Great prime rib.
Excellent service and meals. Ambience is very inviting with great views of the Bay and SFO.
Submitted reservation through OpenTable for business dinner and everything was ready when we arrived. Great staff, excellent food and nice atmosphere for dinning.
The service was awful. The server was really forgetful. When we sat down, he said he was going to “be right back and get us bread” so we waited... and waited and waited then we ordered our app and waited on bread. When our app was dropped off, we asked the food runner for bread. Then when our server showed up, he snapped at us and said bread was only given by request only. But it was offered....?
Hot water was forgotten, glass of wine was forgotten. When it was time to leave, bc at that point we had been sitting there for almost 2 hours, he said “leaving already? What’d I do?” Well, at this point we just needed to get home and relieve the sitter... but honestly, everything. The question was also uncomfortable for a guest.
We’re not going to come back. We frequently visit Kincaid’s in Oakland and I think if we have an itch for Kincaid’s, we’ll just go there from now on.
So, I had been to Kincaid's in Oakland and I wasn't impress however; I thought I would give this location a try. To my surprise, it was great. Robert, our waiter, was great and his recommendations were superb. Based on our dining experience, I would highly recommend this location. We had the sampler that was amazing and we each had the prime rib dinner. The dinner was great. I will be back again.
Service was very slow, particularly checking out.
Service very slow. So noises we couldn’t hear each other.
Food quality has gone downhill. Had to send one dish back. Shellfish overcooked and no flavor
We dine at Kincaid's on a regular basis. The food is always great and so is the service. Even though this is a very busy restaurant, it is also very amenable to conversation.
This was our second dinner here in as many weeks, as we found outselves nearby unexpectedly after a business conference at the Hilton 2 weeks earlier. Both times were Saturday nights and both times we had prime rib and both times it was excellent.
It was a birthday. The waiter was super!
Met my niece’s husband who was in town on business. Perfect place to see the bay and the planes arriving. We enjoyed cocktails and a nice dinner.
Great meal, great view, great bar, great staff, great time - as always!
Family in town
The view was spectacular and the service was adequate. The food was terrible. I have had good lobster bisque and this one was salty. The crab sandwich was also salty. The coffee was awful.
It’s always been a great place to meet with family and friends.
service from the waiter was mediocre! At first he was attentive when we ordered appetizers and drinks.. when we told him we would line to order later for the main course 15 mins since we wanted to enjoy our appetizers first. He came 20 mins later and took our orders. My momsy’s n niece’s order were fine , but mine was so so.. Ordered the “Wagyu NY steak” medium well but came out well done and the beef was not tender like a wagyu beef should be. He never came to ask how our food
was or do we need anything else. If i did not eye contact with him, he wouldn’t come to our table. We are regulars at this restaurant so he must be new... he never smiled and was just up front. Just a little disappointed with my food and a boring blah server...
We always enjoy Kincaids. However this past Sunday, Easter Sunday, after church and dressed up..went to Kincaids for Easter brunch. The area around our table was full of crumbs and food..really gross... no one paid attention to detail while cleaning up the table of the people eating there before us. Looked like there were a bunch of kids at that table. When you go to a nice restaurant especially on a special occasion day, you'd expect cleanliness and cosideration of customers. I asked 2 people to clean the area before we even sat down. Not my job..it's the job of head servers and managers. Please take note of this.
Ordered eggs Benedict, poached eggs should be soft, these were hard boiled and were not served hot . Very disappointing, service was good, drinks were good. For what they charges for food he value was poor.
Celebrating Easter Sunday Brunch. The service was very good, the wait staff very friendly. The Hostess has been working at Kincaid’s for years, and she is great !
The Appetizer is a winner. Though expensive, it was worth it. One must try this Sampler plate to enjoy the different offerings. The Seafood Louie was outstanding ! The grilled Salmon was perfectly seasoned, Dungeness Crab, poached jumbo prawns, hard-boiled egg, and housemade thousand island dressing, superb !
It was a bit noisy, which was surprising to me. Perhaps because it was Easter Sunday and the restaurant was crowded.
Birthday. We got charged for the bill when he brought out the desert. Missing items on the Louie salad. Egg and not enough seafood on the salad.
We dine at Kincaid’s on a regular basis and everything was excellent!
First off....we showed up 15 mins early...but they sat us anyway. We are local, as in live 3 miles away. This is how great service works, regardless of where you live.
