Another fantastic meal at Kincaid. I have several food allergies and our server, Holly, made excellent recommendations for me. The cioppino was incredible - all of the fish was perfectly cook and the tomato broth was rich and flavorful.
After a blah Alaskan cousine, this place is a find!!! Great food, great service and they do accommodate food allergies!! Go here you will not be disappointed.
Just outstanding! We went because all of the reviews were so good and it did not disappoint! The crab appetizer was delicious, the entrees ( shrimp and grits and rockfish) were outstanding and the mini creams brûlée was the perfect ending. Nice wine list and extremely attentive staff. We liked it so much we changed plans for later in the week so we could enjoy it again!! For the high quality and service the bill was reasonable. Don’t miss a chance to dine here.
Amazing as always. Dinner out with a few girls celebrating a birthday.
Great food and great service.
Best food in the State of Alaska. Consistently outstanding!
Outstanding meal. Had the Ling cod. prep and presentation were great. Have been in Alaska for 10 days and this was the best sea foo we had.Oysters were fresh ,crisp, tasty. Souflle for desert wad delicious. Waiter was very good
Kincaid Grill has an outstanding menu with friendly service. On every occasion that I've been to the restaurant for business meals or special events/occasions, I have never been disappointed. It's location is simple and unassuming, easily missed while driving to the airport, but if you know it's there and you have a hunger for excellent seafood or tastes that you won't find elsewhere in Anchorage, it's a must stop.
Date night out with my husband as we get closer to the due date of the arrival of our baby. Great food and service, the fresh baked bread was amazing! Only wish I could have paired some wine to go with it. Even though it’s in a strip mall it had beautiful views of the mountains.
My only suggestion is don’t make me ask again for another slice of bread before dinner
Kincaid’s is our go to best restaurant
The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding!
We celebrated our anniversary this evening. Lovely evening from start to finish. Elle was wonderful as our server. She really helped make the evening special. She's quite personable & professional. She gave great wine suggestions, paced our meal well, & was attentive without being constantly at the table. Well balanced. Her team of assistants were also kind & friendly.
The food was delicious. Husband enjoyed the rockfish special. The duck rillettes to start was good. Scallops were excellent. The chocolate soufflé & malasadas were so delicious!
Terrific evening & made for a delightful anniversary celebration. Thank you!
Service was great, Food was fantastic, the kitchen was slowwwwwwwwwww.
Good thing the food was so good to make up for the wait... I literally ate everything on my plate. (Beef short rib... so good)
Visiting. Anchorage for the first time and the Kincaid Grill was recommended as a good place for good food. Well it is a Great place with a Delicious dining experience from appetizer to desert.
Interesting location, but don’t let that fool you. Food was great, wine pairings suggested by the waitress were delicious, and overall had a wonderful evening.
This restaurant takes back-seat to NO comparable restaurants including Scottsdale AZ in the presentation of fine dining.
It was nothing short of spectacular, as usual :)
Great as always. We've been going here for many years and they never disappoint. One of our favorite restaurants in Anchorage.
The Kincaid Grill team made the birthday celebration extra special. Thank you for the great service!
One of our favorites places to enjoy an evening out. Fresh seafood is always great!
This was my first time eating at this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic! Incredible presentation and the flavors of everything paired so well together, nothing over-powering. The service was very good, also not over-powering, no hovering or constant "checking in", just polite and professional. This is a little neighborhood gem of a place and I highly recommend it. It is on the pricier side, but very worth it. We plan on returning soon.
My 2nd visit. Incredibly slow kitchen. One appetizer and one entree, 2 and 1/2 hours. Had to ask twice for wine list, bread that was going to be"right away" showed up 10 minuets later, my server chatting up another table for five minutes, never an explanation as to why the meal was so slow.
The food: oysters Casino style - soggy bread crumbs that overwhelmed the oyster and the bacon. Rack of lamb coated in garam masala; warm not hot, scant tasteless sauce, cold half raw baby carrot, cold tabouli the kitchen tried for "al dente" I guess, but it was starchy and raw tasting that masked the mint(?) that might have been in there.
It was not a good experience and one I won't chance having again. The food isn't that extraordinary to excuse exceptionally poor service.
As always the service was wonderful, Kim you ROCK! The food was stunning and delicious :)
Consistent, well presented and delicious food
Service and Food very good. The atmosphere was elegant and quiet.
This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I am glad that I decided to check-it-out. The service was great and the food was superb both in taste and presentation. The Cioppino was outstanding and the Roasted Oysters were very tasty. Excellent wine list. I plan to return soon.
Good variety for menu and wine list. Food matched the description.
We had a wonderful experience at Kincaid Grill, as always. My father had the full tasting menu, and I had the sablefish. Both of us were thrilled. Our server was delightful and we will be back soon. Thank you Chef Drew!
Our visit to Kincaid Grill this time was like many visits we have during the non-summer months: we were there for the Chef's Tasting Menu. Changed weekly, the Chef's Tasting Menu is a five-course prix menu with suggested/optional wine paring. We always take the suggested wine pairing, and I highly recommend that you do, too. The courses this week were fantastic, with a mushroom soup that really stood out as perhaps the best soup I have ever had. The rockfish was also exquisite, with a slightly blackened crusty exterior and a tender, juicy interior, surrounded by a medley of amazing flavors. The service, as always, was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. For experiencing the best that Anchorage has to offer for fine dining, this is the place.
Just amazing! Professional server who was very knowledgable about the food being served, and was very kind. Everything was very nicely paced. The environment was very romantic with low lighting. It was perfect for a date night!
Excellent, friendly service. Phenomenal food! The complimentary dessert for our anniversary was awesome.
Best in Anchorage. Perfect in every way.
It’s my neighborhood place..so lucky!
Had dinner with two good friends. Delicious food, wonderful service--thank you, Kim--gorgeous presentations. This is Anchorage's best, fine dining. Almost all of the seafood is Alaskan year-round; produce is Alaskan in-season. I have never had a meal here that was less than amazing.
Chef Johnson was absolutely amazing at working to accommodate my allergies. Every meal I have had at Kincaid is the most amazing and delicious food I have ever put in my mouth.
We were so impressed with the service and the food. Four of us who usually don't eat every thing on our plates ended up with nothing left on our plates. The meals were beautifully presented with wonderful flavors. Highly recommend Kincaid Grill.
Food was Superb cooked to my specification. Server was very attentive and the other support staff made sure our glasses were always filled with our beverages. Celebrated my B-day and got complimentary desserts...WOW! Loved the place and will most definitely go back.
As usual the service and food was excellent. Their wine cellar has some really great choices. We always enjoy our evening experience there.
I've traveled many places in the world, and this restaurant's food is comparable to the best cuisines I've enjoyed anywhere. Clearly the owner and chef (perhaps the same person) really care about the quality of the food and the service is impeccable. I was introduced to the restaurant a few years ago and whenever I'm in Anchorage I make it a point to go. You should too.
