Best in Anchorage. Perfect in every way.
It’s my neighborhood place..so lucky!
Had dinner with two good friends. Delicious food, wonderful service--thank you, Kim--gorgeous presentations. This is Anchorage's best, fine dining. Almost all of the seafood is Alaskan year-round; produce is Alaskan in-season. I have never had a meal here that was less than amazing.
Chef Johnson was absolutely amazing at working to accommodate my allergies. Every meal I have had at Kincaid is the most amazing and delicious food I have ever put in my mouth.
We were so impressed with the service and the food. Four of us who usually don't eat every thing on our plates ended up with nothing left on our plates. The meals were beautifully presented with wonderful flavors. Highly recommend Kincaid Grill.
Food was Superb cooked to my specification. Server was very attentive and the other support staff made sure our glasses were always filled with our beverages. Celebrated my B-day and got complimentary desserts...WOW! Loved the place and will most definitely go back.
As usual the service and food was excellent. Their wine cellar has some really great choices. We always enjoy our evening experience there.
I've traveled many places in the world, and this restaurant's food is comparable to the best cuisines I've enjoyed anywhere. Clearly the owner and chef (perhaps the same person) really care about the quality of the food and the service is impeccable. I was introduced to the restaurant a few years ago and whenever I'm in Anchorage I make it a point to go. You should too.
Neve leave unhappy! Pretty pricey but great for special occcasions.
Very friendly people and always great food
Great as always.
The flavors of every dish were delicious. Service was excellent. The lamb lollipops were outstanding.
Superb meal. Best food we’ve had in Anchorage in a long time. Nice and quiet.
Food and atmosphere was great. Good wine list. They need to spend some money to upgrade the tables and chairs though. Table was shaky.
Every time we make the plan to go to Kincaid Grill we are rewarded with great food and great service. They do not dissapoint.
Absolutely an AMAZING dinner with friends and associates. Yes, it is in a strip mall. Don't let that fool you. This restaurant obviously focuses on what is important and it more than offsets that fact they don't waste their money filling a landlords pocket in a fancy spot.
Ambience - quiet, clean, professional, and well appointed.
Service - spot on. Perfect timing on food, time for conversation, and spread between courses.
Food - Could not have been better. Each plate was hot, fresh, and delicious. The Seafood soup was to die for and the rest was right on with it. Try the Seafood soup. You will leave as full as a human should be after a good meal - but this place is NOT for those that like to loosen their belt after a meal.
In summary - I am now coming back, for any special occasion. Well done Kincaid Grill! 10/10!
Only note: Unless your kids are incredibly well behaved, and enjoy more adventurous food - leave the short ones at home with the sitter or pick somewhere else. This isn't the spot for kiddos. Glad we left ours with a sitter for the evening.
Excellent table service and the best short ribs we’ve ever had! We’ll be back!
The vegan meal I had was outstanding, my compliments to the Sous Chef!
Great food, service was just OK. I know this is not the best place for kids, but my sister was visiting from out of town and I really wanted to go back here for the occasion and the good seafood options. Unfortunately, the server made absolutely no effort to even address the fact that there were kids at the table. From not even giving them water or silverware, let alone giving them some drink options, they were completely ignored. We asked for bread to keep them busy and even though he said it was on its way, even the bread took forever. I feel like he avoided our table so he would not have to interact with the kids (even though they were really quite well behaved). The food was excellent, but the server could of tried to be a little accommodating.
We went for our anniversary. The appetizers were excellent. I had the lamb lollipops. The lamb was delicious-but spicy. They were at the top of my comfort zone. I had the Gumbo and it was the best thing of the night. I was disappointed with the pork chop. It was 2 inches thick and was tough. It took a lot of sawing to cut that baby up. It tasted fine, but was a lot of work.
We had free desert for our anniversary, which was a nice touch-except I had to ask for the coffee, which the waiter had forgotten.
The restaurant was pleasant and quiet. But it was a lot of food. I think next time I will have an appetizer and soup and call it a night.
It was amazing as always. They’re the best at working with my food allergies and I still get the yummiest meal ever
Awesome food and great service. Prices on the high side but great meal.
I love this place!! I honestly forget about it being across town and frankly that a a shame because it is truly a Gem every time we go!! Food, service, ambiance are always just perfect.
Top notch service. Great food. Great wine. We had 2 servers that were amazing
The food and service is excellent. It is my favorite place to have an excellent meal and you can talk with out having to yell to carry on a conversation. I would recommend this to everyone I no
Fantastic food and excellent service. We had a great time.
Food was fantastic, favors were very tasty, presentation was beautiful.
Had an absolute wonderful time. The service was spectacular and The food was amazing!
The food is always fantastic and the service top notch!
Valentines Day Prefix menu and wine pairing were excellent!
I've eaten many meals at Kincaid. The service is always great and usually the food is good. This time, not so much. Everything came to the table lukewarm, the soup, the scallops, the steak. The scallops were tough, not tender. I live in Homer and I have to drive 200 miles to get to Anchorage and I don't like wasting calories when I dine there. I eat at Kincaid so I won't. Not this time. It was really disappointing.
The dessert was great, but then their flourless chocolate cake is always killer.
Valentines Dinner was incredible.
The food was excellent and my kids were able to enjoy their meal without it being pizza of burgers.
Still one of the best, if not the best, fine dining experiences in Anchorage. We dine here about twice a year and always wonder why we don't dine at Kincaid Grill more often. The service is some of the best anywhere, as the servers know what is in all of the items on the menu and are really helpful with special diets (I have celiac disease and must eat gluten free). We keep trying different items on the menu and are blown away at how consistently great the food is! One of these days we are going to splurge and try their tasting menu with the recommended wine pairings.
Food was great as usual. Our server Kim was excellent. I didn’t care for my soup and she offered to bring me a different one. It was excellent. I never would have ordered it. Plus she only charged me for the one I ate.
Kim was our waitress. My wife had the short ribs and I had the Mahi Mahi. Delicious!
Everything was excellent, as usual
Best meal I’ve had in Anchorage... Ever. Very happy with the meal and the experience. Great food. Plan to be back again!
Perfect dinner from start to finish s'more dessert may be the perfect dessert. Alaskan scallops highly recommended.
