Celebrated the birthday of a friend. It was lovely that she received a free dessert with a candle in it!
I have NEVER been disappointed at Kincaid's in Bloomington, MN. The food was superb and so was the service. Because it was a birthday celebration, a free dessert was provided, also.
We celebrated our friend’s anniversary and chose Kincaid’s because the 4 of us love the restaurant. Again, it was exceptional! The food was excellent, our waiter, Jerry, was delightful, knowledgeable and helpful. The ‘Tomahawk pork chop’ was superb, tender and served over mashed potatoes, asparagus, in a pool of a very tasty demi glace. Cudos to the chef!
The food was good but we would need to see more gluten free and celiac friemdly items on the menu to return

Service was a little slow but they seemed pretty busy for a Wednesday. Bread was fresh and the fish entrees were very delicious. Restaurant had very distinctive and inviting décor.

It was very slow for food to come out but the server was really good and they apologized for the wait. They also didn’t take Landry’s gift cards which was one of the only reasons we went there. It was still a very nice experience.
This was not the best experience, we have always had a great experience at Kincaid’s but not tonight.

Restaurant Week is always a winner here. Although any time is a good time to choose this spot. First rate menu and friendly and astute service is the standard.

Wonderful experience from the waiter to the food. The waiter was very good, personable, efficient and knowledgeable. The food was wonderful, as always. We were there for Restaurant Week. I had clam chowder ,prime rib burnt cream and was great, The other person had Caesar Salad, salmon and burnt cream. She was quite impressed. All and all, it was a fun experience.
We were seated right away. We were pleased with the Caesar Salad. The garlic bread could of had more butter on them. I ordered off the restaurant week menu and had the halibut. It was delicious. I brought some home. My husband had a hamburger, it was huge and delicious. We shared the Key lime dessert from my restaurant menu. It was light and delicious.
The food was delicious and our server Jay was excellent!
Server was very slow. We ended up being there over 2 hours (for two people). Other staff brought out the majority of our meal. Waited too long for everything. Bread was hard. Brie appetizer was sub-par. It was dry and crust was over cooked. Most of the bread that came with it were over toasted and inedible. My friend didn’t care for her wine, so she got a different glass but we practically had to beg to try a sip of a different kind to avoid dumping the glass like the first time around. We both got the pretzel crusted walleye. The fish was fine, but there was way too much coating on it. I scraped mine off. The rice pilaf was tasteless and not even worth eating. I think it was more of a garnish then a side. The vegetable medley was cold, hard (as in under cooked) and sparse. My martini was excellent however. That was the only high point for me. I typically go to the Kincaid’s in St Paul which seems more like fine dining than the experience in Bloomington. I can’t recommend this location. Between the food and the service, it was not worth the $65.
Great lunch at Kincaid's on yesterday. I took my friend there for her birthday. Everything was delicious and proportioned just right. Loved the Key Lime pie!
We celebrated my husbands birthday which coincided with restaurant week. I ordered the Salmon and my husband ordered the Prime Rib. Both entrees were cooked perfectly.
We eat out frequently, and always appreciate the subdued noise level at Kincaids.
It was VERY busy, service was still very good. Had the Restaurant Week special.

It was a great girl’s night out for us on Fat Tuesday. The service was wonderful. We appreciated the menu suggestions. All of our meals were prepared perfectly as ordered and the pace of courses allowed us time for relaxing conversations.
Servers are always 2nd to none. Knowledgeable about the menu and talk enough to make you feel welcome but not too much to interfere with your meal.
Everything we had was delicious! Oven roasted chicken Dijon was amazing! Both deserts burnt cream and key lime pie were very tasty!

We had another poor experience at Kincaid’s on Saturday night. All four dinners were served cold. My prime rib was so chewy I could barely cut it with the serrated steak knife provided. I ate less than a third because you could not chew it. My husband said his steak was cold, dry and chewy. One of our guests was complimentary but 3 of 4 felt the food was poor. This experience follows a similar one where we took the time to complain. This time we left saying nothing but will not come back.
We have always enjoyed Kincaids. We usually eat in the main restaurant, but we choose to eat in the bar this time. It was in the afternoon, not real busy when we first got there, but it got busier pretty quickly. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Food we chose was very good. We will be back.
Our overall experience was not what it has been in the past. Both the food and the service were less than what it used to be. Disappointing!
Always a good menu and specials. we especially Enjoyed having Sarah as our waitress. She was friendly, competent and helpful with menu selections.

we loved the food and service but it was very, very cold in the restaurant. there were 6 of us from ages 26 to 65 and we were all freezing. we asked to move to a different table, not possible, so we all ate our meals with our coats on.
The food and drinks were amazing! Will definitely be back!
Once again our visit was made even more special because we had Gary for our server. His service and attention to detail always makes us feel like we are his only customer.
There are a number of steakhouses in Minneapolis. I have eaten at Kincaid’s in Bloomington twice in the last month and the food was average. I tried the meatloaf the first time, but the puff pastry was soggy and the meatloaf lacked flavor. The second time, I went with a filet with the crab béarnaise and asparagus. Nothing special and I get grilled steaks at home with more flavor. And, my béarnaise sauce from a package is just as good.
So, I will be spending my money at better steakhouses like, Manny’s, Ruth Chris’ or Murray’s for example.
Went out for my birthday. Tables were more crammed together because of Valentine’s Day so you felt a bit on top of each other. Server was excellent, but service was slow at times, which was not her fault.
First, the servers at Kincaids are awesome and the best part of the dining experience. They are nice, knowledgeable and attentive. However, the food on the Valentine’s weekend menu did not meet our expectations! The bone in short ribs was terrible, basically all bone and little meat. The wait time for our meal was way too long. We had asked for a special table and had been assured by one of the hostesses that we would be accommodated but the message on the note she left was totally ignored. Overall, we had a bad experience. We don’t plan to return to Kincaids!!
The so called Prawns were actually medium shrimp at best , the bone in pork chops were over cooked and they were over priced. I don’t understand why that happened as we sat down at 4:30 pm. It was NOT busy. Disappointed as it was our wedding day and thought we’d picked a good spot to celebrate.
