Kincaid's Bayhouse - Burlingame
Ambiance was nice. Food was perfect. Service was amazing. Six stars if it was possible!!!
It was a great experience.
Good wagyu beef. Fish & chip was crispy.
Lunch menu is better value.
Food was not quite as good as the last time I ate there
Food tasted good but was not presented well and sloppy. I was served pieces of scallops and risotto that was like mush.
Have been going to Kincaid's for 27 years, but Never have we gone for the time noted as "Early Bird" dinner until this past Sunday. We were so pleasantly surprised by the menu options, the portions & of course the price. I highly recommend should you like to eat early--try Kincaid's Early Bird dinner on Sunday. WOW!
The food and service was very good. The crab and artichoke dip is always a great way to start a meal. We had a seat with a great view of the bay and we could watch the planes come in to the airport. Kincaid's is a great spot for a special dinner.
Great food! Great service overall great experience!
I think this is our 3ed consecutive year having dinner here for Valentine's day, we enjoy the food and the time there. The service was really good as well. Thank you
For appetizers we ordered crab & artichoke dips with toast. I ordered lobster bisque which was creamy & delicious. Hubby ordered clam chowder which he enjoyed.
For main course I ordered filet mignon, medium well. Hubby ordered NY steak medium which didn’t have a price because it was lunch menu, so we figured a bit lower than dinner price. When the food arrived my meat was medium & hubby’s steak was medium well. We just decided to swap steak coz we didn’t want to wait. It came with mixed vegetables & mashed potatoes. When we got the bill, we were surprised that the steaks were expensive (dinner price). The service was slow, we had to ask for drink refills.
Food was okay.
Wagyu steak was unbelievable —!! Great place - food and drinks were spectacular
Had a reservation for 7:30PM. felt incredibly rushed. It looked like the portions were pre-made and brought to our table within 5minutes.
Had a pleasant dining. They should extend happy hour
I have dined here many times and each time it is consistently good. One of my favorite salads is the Caesar salad. I also enjoy the prime rib, the short ribs of beef and many of their seafood dishes. I dined this evening and the service was a little slow but I believe it was because my waiter had too many tables. I was also slightly disappointed that the vegetables that were served on my plate were not very hot. However they were really excellent and not worth the trouble to send them back. Normally I buy a glass of wine but tonight had an ice tea and their brewed tea is terrific. Finally let me just close by saying how happy I am that this restaurant is now part of the Landry chain.
Absolutely the worst meal I have had from this place and also in comparison to other Open Table restaurants. Terrible food!! Filthy windows - one comes here for the bay views. I will not come back!!
Went for my husband’s birthday. Said that in the reservation and told our server. Wasn’t acknowledged in any way. Our server paid all is attention to another table. We had to ask for a steak knife. We asked for our wine to be decanted twice. We poured our wine all evening. Our meal came and our salad plates were still on the table. Bill arrived and there it sat ready to pay, we walked it up to the front. When you fork out a couple hundred bucks for a birthday dinner I expect great service!
Everything was great.
Enjoyable lunch for three on Friday. We had fish and chips, prime rib dip sandwich and a seafood salad. All were very good. Only complaint for me was the tartar sauce, which appeared to be homemade with artichokes in it. Prefer a more traditional tartar sauce. Also my dad had to scrape some of the horseradish of his sandwich bread as it was too strong for him. Bottomless Arnold Palmer's were great, and the view of the Bay and the planes flying in was really nice. The large glass windows made the room cold however. Overall, we had a really enjoyable meal.
My friend and I had a delicious lunch, but better even than that was the delightful server. How pleasant it was to receive a genuine smile each time she came to the table.
Thanks so much!
10 years work anniversary.
Like always, service and food were excellent.
The experience at Kincaid’s have been changing over the years but unfortunately on a negative way. Sincerely don’t know if I will ever be back...
Hostess was very nice and we were seated very quickly. Waitress was very friendly & attentive. The only issue I had with the dining experience was that the food did not arrive hot the way I think it should of been and the manhattan was not made properly.
