For us, the Kimberton Inn is an old, special occasion, restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. If it were closer to our home, we would visit more often.

I've never had a bad meal at the Kimberton. I selfishly would like to keep this place to myself, but I can't help praising this gem!

The food is delicious but a little overpriced. Also, we visited during the summer and we had a few ants crawling on our table through out our meal along with some bugs crawling on the wall - kind of gross when you’re trying to eat. It made us feel like we were at an outside BBQ instead of a nice restaurant. Also, our family does not drink alcohol and we found it a little ridiculous that they charged for soda refills. There are a lot of nice restaurants in the area so while the food was very good, the ambiance needs some work.

Used to be a special place for special occasions but now that they are cutting the menu and cutting back on the amount of table side attention that you seem to be getting I would have to think twice about returning again for special events.

My friend Ann and I enjoyed a delightful shared birthday dinner and everything was spot on right; the people, the atmosphere, the food, the wine. Perfect. Hard to believe they’ve been serving people for over 200 years!

Kimberton was beautiful and service was amazing. It was beautiful sitting outside and the staff were wonderful. However three of us at our table of five had steak and they were all overdone. I ordered medium rare and mine came out well. Also the lobster and shrimps were rubbery, again just way over cooked. The flavor was good, things were seasoned well, just very disappointed with the execution.

The service here is always friendly and accommodating. The food is very good and consistent. The best shrimp cocktail. I usually get the ribeye and for not being a steakhouse, it is always very good. Great cocktail menu. My fave is the Blackberry Orange Cosmo. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I have eaten here many times and the food and service have been consistently excellent. Great choice for special occasion and everyday dining. Good wine list, beers, cocktails. Excellent meat and fish dishes, gluten free and vegetarian options. Will definitely be back

Great service, as always, including attention from the owner. The food was great, and plentiful, for the Sunday brunch. The Kimberton Inn is alway a first rate choice.

Another stellar time at The Kimberton Inn, everything was at its best.
The friendly & courteous staff, along with the pleasant dining-rooms/bar they have, always bookend the terrifically presented food they prepare for a enjoyably unforgettable experience.
Their level of expertise carries through all they do, whether having Sunday Brunch or an evening dinner with them.

The evening started with creative cocktails at the bar, followed by a delicious meal in the candle-lit dining room. The mussel appetizer was savory, filled with tomatoes, capers, onions and broth — great for dipping the warm rolls into. My companion’s duck rolls were crisp and satisfying — with veggies complementing the savory duck. The filet and ribeye, with added lobster tails, were both perfectly cooked to order and the Demi-glacé was subtle and flavorful. A lemon-lime sorbet was the perfect sweet/sour ending to a delightful meal.

The owner checked on us and the other diners and his care and attention to detail are obvious— he wants everyone to have a satisfying experience— and we did!

The Sunday Brunch is very enjoyable. The fresh squeezed orange juice is the best I have had. The selections of appetizer and entrees are a good variety to satisfy anyone's taste. The waitress, Rachel, was very attentive and the bus person kept our beverages filled and removed plates very appropriately.

We love Kimberton Inn. It is a special treat for us to go to dinner there. I was slightly disappointed this visit the lamb that I raved about to my son was not quite as memorable. Mine was a little fatty and both were overlooked. We ordered as the chef suggested which the waitress assured was medium rare. It was not
My husband had the lobster dish which he thought was excellent
We ordered wine by the glass which was not a full bodied wine like the waitress suggested. A little disappointing
We will go back it is a delightful place to dine

The Kimberton is always a class act. We have been going for years and have never been disappointed. The ambience is cozy and lovely in a very historic setting. The food is delicious and the service is sophisticated. Nobody ever says, “Are you still working on that?”

My business group of five had a solid meal at the Kimberton Inn. The service was quite good, and the food was tasty, but not particularly inventive or interesting. I would not describe the Kimberton Inn as a "foodie destination", but rather a historic and quaint inn that offers nice ambience and above average food.

My daughter and I went for Mother’s Day, the coconut shrimp and fresh mozzarella were amazing along with the filet mignon with mashed potatoes. One of the best Mother’s Day I had, however I wish the server would have addressed Mother’s Day. Her bus girl did so that made up for her lack of attention to the day..

My favorites were the pork rolls with great sauce, the best best salad with many wonderful textures, and my hot fudge sundae with Belgian chocolate ice cream. There are few places that deliver it warm and they do here with the best nuts ever!

We had been wanting to bring our friends to the Kimberton Inn for some time now and were finally able to do so. Our friends were very much impressed with their dining experience. Everything was great from the initial greetings, drinks, dinner and dessert. The Kimberton Inn remains as the best fine dining establishment in the area.

Tonight was our first visit to the inn. Everything was amazing. We were greeted at the host station by name and immediately seated based on our reservation time.
The food arrived quickly and it was delicious! High recommend the crab cake! The service was on point. I would call out our server but I don't recall her saying her name. I guess I should have asked. Regardless, all was good.
We will definitely visit again!
