Food was overdone, forgot soup before meal. Steak was over done and dry fish was breaded and burnt.
1) I was disappointed with the limited menu.
2) I was disappointed your on-line menu listed BBQ Baby Back Ribs but that was no available when we arrived.
3) I felt $19.00 for a hamburger, with bacon, was way too expensive.
4) There was confusion on the server's part when charging my gift card for the meal and adding a tip.
5) Server was gone a considerable amount of time when I wanted to pay the final bill.
In summary, your restaurant was my top place to go out and dine. Based on my experience yesterday it will be a very long time before I return.
We had a lovely time in the dining room at Kincaid for lunch - great service, wonderful food. BUT we do miss the menu and the more casual vibe we used to enjoy at the bar where we’d often meet for lunch before Covid
Service was excellent. We ordered fish and salmon it was very good (salmon was my favorite) Overall a very nice first experience. We had reservations since it was Mother’s Day so no waiting time. Can’t say it’s my favorite restaurant but sure it’s delicious. We had key lime pie as our waiter suggested and it’s quite tasty. Creme brûlée was complementary since it was my birthday and it was so good!
Mother’s Day Brunch. Our server was nice and fairly attentive. Food was VERY slow coming out. Thankfully, we were not in a hurry. The food itself, however, was less than I expect from Kincaids at the menu price point. My frittata was so overcooked and very dry and the French toast so hard it needed a knife. We went to Kincaids for the lovely atmosphere and usual food quality. Probably won’t return.
My first phone call to make a reservation for brunch on Mothers Day was somewhat of a surprise. I was told that all tables had been reserved. I went online and immediately was able to book a table for two. A few days later I called again and changed the reservation for four people with no problem. When we arrived and were seated, we had many tables around us that were unoccupied - for the entire time we were there. I had also requested our favorite table. Hovever, it was one of the few tables already occupied. Something must be wrong with the reservation system.
Our server was sooooo slow! We had 5 open tables around us for social distancing and saw her only helping one more table. We were just served our dinner at the 90 min maximum stay per table.
Always a favorite place to go! Wonderful food, drinks and staff!
Everything was excellent. The food, the service, the atmosphere. I highly recommend Kincaid’s!!
We came for our wedding anniversary and all was perfect!
Service impeccable. Entree fabulous. Getting too overpriced, however. Didn't get to sit in dining room bc had outside reservations...so was put on side of bar. A bit disappointed.
Outstanding food (our entrees were grilled salmon and scallops) and attentive service. Ours was an anniversary visit and the staff treated us well.
Great food! Great atmosphere! We were seated quickly and the waitress was quite pleasant. It was our first time there and we’d definitely go back. They even provided a complimentary creme brûlée when they found out we were there celebrating our anniversary.
Classy restaurant for a dinner with an old friend. Excellent food at a reasonable price.
Special birthday dinner. Food (salmon and halibut) excellent. Service attentive. Crime brûlée desserts perfect. Thank you.
Great patio lunch spot.
Loved that there were spaces between tables. Noise level was perfect.
Everything was great!
Service and food (Wagnu sirloin and halibut) were exceptional!
Overall a good experience.
Food and service are always outstanding at this Kincaids. It had been a few years since dining there, but the haven't lost their touch. Probably my favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities.
Good food, great staff
When we checked in, the hostess told us we had 90 minutes to finish and we had to give up the table. What a horrible first impression!
There was nobody waiting when we left the restaurant so the warning left a bad impression and even though the food was good, we won’t be back to Kincaid’s.
We have always loved the old Kincaid before Landry got involved servers are under staff, no bus people to assist water tables , clear plates, and the staff should be able to pack customers left overs instead of us struggling at the table doing the packing other restaurants have resumed this task.
The food is excellent. Their creme brulee was outstanding!
The free Creme Brule for my wife's birthday was a nice toucvh!
A great spot with superb food service and ambiance.
Kinkaids used to be good 20 years ago, but has been bad now for years. We thought we'd try it again given short notice. Unfortunately, it was really bad...maybe try it in another 20 years if they're not gone by then.
The waiters are attentive, but not hovering. The food we ordered: calamari, Caesar salad, scallops, and creme brulee--all delicious. The waiter also brought the perfect wine pairing for the entree. A much needed very relaxing, quiet dinner with just the sound of trickling water as we sat next to the rock/water installation. Great ambiance! This is always my go-to for a special treat and pampering!
Delightful evening! Great food! The server was wonderful!
Took my wife out for a birthday dinner, and the experience was just about perfect. Due to our OpenTable reservation, they had our table set up and ready for us as we arrived. The room and ambience were very pleasant. As a result of CoViD precautions, there were very few other diners, which meant we got extra attention from our server, who anticipated every concern through the entire dinner. The food was delicious, and the wine and cocktails just what fit our food choices perfectly. They even provided us with a free Creme Brulee desert for my wife to celebrate her birthday, and my Key Lime pie was delicious.
Artichoke dip was excellent as was the main course. We all had the halibut special served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. One of our favorites offered by Kincaids.
This was a group of my golfing buddies and the night was fantastic. Service food and atmosphere!!
The staff was amazing, very friendly and engaging. The fish I had was outstanding, I want to come back soon and have the exact same thing!
We celebrated our 38th anniversary there and they gave us a complimentary dessert.
The server, the service, the food, and the ambience were superb as usual. Kincaid's is one of our go to restaurants.
We sat in the bar this evening to watch the women's NCAA final game. Food and service were outstanding, as usual.
Some weeks ago, Kincaid's sent out a menu for the Easter meal--included ham, scalloped potatoes, vegetable and dessert for $39 per person. So that's what we were expecting to get. When seated, waiter gave us the regular menu and didn't know about the meal that had been offered. He asked the manager and came back to our table to say, that was the offer. I saw this as "bait and switch". 2 of us had the promised ham dinner and it was delicious. I think wait staff should know what's happening at their restaurant.
We celebrated Easter at Kincaids this year and the food was absolutely delicious. I am hesitant to order Eggs Benedict at most restaurants because I seldom like their sauce, but the Hollandaise at Kincaids was terrific. Everyone at our table chose a different entree, and no one was disappointed. The restaurant was beautiful, our server was amazing and the controlled seating made everyone feel very safe. Great Job. We will be back for Mother’s Day!!!
We went to Kincades for a Easter Brunch and was disappointed. The Latte was flavorless. The food was not fresh, appears to have been pre made. My order of a “American” Waygu was a piece of prime labeled as Waygu and didn’t resemble anything close to Waygu. Breakfast Potato were probably made a couple of days before, string beans were made day before, and my wife’s order of a Eggs Benedict was stale day old muffin. We felt insulted by a $72 breakfast I could have gotten for 1/4 of the price at you local dinner.