The Prime rib had a different taste from the last time we were there. It had a rosemary flavor which I liked, but my husband was disappointed with the new flavor. Overall, we were satisfied with the meal.....the bread was absolutely amazing & the Tomahawk Pork Chop is to die for!
Restaurant area was very nice, service was good and friendly. Bar area could definitely need a spiffing up. Clean the mirror behind the bar would be a good start.
The entire experience was amazing. We came here for our 9 year anniversary and the waiter we had was very gracious and extremely on top of everything. The food was perfect and came out quickly, far faster than I would have expected. As a courtesy for our celebration they even comped us a free desert as well, which we were not expecting at all, and was the cherry on top of a wonderful night. Will absolutely be coming back.
Good customer service. The view was great and. The service good. Very busy that night.
Tomahawk Pork chop was awesome!
Server suggested it and she was right on the money. Excellent service staff as well.
The food was delicious and we were brought right to our table with no wait. The waiter however can use some improvements. We were celebrating our parents 40th anniversary and he keeps saying birthday which to me means he was not listening at all. His service was not horrible but was not great for a expensive dinner. I expected more and a little more polite and professionalism which I did not feel we have at all. We will come back for the food but hopefully not to the save waiter again.
The Bar was closed for a private party, I arrived 30 minutes prior to my reservation, and they were non willing to seat me early. There is only a small area to stand to wait for a seat in the dining room. Food was fine, service was slow.
Just a nice place to have good food and watch the plains. So bright and very relaxing. Terrific staff.
Great views, decent food, brined pork chops were really salty. Fish filet portions were skimpy.
Great spot and not too busy at lunch time
Waiter was great asking about allergies and my colleague has an allergy to onion and he has the chef come out to make confirm items or a dish he could make. Service was great!
Great time! Celebrating yet another birthday - Our server was awesome (Joanna) - Great recommendations and follow-up. I’m trying to just go there on special occasions but I could, without a doubt, dine there more often! Remains my favorite spot on the Peninsula! Excellent food, excellent service, gorgeous views, GREAT wine! 10 stars!!
Wonderful ambience, great food and good service. Our service was good and our server was attentive.
We were seated at a 4 place table. The host took the two place setting away from in front of us, leaving it to the customer to slide two settings from in front of the two vacant chairs next to us. At these prices you would think staff would be better trained. The waiter was very good at his job...he deserved our tip. However, we ordered one appetizer, two soups, and drinks. He bought drinks right away, and brought the rest at the same time. Both soups were poor. The lobster bisque was mostly cream and the French Onion soup had so much cheese on top of the bread I removed it with my fork....looked like string cheese. We had no desire for an entree after that.
We have been coming for years and feel the choices, service and value have deteriorated. Sign on the window saying they were owned now by a big corporation. Maybe that explains it.
The good: nice view
- food was pretty lousy. Calamari came out cold. My short ribs were way over salted and wide chef Louie salad was “cheap”. For a $35 salad it was super disappointing to see wilted iceberg lettuce.
- service was lousy at best. Server wasn’t competent, seemed impatient and didn’t see to care to answer any questions about drinks, specials or anything.
Feels like a gigantic ripoff of a business meal that I paid about $350 for 6 individuals for
Service was very good, food was ok.
We were seated at a window table and there was a very cold draft from the window and the booth backspring was broken. We were moved to another table with no draft.
Our cesar salads were served with brown lettuce, they brought a second time and it was still bad. Disappointing since lettuce is not expensive, how could they not see the lettuce was brown and serve it a second time? Makes you wonder what else is overlooked in the kitchen.
Our salmon and ahi main dishes were tasty and flavorful. The sauces were very sweet, so if you’re not into that consider to ask for it on the side. We were too full to even consider dessert.
Service was very good, food was ok.
Spotty service, large dining area with high ceiling - warehouse like. Does not feel warm and inviting.
