My birthday with wife and my parents. Was wonderful quiet and warm experience. We even sat by a real fire that they kept tended.
By far one of the best date nights we’ve had in awhile. Food and service was excellent!
Delightful Phoenixville HS junior who assisted the waitress! Beet salad, best EVER!!! Coconut shrimp were awesome!!! It was my first visit, can't wait for our next visit!!!
A memorable Sunday brunch with family in an old inn with great food and service in a room out of the 18th century with a table next to a lit fireplace.
Great food and service. This place is one of our go-to spots. Always great.
Staff was incredibly accommodating to our request for a table where we were pitching a startup business product. Held off ordering until we were ready and kept the drinks filled. Incredible experience and highly recommend!
Been coming to Kimberton for 30 + years. If it wasn't really good, that number would be a whole lot smaller.
Great food! Server was very good, but additional waitresses would have been good. Very noisy table next to us.
This was at least our 5th visit over the last 15 years. Always good for a special occasion.
The food, service, and hospitality were excellent. The Brunch here is well known and respected in the region.
It was our 50th anniversary, and we went there because it was a special occasion date when we 1st met. It’s been years since we’ve been there, and wondered how it would be now. In a word: still excellent. The menu may have been updates a bit, but the quality of the food, the service, and the appearance of the Inn, which opened in 1785 or so is just as we remembered,.
Wonderful dinner and great place to celebrate our 50th anniversary!
we go there for their liver/bacon/ mashed potatoes. well prepared to your taste
This is the 4th time I have been to the kimberton inn and the service and food were great. Our waitress was attentive and helpful with suggestion for dinner.
Kimberton Inn always has great food and service. My wife and I go there multiple times a year and are never disappointed.
A perennial favorite w/ always good entrees and appetizers, and excellent atmosphere and small bar scene, along w/ fireplace. I was disappointed with the desserts this time, 'tho, 'cause they usually were always dependable, even excellent.
A very quaint restaurant with good service and good food. Nothing very adventurous here and the menu is not large, but the entrees are tasty and well presented and the prices are reasonable. Not a great place for handicapped diners (it's an old building with sudden steps and a steep second floor) but the staff will accommodate you any way they can.
We dined at the Kimberton Inn this past Saturday for our Valentine's Day dinner. The romantic, old-world ambiance can't be beat, and the food was spectacular. My husband had the filet, and I had the salmon - both were exceptional, as was the lobster bisque and shrimp cocktail. We can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend!
Was a great place celebrate a 97 year old birthday!
Food is always great.
Owner is great guy... staff was very attentive and helped make the event special.
Great food and service. One of our favorite restaurants.
Delightful and delicious as usual. Our go to family spot!
Outstanding service, drinks, food and atmosphere which was perfect for Valentine's Day dinner with my sweetheart. Jeff and his team are fantastic!
Kimberton Inn has always been my favorite place . However, for Valentines Day, I had my first disappointment. One thing was a table of 12 loud and happy people were very close to our table of two with an annoying passing around us and behind us trying to get around them as they stand around their table. They should have been in a more secluded place for them and us. My appetizer and salad was excellent. For whatever reason, my entree, woman, was served after her husband. When I received it it appeared it had been sitting under the lights to keep warm with my filet Mignon which was medium rare to well done. I sent it back and we waited to the point my husband had finished and I told them to forget it. They graciously gave us a partial credit and served us dessert. Very disappointed as we had expected the excellent service and food as we have had before. Very disappointed.
Sunday Brunch was very good although their appetizers didn't quite go well with breakfast items.
We have dined at the Kimberton Inn on many occasions. The food is very well prepared. The service from management to staff is outstanding. A superb dining experience.
This was our 4th visit to the Kimberton Inn. Even though it is a long drive from Lancaster, it is one of our very favorite fine dining establishments. Very highly recommend it. Go early for a drink at the bar then enjoy the excellent ssrvice and food in the dining room.
A classic in a world of trends! There is nothing like it.
We had a terrific time dining with friends. Food was delicious, service was great, and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves.
Excellent food, good variety, excellent service - - and nice ambience
The Best pork chop dinner EVER!
And the mashed sweet potatoes are to die for!
A neighborhood gem! Been going for many years and not once disappointed. Ambiance, staff, consistently excellent food..what more can we say? Oh yes...owner Jeff runs a tight ship at a one of a kind (and vanishing style) restaurant. Highly recommend!
Always, 1st Class. Service, food, and atmosphere. A little on the expensive side, but worth it.
Very nice evening. Great food and cocktails. Tap beer flat.
Very Expensive! Lobster tail was tiny for the price.
We have dined at the Kimberton Inn many times over the years. We have not been there in a while and decided to take our mom for her birthday dinner. It was fabulous. Sat in a cozy room with a fire in the fireplace. Food was amazing. Still a topknot restaurant after all these years.
We went to Kimberton Inn for my husband's birthday. It is one of our favorite spots for special occasions! The updated menu was fabulous, and the chef wrote a lovely "Happy Birthday" in chocolate on our dessert plate. We love coming here in the winter because of the fireplaces and cozy setting. There's not a bad seat in the house. Even though the restaurant is full and busy, we always manage to feel like it's just the two of us and our table isn't on top of the ones next to us. Very attentive service - the staff here is extremely dedicated, pleasant, and efficient. Cannot recommend enough - we love it here and will keep coming back! Next to try on our list is Sunday Brunch!
Kimberton Inn continues its notorious reputation of fine food & service. We were there recently for a birthday celebration with a table of ten. The owner, Jeff, is the epitome of professional service to his guests with a hands-on, "can't do enough", and VERY personal approach to the clientele. Thus, the venue has drawn many "regulars" over the years. The ambience is cozy fireside & candle-lit dining with numerous fireplaces in what is a charming historic Inn. It is particularly nice in the winter months. Their talented bartenders are experts with martinis and other specialty drinks. Recent expansion of the bar offers an improved layout, but the crowd is so intense (because it's so popular) that it is difficult to maneuver around on a typical Saturday night. Make reservations well in advance if you desire a weekend night! Live piano music adds to the cozy atmosphere. The food quality is outstanding & well presented, but portions are a bit small, leaving some diners craving a "second helping"...because it's so good. Many patrons dine right at the bar, but this adds to the crowd and hinders those just coming in for cocktails to find a seat. Nevertheless, if you are looking for fine service and good food, I highly recommend the Kimberton Inn! Perfect for special occasions or just a night to have a romantic dinner with your spouse or partner.
Always great food and presentation, Country atmosphere, and very good service have never been disappointed.
As usual we had a great experience and look forward to another one.
