Came here for my birthday dinner with my boyfriend and our son. We arrived early for our reservation and they were able to accomodate us. We had a wonderful view of the San Francisco Bay from our quiet booth. My boyfriend and I both ordered the Chef's Specials which were fabulous! Our son absolutely loves the chicken tenders from the Kids Menu😁 Our server got a bit busy towards the end of our meal but arrived at our table with a nice birthday dessert of Burnt Cream, which is their version of Creme Brulee (complimentary by the way 😉). I like the fact that they have a loyalty program which allows you to accumulate points and get rewarded. We will be returning this gem😉

Who knew? We were surprised at the crowd. There was no parking spaces! It is a very dark there so parking outside of the lot is scary. Our server was fantastic. I would describe our group as not easy to serve-picky, lots of questions, we will send things back and did. She was always smiling and accommodating. We sent one drink back twice because the soda had not bubbles. They were great about comping the drink and letting us substitute Perrier water. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we had gifts, raincoats and purses. Our table was too small to hold all of our stuff. We had to check our coats to even have a chance of fitting in the booth. The food was very good too. In addition to the menu, there were a number of specials-fresh fishes. We liked the crab dip appetizer. The key lime pie was yummy. The tables are set up so that you can carry on a conversation without shouting. We had to have some one unlock the closet to get out coats as we were on of the last to leave. We would go back again.

It was packed! We requested a window table for 5 and when we were only a party of 4 we were seated at a table with one chair in the main walk way. Squeezed between booths and other tables. I think it would be a nicer experience if they eliminated a few tables. The food is always good, The specials fresh and the service is great! The noise was deafening. We were in the middle of the restaurant and tables on the perimeter are often quieter. Its hard to hear everyone at the table.
The staff is attentive and helpful.

Nice place for dinner at the SFO airport. It is a convenient location and was a 9.00 uber ride from the Marriott. Food was good as was the service. There were no negatives at all. We will go back.

We have a good dinner, but services was ok, wayyy to slow!! Our wine glasses were dirty! And food took a long time.
I can tell our waitress was busy with a big party! She was nice! But she only checked on us once in our entire dinner!! I still give her over 20% only because I'm a captain at the French laundry!! And I understand that sometimes we get busy!
Busser was very nice!
Bartender was really nice too, after my dinner, i went to have a glass of wine, to watch the end of. Basketball game!
I really like the food and hopefully next time I get better service!!

I ordered the scallops, they were hot and delicious, as usual. I was very dissapointed in the veggies and scalloped potatoes as they were cold.

we had the date night menu, we both had the blue cheese salad, yummy, I had the salmon and my husband had the oven roasted chicken dijon and asiago mashed potatoes, the salmon was good, but the chicken and potatoes were wonderful. We had the burnt cream for dessert and a bottle of white wine. Our server David was awesome. He was attentive and friendly. His delivery of our salads, entrees and dessert all spaced out perfectly. A good server really makes your going out to eat experience so much better. David took the time to warm up our burnt cream which is just the way I like it. Thank you for the great service and meal

Pros: Server was excellent; fast service; good variety of menu selections; nice bay view, adequate parking lot.
Just OK: food, presentation, ordinary vegies
Cons: no real cons
Kincaids is a small chain that is part of a larger restaurant chain. Everything about this popular place feels like what it is, an very efficiently run chain restaurant. We were there to celebrate my friend's and my birthday which fall within a couple of days of each other and, since both of us are carnivores at heart, picked Kincaids.
The menu has a nice selection of "American" steak house selections, including vegetarian items and some vegan items. The Ceasar Salad was best described as OK with an ordinary dressing. The prime rib was good, nicely trimmed, but not especially flavorful, even though the server said they had recently changed their meat supplier. I had to ask for a horseradish sauce, although there was a clump of horseradish placed on the meat, which I found unappetizing. The mashed potato was good, but the vegie was some diced zucchini clumped on the plate.
The complementary birthday creme bu laite was not too sweet.
Our server was very good, appearing to have more years of experience than the rest of the younger crew we saw working there. Food came quickly and plates were cleared in a timely manner.
Pricing was high for the prime rib and ala carte salad, even with the nice view.
Certainly I would return, but there are better places for the money in the area.

