House-cured fresh smoked salmon, puff pastry muffin, creme fraiche, caviar
To me, the salmon was a little over cooked. Meal was fine otherwise.
Went out to eat here over the weekend. Service ok, food less than good. The filet was the best thing we ordered, prime rib and salmon not good at all. Just ok.
Turn down the music! We come to chat not listen to a concert of your canned music! Otherwise A plus!!
Been going to Kincaids for years. Food this time was mediocre at best.
INCREDIBLE HIDDEN GEM!! A new favorite
I would highly recommend Kinkaid's - service, quality of food, cleanliness, and value are the reasons I would list this as one of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities!
The food is incredible and the staff is so caring and really makes you feel special!
We took advantage of an e-mail coupon that offered a 3 course meal for $35.00 which included choice of salad and desert each. I had the prime rib and it was excellent. My wife had the walleye which she said was done perfect. The service was just wonderful and the spacing between the table made us feel super comfortable. The dining area is very open with a soaring ceiling and lots of air movement. Great experience!
clam chowder was wonderful, we had the walleye and prime rib, both done to perfection, and the keylime pie , to die for, wonderful restraunt
The food has changed so much - FAIR at best. Sitting by a window that was cold and breezy - just a totally different experience since Landrys has been involved. I'm putting down that I would recommend because there was a Yes or No - I'd say maybe.
The Almond Crusted Sea Scallops were done perfectly. The Hot Crab & Artichoke Dip was the best we have had anywhere. Char-grilled Filet Mignon was tender and very tasty. Server was attentive to all our needs. Overall and excellent dinner.
So disappointed! In the midst of COVID scariness, we arrived to be seated at a filthy table and the server delivered food with her ungloved thumbs in the food. The server didn't know the Chef's Seafood Special menu, didn't know about the wine that was paired with the meal, didn't know about Bourbons available, forgot to bring bread - had to ask for it, didn't explain part of HOT scallop main course was served on something COLD (so we were freaked - the scallops and asparagus were luke warm) just - plain - failed. In a restaurant where guests were sparse (hello COVID), we were placed at a table within visual and audible distance from the kitchen and wait station. The light was TOO bright, it was LOUD and very unsettling. Not romantic AT ALL. There were MANY desirable, window seats available but we got THIS ONE. We have been guests as Kincaid's for YEARS, Sad to say, we will NEVER go back.
We really enjoyed our evening at Kincaid's. In fact we were having so much fun that our waiter had to tell us that the restaurant was closed and that we needed to leave! Delicious food & great ambiance. It was truly a memorable evening.
Birthday Happy Hour. Very nice ambiance.
Not good walleye ( in Minnesota?). Very limited menu. Good service!
The food and service were fabulous as always. We both thought we had the best calamari we have ever had. We sat on the patio and it became quite cold as the sun started to set. If you want diners on the patio into the fall, heat lamps are a must!
Kinkaid's is one of my favorites. It always feels like a special place to be. I frequently tell my husband that I would rather have one meal out a month at Kincaid's than several out at mediocre restaurant. My crispy scallops for lunch was absolutely terrific.
Been here many, many times with only one bad experience. Highly recommend it.
Complimentary dessert :)
Prime rib was tough, flavorless and cool. Asparagus was undercooked. Service was very good. Not the severs fault.
Everything was splendid!
Love the location, set up and most of all your food and service.
I had the best walleye I’ve ever had. Pan-fried Asiago.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening. Drinks, appetizers, main course, and dessert! All outstanding. One of the better restaurants in the Southwest corridor of 494. Make it a must-visit.
We celebrated our Anniversary at Kincaids this week and the food was amazing. We started with the Crab dip, and finished every bite. We both had the Blue Cheese Salads, and my husband had the Prime Rib and I had the Salmon. We both agreed our meal was perfect. Even the mashed potatoes were delicious.
Took a while for someone to great when we arrived
Food was marginal - service was great
The patio at Kincaid's is a beautiful setting for a delicious, relaxing meal. The food was great and the service from Danni was even better!
Kincaids is the best location for outdoor dining during the pandemic. Service is as usual outstanding. Good variety of menu selection. Thank you-- Joshua.
Kincaids is always our top choice for eating out. The patio when the weather is accommading is superb.
Kincaids has done and outstanding job of following the protocol for COVID 19. It is THE Place during this pandemic year. Thank you for hosting a safe, comfortable and delicious food experience ..
We enjoyed a beautiful fall lunch on the patio! I ordered the scallops and they were amazing - definitely a "thumbs up"!!
Quiet and comfortable. Good service.
A pleasant evening dining outdoors. My steak, ordered "as rare as they dare," was medium. Wrong vegetables were brought. Drink order was forgotten. Entree (mediocre) didn't rise to the price charged ($49/each). Waiter was exceptionally cordial and pleasant. (I realize restaurants are operating under unfamiliar circumstances and adjustment takes time.)
We went there to celebrate a birthday which they gave him a complimentary dessert which was thoughtful. We both ordered filet with grilled prawns. Excellent as always!
Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere. Best prime rib ever. We will return
Kincaids is so different since the merger and of course we are taking into account Covid. Service very slow, food which use to be fantastic now is mediocre, patio is great but too cold to sit outside so we came inside. The new management has taken away the free appetizer if you dine in on an event day - Really????? I wish I could give a better review. I use to give the old Kincaids 5 stars always.
It was first time I had been out to dine since pandemic. It was a delight. Food was excellent as was service Presentation eye appealing. Delightful
Very slow service in the bar area. Only people in there. Asked the bartender for another round of drinks, as waitress was not around. Asked about a burger special from an e-mail special that day from Kincaids. Was first told it was a mistake, but then they could honor it. Needs a shot in the arm. Waiters wear masks, but no gloves. I was told it wasn’t deemed necessary to wear them. 😳Food was good when orders were served.
Prime Rib was perfect.
Caesar salad was great.
Patio was nice.
