Excellent service and good was very good
My favorite restaurant in Anchorage. Terrific seafood, reasonably priced and the waitstaff are terrific.
This is by far my favorite restaurant in Anchorage. In all the years I’ve been eating there last night was my worst experience. My sister from California ordered two very nice bottles of wine for the table over the phone and that was done with Aaron, who did a fantastic job. We were seated and our server was aware it was a birthday celebration and immediately offered to bring out the wine. We had to ask for a bucket for the bottle of white. We ordered salads and entrees. The salads came timely. This is where the problems began. Our server did not check on our table for nearly one hour. No entrees and no help with pouring our wine. The only reason he came over is after I made a questioning face at him. He went to the kitchen and returned and said there was a firing problem in the kitchen. We waited for quite some time and finally the entrees came. Two were barely warm and one was just fine. We asked for the food to be boxed and left. The birthday person’s meal was taken off the bill which was appropriate for the situation. In the past year it’s been very trying for restaurants to have full staff and experienced staff. I have never seen this server there before. I feel some extra training should be extended to this server if he stays so you don’t alienate any of your strong fan base. It was disappointing. I feel now I’ll have to be that person who will only sit in certain servers sections which never really goes over well with the other servers. I know who has been there for years and I really like their service but everyone should be at the same level as it has been in years past.
Very friendly and professional service. Food was on point.
Equal in food quality and service to the finest restaurants in the country.
The food was amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavoring was perfectly complimentary.
Great food, great service, appropriate sized portions
One of Anchorages finest restaurants. The food, selection, service and ambiance rate right along with Jen's and Marx Brothers.
fantastic seafood and amazing vegetables. good service, too
Great seafood. Very good wait staff
Oysters outstanding, Clams superb. Waiter awesome.
Amazing Food!! Cant wait to go back. So so yummy!!!
Delicious food. We all had the salmon special yummy!
We really enjoyed everything about Kincaid Grill from the friendly staff to the inspired menu to the exceptional food.
The food and service were exceptional as usual. The lack of distancing after we began our meal was not appreciated. Had we known, we would have picked up our order as we have in the past, and celebrated or Anniversary at home.
The best food and service in Anchorage. The Miso glazed black cod is crave-worthy!! Never disappoints.
Food was amazing but the wait staff seem uneducated in basic etiquette. Two basic issues:
1. After ordering a VERY nice bottle of wine with our dinner, he never once offered to refill our glasses. He walked by the table multiple times to ask how the food was but ignored our empty glasses.
2. I had barely put my last bite in my mouth and he rushed over to remove my plate before my wife was done with her meal. Not sure why American restaurants feel that is proper service. Let the entire table finish their meals before removing plates.
Other thank this, the dinner was wonderful. Very unique plates and well prepared.
As good as Always!! My favorite Anchorage restaurant!
We had a very nice, sophisticated dinner. Although located in a strip mall, inside the decor hits a European theme. Good wine list, good food. We had wonderful lamb and a very nice cioppino seafood stew. We shared a generous poached pear salad. Service was pleasant.
Carol was awesome. Food was great.
Once again, the folks at Kincaid did a great job. Kim, our server, was outstanding. Food was excellent. We look forward to our next visit soon
Absolutely wonderful experience once again! Excellent service and the food was perfect! The first time we came they were out of the AK black cod, so we went earlier in the evening and it was exquisite!
An excellent experience. The only negative was my filet was undercooked. I asked for medium and it was served rare. I did not send it back, as I didn't consider the would be distraction worth interrupting the otherwise fantastic experience.
Outstanding except they didn’t have the black cod that I wanted.
This was the last place we ate during a 10 day trip to Alaska. While we had great food in several different restaurants, the Kincaid Grill was by far the best meal we had. Timing between courses was a little slow but it was very busy so we understood completely. The only bummer was that we didn’t have room for dessert. I highly recommend Kincaid Grill. It completely outshined the other 3 restaurants we ate at while in Anchorage.
Amazingly delicious food.. we got the cod, New York strip special, scallops.. love the tummy filling gumbo soup and the house bread.. highly recommend it to foodies! Thanks for the experience!
Great food; presentation was delightful. Service was attentive and very well trained.
Chef Drew is a master at creative fish cooking, he puts several elements together that are always amazing. We eat there once a week all summer, never disappoints!!!
Our server Mike was very helpful and accommodating with my allergies. The food was on point and so was the service.
Great food and service! Enjoy the specials as well as the favorites that are on the regular menu.
Great place for a special occasion. Highly recommend!
The food was great and the staff was very attentative.
One of Anchorage’s best restaurants. Appetizer, salad, entrees and dessert were all great.
Quiet atmosphere and great food! Highly recommended.
Stellar service and food. We so appreciate waitstaff who are not intrusive and who observe. The roasted oysters were top drawer. Delicious crab cakes. Halibut cut was exceptionally tender and quite large. Sides nicely complementary.
Fabulous food ,prepared obviously by a group of talented creative ,caring chefs and staff!
We’ll be back!
Kincaid Grill is our choice for dinner in Anchorage. Consistently excellent food, very good customer service, convenient location. Much nicer and better value than those "fancy" downtown restaurants.
Great find! Easy to make reservations on open table. Service is was great, very attentive and nice. Nice wine selection. Complementary bread was delicious only tried the potato rosemary but it was so soft and delicious had to have a second with my entree. Fresh oysters were okay, the sauce they dressed it with was a bit to chunky to pair with the oysters. For main course the scallops and steak were fantastic! Nice presentation. Finished it with a strawberry shortcake, the fresh whip cream was done nicely. I didn’t order the chocolate pot but it smelled and looked amazing. Recommend heading to the restaurant while visiting Anchorage.
No complaints. Great food, great service and comfortable atmosphere.