Service was great, Food was wonderful. The table was cramped for four individuals and seemed to be one of the smallest booths. Maybe there is some truth to the other reviews about open table guest given the worst seating.

The prime rib was excellent, as usual. The special medallions were good, but the crab cakes were really, really salty.
Service was wonderful!

Kincaid’s is a very pricy restaurant. Could only do it for a very special occasion, once in a blue moon.

Overall, this Kincaid has going down. Our server did not wait us finishing our appetites and salads to serve our main dishes. To be simple: appetities ----- good, Soup ------- too salty, Salads --------------- good, main dishes ------- dry and salty, and desserts ------- good.
I will not recommendate any of friends to go. It is over priced for inadequate services and no good food.

I've relied on Kincaid's Burlingame as my go-to place to meet friends and/or business associates. Love it. Great food choices always prepared to my liking

(with the NOTABLE exception of the "over stuffed pastrami" sandwich, which I consider a outright fraud. I ordered one a while back expecting "overstuffed with Pastrami." When I discovered it's contents were a modest amount of pastrami and a large amount of squished up french fries! I've had many pastrami sandwiches in NYC and elsewhere that had so much pastrami I couldn't eat it all.)

That said, I keep going back for the good things. The servers are friendly and helpful. The view is stunning. Get a window table if you can.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. I ordered the sirloin and mini lobster combination and felt it wasn’t worth the $60....didn’t like the vegetables and had the hostess bring mashed potatoes which were great. The atmosphere in this place is hard to beat anywhere and the food is generally very good. My neighbor ate there last week and raved about the steak and mini lobster. My wife had the prime rib and it was great. I will always go back for special occasions!

We had our 97 year old mother with us and were being seated at a table with a cold draft. When we asked for another table the hostess was very rude and told us to go back to the lobby and wait. When we complained to the manager he tried to be accommodating but never checked with us to see if everything was all right. The food was not up to what we have had in the past so we suspect they have a new chief. The table service was outstanding so not to blame the server. However, we won't be back. I also think that Open Table customers are treated less because they have to pay a premium for the reservation.

Our visit to Kincaid was great. The restaurant was lovely and also the bar seating is cozy. My only complaint is that my husband wears hearing aids and the noise level is very high. We had a 8:15 seating so the customers began to leave shortly after we were seated so it got quieter as the evening went along. Our guests were from Ireland and they really enjoyed the evening. The view is spectacular and the food very good. We go there pretty regularly so we will be back again shortly.

Was worried due to a few bad reviews. But our meals were great. Service excellent. Pricey, but not for San Francisco, but can order on budget. Wine prices are reasonable. We had a great evening! Great food! Hubby had seafood Louie. I had chefs special salad, plus double order of grilled prawns. Perfect!

My boyfriend and I drove a few hours to drop some friends off at SFO. We decided to make a date night of it, and chose this restaurant for the proximity to the airport coupled with its proximity to the water—as well as the menu looking tasty, of course. The food tasted lovely, but my main qualm was the price-to-food ratio. If you are willing to spend $30 a person (that's without appetizers or drinks), then this truly is a nice place to dine. The waiter was kindly, the fellow diners were lively, and the location beautiful.

Heard Kincaids was really noisy but turns out that during lunch time it was OK and probably because not too many people were there (11:45am on a Monday). The service was outstanding. (e.g. I love it when the server just brings a refill of my drink vs my having to ask for one). Parking is plentiful but the main attraction is the view of the Bay. Kincaids is just off the flight path of incoming aircraft to SFO and on a clear day (which it was when I was there) you can see San Francisco and Oakland. That the food, service, and noise levels were all good made it all the more worthwhile.