Secondly, we love Kincaid's and it is one of our go to restaurants. This visit however, was lacking. I'm hoping it was just an off night. The appetizers were great and as consistent as always, as was the wedge salad.
The entree's... unfortunately, this is where it began to go downhill. The Prime Rib was retiled with hard un edible fatty/skin, akin to tough pig ear texture. I had asked for medium-rare...but it showed up well done. Prime Rib is not easy to cook...and I get that, but I've had Prime Rib 10+ times here, never was it like this. Oh well....am I never coming back...no. I'll of course be back, but if it is hit or miss again...I won't be back.
Lastly, we use the Restaurant Unlimited "points" to get credit fur future purchases....we always give our phone number....this time was embarrassing. The waiter came back and accused us on not have an account...LOUDLY. I showed him my emails of the account and the email address it sent too, again he cam back and accused US of being mistaken ( I didn't even care about it at this point...but the fact that he was accusatory, made me defensive.) I tried to say quietly, no problem, that's OK, I'll figure it out as it really wasn't a big deal...but he kept on. I just wanted to leave...I don't have time for this nor care...but regardless I do NOT like being called out for this in the middle of the dinning room.
Cell service here is crappy...I couldn't pull up my account while there. % mins later after we left I had my "restaurants-unlimeted account" pulled up by the info I gave him. Guess what? It exists?
We won't be here for a while. Thank God I didn't have business/customers with me.
You need to get back on your game Kincaid's.
Also didn't enjoy seeing the staff outside in the parking lot while leaving talking sh*t about the restaurant when leaving.
Great steaks, great service and even greater views!
Service was very good. Good menu. Great views of Bay.
Was ok. Even though I put in comments about it being a birthday celebration nothing special from the staff. No mention no cake like other establishments. Our server was ok hospitality nothing to write home about. Not very welcoming or friendly. Had to ask for the special Friday night couples meal. Food was good. Prime rib a little tough. Rest of food good. Good calamari and crab dip. Service a bit slow. First time at Kincaid’s was ok.
I was disappointed that they took the penne pasta off the combination lunch menu. I was looking forward to ordering my favorite Pt. Reyes Blue Cheese salad and the penne pasta, but was told all pasta has been eliminated from the menu. I don't think that is a good idea.
Food and Service very important to us. Kaitlyn was our server. Very impressed with her service and attention to detail.
Excellent food choices; super friendly manager (Alex) and staff and great view of the Bay. Top on the list for restaurants in Burlingame and around SFO airport. The bar is one of the best!
Three different orders and the fish was raw in the center and the steak was under cooked and tough. The manager had a new fish order placed and took it off the bill. So they did right by us. We just can't recommend their kitchen staff.
Timing for food delivery was not good. We were half way through our salads when the main entrée arrived and just set down on the table. The filet was thin and undercooked for them to charge $42!
They read your special request in remarks when you make reservations on Open Table. I asked for a table by the window and they provided us with a very nice table. They also give great birthday desserts.
I had dinner on Sunday at Kincaid's and the experience was not good. I hadn't been to Kincaid's for over ten years and wanted to take my sister for her birthday. When I made my reservation online, I included the information about her birthday and also mentioned it when I confirmed my reservation. Kincaid's has a high price point for their food. With that high price point, you expect great food and great service. The gentleman who seated us was great. When our server arrived at our table, I was shocked to see that her clothes were very dirty. It was the first thing I noticed each time she came to our table. Our reservation was at 4:15 and they open at 4:00, so obviously she was wearing dirty clothes from a previous day. She did confirm that we were celebrating a birthday and that they had a birthday dessert. Our food was good, not great, and the portions seemed very small. We ordered dessert and my sister's arrived, but there was no candle, no happy birthday, nothing. I asked our server about my sister's dessert and her response was that we didn't order the birthday dessert. Hello?? Needless to say, none of us were impressed. Between the dirty clothes and no birthday dessert, I was very disappointed.
Excellent as always! Slightly disappointed in the Cesar salad. Didn't have the wow factor as previously. Good, but not over the top. Kinda like a store bought premix. Still excellent and will return on every trip
As usual we had a great experience! Definitely will be back!
Great restaurant! Great food! Only complaint is when I request a window seat, they always place me and my group on the side so there is a little view.
Our waiter Robert was excellent! So was the food and setting.
Great! Food, service and noise level all very good.
Danielle is the most exceptional wait person I've ever encountered in my life!!!!
