience was just about perfect. Due to our OpenTable reservation, they had our table set up and ready for us as we arrived. The room and ambience were very pleasant. As a result of CoViD precautions, there were very few other diners, which meant we got extra attention from our server, who anticipated every concern through the entire dinner. The food was delicious, and the wine and cocktails just what fit our food choices perfectly. They even provided us with a free Creme Brulee desert for my wife to celebrate her birthday, and my Key Lime pie was delicious.
Artichoke dip was excellent as was the main course. We all had the halibut special served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. One of our favorites offered by Kincaids.
This was a group of my golfing buddies and the night was fantastic. Service food and atmosphere!!
The staff was amazing, very friendly and engaging. The fish I had was outstanding, I want to come back soon and have the exact same thing!
We celebrated our 38th anniversary there and they gave us a complimentary dessert.
The server, the service, the food, and the ambience were superb as usual. Kincaid's is one of our go to restaurants.
We sat in the bar this evening to watch the women's NCAA final game. Food and service were outstanding, as usual.
Some weeks ago, Kincaid's sent out a menu for the Easter meal--included ham, scalloped potatoes, vegetable and dessert for $39 per person. So that's what we were expecting to get. When seated, waiter gave us the regular menu and didn't know about the meal that had been offered. He asked the manager and came back to our table to say, that was the offer. I saw this as "bait and switch". 2 of us had the promised ham dinner and it was delicious. I think wait staff should know what's happening at their restaurant.
We celebrated Easter at Kincaids this year and the food was absolutely delicious. I am hesitant to order Eggs Benedict at most restaurants because I seldom like their sauce, but the Hollandaise at Kincaids was terrific. Everyone at our table chose a different entree, and no one was disappointed. The restaurant was beautiful, our server was amazing and the controlled seating made everyone feel very safe. Great Job. We will be back for Mother’s Day!!!
We went to Kincades for a Easter Brunch and was disappointed. The Latte was flavorless. The food was not fresh, appears to have been pre made. My order of a “American” Waygu was a piece of prime labeled as Waygu and didn’t resemble anything close to Waygu. Breakfast Potato were probably made a couple of days before, string beans were made day before, and my wife’s order of a Eggs Benedict was stale day old muffin. We felt insulted by a $72 breakfast I could have gotten for 1/4 of the price at you local dinner.
My Husband and I want to enjoy the National Oyster Day special. The waitress came over and told us they don’t have oysters. We asked because we had an email saying they were running an oyster special. The waitress went and checked with somebody and came back and said no we did not get oysters. Then later on she came back and said they were getting oysters but not till next day. At the end of our meal the manager came over and asked if we wanted oysters. We said we thought you don’t have oysters yet. They had gotten in oysters but apparently had not communicated it with their staff.
The food was good, but not great. Usually Kincaids does a much better job.
Everything was great!
Great neighborhood upscale restaurant. Very close to where we live so it is a joy to go - short commute, good food, good service. Sending out specials which makes a difference in this economy. Would highly recommend.
Always great food, service and atmosphere. We are glad to be back1. Thank you.
Well I was very happy with the hostess she was kind and courteous. She helped me straighten out my online reservation and called me on the evening of my dinner to assure my reservation. Jordan our server for the evening was also kind and courteous. He was attentive to our needs at ever turn of the evening. From taking our order to presenting the appetizer and drinks, to the main entrees. His attention to detail was impeccable he handle all of our needs with our toddler and others with quick respectful service. We have not been out a lot as a family but when we do we will definitely be back
Kincaids never disappoints. My sister used to hostess at the Bloomington location so it’s been around a long time and I’m so grateful for that. I’ve celebrated many special occasions there and we love it! This time I brought a friend from MD who really wanted to eat at a seafood restaurant. She was thrilled with the crab dip. We both ate all of our scallop dish. She loved her red velvet bread pudding - it was decadent but not too sweet. My only complaint was my drink was served in a tall Pilsner beer like glass - I kept having to move the ice out of the crowded glass to drink. But it’s a tiny complaint & I’ll still come back.
Our server forget our bread he didn’t serve it until I ask for it. I told him that my Salmon was not cook and he just said you want a little more cook? The salmon was still cold inside, who does eat cold salmon? Mine as well go eat sushi. He took my plate instead of making me a new salmon the reheat my salmon to cook it. I mean I spend 26 dollars for that salmon to be serve raw? Come on??
Because the main dining area is in a multi-story atrium, it is a much larger space than most restaurants and safer to be around others. The tables and booths available are far apart, another safety factor. Service excellent, food good. Menu is more limited than in the past but understandable. Feels quiet and peaceful. Very enjoyable experience.
The food was perfect, prime rib exceptional. the waiter (Jay) was very helpful and professional.
My daughter and I had an excellent experience there. Food was amazing! Couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful waiter and as a first timer in this area, he was very thoughtful in answering our questions! From the cocktail, appetizer, meal and dessert, we loved it all!
We always thought Kincaid’s would be expensive for the food and service, but we were very pleased to find that this is not true. Excellent food at a reasonable price.
For what you'd expect from a high level dining venue, we were disappointed the last two visits after years of not visiting. Wanted to give it a current shot based on a recent recommendation. For an overall per guest total cost of +/- $100 each. we didn't really feel that we got what should be part of that level of meal. Identical orders for each of us were prepared differently. Food temperature was inconsistent. Meal modifications were not even processed or addressed. We won't consider this a location to visit for a classic steak dinner like you'd get at other similar restaurants. The salad, good tasting, was nothing presented wiht any style. The highlights were the garlic bread and calamari. Not likley to return.....we could get fish and chips or a burger a lot of other places.
Food was great but the staff was a let down so would not go back given all the other dinning options.
