Really variable service. Had my daughter’s birthday meal here. They took more than 30 minutes after we were ready to give our order (45 minutes after arrival) to take our order. We ordered all together. They brought my 3 yo’s food our almost an hour before our the rest of the party’s order. They did not follow dietary considerations for allergies and were one of our members to eat the dish they ordered how it was taken would’ve had to go to the hospital (fortunately they noticed). They brought out the appetizer after all the main courses had been served. The worst part of it all (why I’m even writing this review) was after all this the attitude was such that they were doing their best, and perhaps we were difficult customers, however these mistakes were made at a time it was not busy and every single thing we ordered came out differently than we had ordered it.

The meal overall was good. We hadn't been to dinner at Kincaids for a while. The soup/salads,
entrees were really good. The dessert, however, was weird. We ordered creme brûlée - it came
out like soup, not custard. It was not creme brûlée at all. They, did however, admit it was not
done properly and offered us another shot at creme brûlée. We didn't take the offer. Jennifer,
a manager, came over to our table to apologize. I felt they should have given a credit on the bill.

Fantastic food! We went for Oakland Restaurant Week and the selection of menus was very good for the price. The food was fresh and tasty, I loved my waygu steak - cooked to perfection.

My husband and I both ordered the Peppercorn steak because of the description on the menu. It turned out to be nothing like the description. There were no peppercorns and the topping which was supposed to contain blue cheese, but barely had any on it. He ordered his steak medium well and I ordered mine medium rare. They were both done the same.

All in all a good meal... Strange to have artichoke hearts in deep fried calamari. Prime rib was good. The serving of salmon was on the small side.

Great lunch combo special options. I had the clam chowder and open face crab sandwich. The staff was excellent. The decor was very nice and they have lots of tables that can get you a view of the water.

It was a number of years since I ate there. I'll be going back more often, I'm sure.

After waiting for awhile we had to ask for the waitress to come to our table, but once she did, she was friendly and for the most part attentive.
It took awhile for the food to come even though they didn't appear to be that busy.
The vegetables were inedible. They did offer substitutes once we brought it to their attention.
The meal was overpriced for what we received.
Not too pleased with the menu changes from the last time I was here.
This has been our go to place for our get togethers, but we might try somewhere else next time.

I've visited this wonderful place many times over the years. I've never had a plate that I didn't enjoy. Usually I'm very pleased with the food, but this is the first time that I found it to be very salty. I ordered the lobster bisque, and the scallops and both were just too salty. The service was outstanding as always, so I'm hoping it was just an odd night for the chef.

Our family of 4 enjoyed a delicious meal celebrating my husband's birthday while seated overlooking the beautiful SF bay. The server was pleasant and attentive. The ambiance was relaxing and calm. We enjoyed scallops, ravioli, salmon, seafood pasta, along with salads and calamari appetizer. Delicious! Will definitely visit again soon!

Was really looking forward to having a meal here, it was our first and last time. It seemed that they were short staffed and scattered. It took a long time to be seated even though we had a reservation, and then after being seated a very long time before the server came to take our order she then realized that we were not given a complete menu . The quality of the food was good but did not make up for the lack of service and organization.

I enjoyed Kincaids, but what colored my experience in a negative light was that my wife fell on the way to our seats and the host didn’t stop, apologize or even acknowledge it. No one cared.

Braised beef and mushroom ravioli was delicious. Restaurant was out of jam, but did their best to find us a substitute. We always enjoy their warm Brie appetizer. The Prime rib our friend ordered was not particularly good today.

Amazing location. Even though we had reservations, we weren't seated for 15 minutes. The salmon was amazing. The vegetarian pasta was super pricey and did not deliver on flavor at all. Needs veggie options.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Went here before the theatre for dinner & drinks and it was great as always. I had one of the chef's special crab & lobster stuff sole and my date had the braised short ribs. Both were really good. Unfortunately we had no time for dessert. Maybe next time. :)

I've been to this place many times before, got the same waitress as last time and surprisingly she remembered us. She provided great service, we were very happy with her, but unfortunately this time, the food was not as good as before. The short ribs I ordered was tasteless, I had to keep adding salt. My girlfriend's vegetable was hard and tasteless also, seemed like the veggies was quickly thrown on the grill without much thought or seasoning. They also did not look very good.

The dinning experience was very good, just wish the food matched the experience.

The spot lights above the kitchen area shined directly into the dining area, so much so that we had to request a different table. Kind of detracted from a nice dining experience. You needed sunglasses to avoid being blinded. Usually the issue at some restaurants is that it is so dark you need a flashlight to read the menu. Not the case here. Food was very good, though.

Service was extremely slow, which was unwarranted considering the restaurant was half empty. When I finally got the waiter’s attention to ask about the status of our food, he came back with dried out entrees that looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. The food was definitely not worth the price or the wait. The dismal service just exacerbated the bad situation. Kincaid’s has certainly gone downhill and I will not be back for another visit.

We usually frequent Scott's Seafood Restaurant, which we love. But I have to admit that our food and the ambiance was a bit better at Kincaid's! Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Eve meal. We drive there from Benicia!

Food was mediocre- wedge salad was bland and didn’t have fresh bacon bits (which was hard to find/an after thought). Had to remind server -twice- that he had not served my cocktail, and the salmon dish was served with plain steamed squash (mostly zucchini) and a few fingerling potatoes! The best part of the meal was the Key Lime Pie!
