   Great team (12) dinner. Food was anmazing as always. Table was ready upon arrival. Server was wonderful but wine didn’t arrive until after we were done with our meal. Desserts were fabulous. Will be back!

   This was our first time at Kincaid's although we have driven by it many times. We walked around at the small, but well kept, Robert E Woolley park first, which I highly recommend, and then headed over to the restaurant for my mother's Birthday. I indicated that it was her birthday when we made reservations. Upon arrival, we waited until a Window seat opened up (since we were only two people the wait was not too long) and then my mother was wished a Happy Birthday by the greeting staff before we headed to our seats. The restaurant is beautifully kept and you can see across the Bay and watch the many airplanes come in to SFO. Very nice. The waiter was highly attentive, without being overly so. Five stars for service. Five stars for ambience as well. For food, we ordered the coconut shrimp, which was tasty. The dipping sauce was especially delicious. We also ordered the lobster bisque, which was also very good, and came with bread that with some olive on it. Also very good. For dinner, my mom ordered the lobster, which was very tender and reasonably good. I ordered the fish and chips, which was good quality, with several yummy dipping options that included a mayonnaise/tartar sauce and ketchup. There were tons of fries. The fish and chips were a really good value. Desert, in this case, was creme brule, and it was high quality, with a birthday candle in the middle to help us celebrate the occasion. That was a nice touch and the creme brule was very good also. Overall, this is a really nice place to go for special occasions. It is a bit pricey for everyday meals if one gets the more expensive items on the menu, but, with that said, there are options such as burgers and fish and chips which are very reasonably priced for those who are more price-conscious. We had a really nice evening, and most importantly, my mom felt it was the right place to go for her birthday. I highly recommend people try Kincaid's out.

   The setting is lovely, but the interior could use some love. The veneers in several places around the seating areas are cracking and it just looks worn and tired. It’s a shame since the location right on the water is really nice. The food was mixed. The wine list was good. The salad was not noteworthy. My seafood was fine, but my wife’s steak was overcooked and not pleasant. For service, we were rushed to order quickly as soon as we were seated and then the only time he was really attentive was when pushing the Lawry’s dinner club membership. Overall, unfortunately not a great experience.

   Celebrating my birthday, we got there early and were hoping to go in the bar and have a cocktail, but the bar was closed to a private party! Very disappointed!! I fell in love with the restaurant again, the location is the best. The restaurant looked a little tired, needed carpet cleaning desperately. A fresh coat of paint would do wonders. We loved our waiter T-pop, he was great! The food was a little cold, but still delicious! Thank you, Diana

    Very good service - attentive and friendly. The special 3 course menu was very good - we had the salmon and prime rib.
