Kimberton Inn
Kimberton is always consistently excellent from start to finish. The menu is diverse, very well prepared, and beautifully presented. Service was as always excellent. The atmosphere of this historic Inn makes it one of my favorites in our area.
We got a gift certificate for dinner a few months ago. We tried to book around the holidays but had no luck getting a table. We finally booked a reservation and it was worth the wait. The lamb chops and duck were delicious. The table setting and the wood burning fireplaces were elegant. The old bar and wood work is charming. Service was impeccable. There is plenty of free parking. It was a 5 star experience that I would highly recommend.
Birthday Celebration !!!
Spoke with owner and told him how well his staff was with our service, we were up stairs so help had a lot of running up and down to give all good service . Meal out standing we are married 56 years and have been going couple times a year, even been their for a couple weddings
Loved the cozy warm atmosphere with the fireplace going . And the food was awesome.
This restaurant has been a favorite of our for many years. Tonight, my wife and I enjoyed a lovely Valentine's dinner. The food is always very good and the experience is always very special. Service is excellent, both friendly and professional. It's always an extra bonus to be here in the winter, when the fireplaces are going. We had a wonderful time!
Great food, atmosphere and service. Excellent drink selection. Live piano music throughout the building and the smell of a wood burning fireplace was the icing on the cake. Waitstaff was very attentive and unobtrusive.
This is a nice place for a fancy night out, great food and drinks, however it is pricey for what you get.
They could definitely up their dessert game, a Hot fudge sunday for $8.50 is a little ridiculous, and the portions of what you get for what you pay is very small. For the amount of money and the amount of food I would rather go to Seven Stars inn. Good for an older crowd, we are in our mid 30's and were some of the younger customers there on a Saturday night.
Great service and food! We truly enjoy dining at the Kimberton Inn.
We had a wonderful time for anniversary dinner
The Kimberton Inn has become our go-to date night destination. I highly recommend it.
Very accommodating staff. As we waited at the bar for our table, the bartender was very attentive and checked on our table twice ( of his own valuation). The food was terrific, the service was terrific and the atmosphere was out standing. Of course, this is what we have come to expect from the Kimberton Inn.
Last minute idea, was thoroughly enjoyed by my wife and I. Have been in several times and never disappointed. Next visit will be for a Brunch very soon. Thank you to the entire staff and chef.
Excellent food, great service!
The atmosphere was perfect on a cold evening. We were by the fire with candle light and romantic live music! The performers were excellent .
Our entrees and first and second courses were outstanding with yummy sauces. Dessert divine. We loved it all. A perfect valentines dinner. Such a wide choice too
There was some confusion by me on what they call, "High Top" seating which meant high chairs in the bar. I did not know what it meant but the owner was very helpful and replaced the "high tops" with a normal table in view of a disability. Great and friendly response ...much appreciated...
Awesome tuna special. Service and food where everything I have come to expect from Kimberton Inn. Great Experience
Kimberton Inn is one of our favorite places to dine. The service is perfect. We often have Rachel as our waitress. She is the best. The cocktails are perfect. The entrees are consistently delicious!
As per my request, I was seated at a table for two in my preferred location. The staff was courteous, and helpful, the food was prepared as per request, and was excellent!
Sunday brunch date as we have not been there since thanksgiving day. Very good brunch with lots of seasonal selections. All items were executed well and we very much enjoyed sitting by the fire! Always a great time at the Kimberton Inn!
We love the atmosphere and especially love to hear the live music. Staff & food is always very good. This weekend we had a very noisy table near us but that is rare.
Great food and atmosphere. We really enjoyed our evening.
Jeff has done a great job running this great place.
The staff were wonderful, food was delicious, the environment was comfortable and relaxing, and they treated our anniversary truly as a special occasion.
We very much enjoyed our experience at the Inn. The menu is more on the traditional side, but very well prepared and delicious. We ordered the duck and frenched chicken breast entrees along with mushroom risotto and scallop appetizers. All were good, if slightly under seasoned/ we understand that can be a conscious choice for the chef to make these days based on clientele preferences. Servers were pleasant and skilled in some niceties that many restaurants miss these days. And the nearby fireplace was lovely on a cold night. We will certainly go again.
We had such a wonderful experience! The drinks, food, and dessert were amazing. I want to go back ASAP!
Food, service, etc. were fine. I was disappointed that no one was aware of the arrangements for a special birthday dessert for my wife that I had made by phone.
Always wonderful food and service
As always, fabulous meals! The “world’s best” salad, is just that! I crave it’s deliciousness!
I have to share...I am NOT a big fan of Brussel Sprouts...
BUT, how they are prepared at The Kimberton Inn? Incredible. Truly incredible. Roasted with Balsamic Vinegar and some other magical ingredients...just incredible.
Our wait staff was great! Isabel was sweet and Julia was so funny...it was a wonderful experience, all around...
Kimberton remains one of our favorite restaurants. We can always count on great wine, good food, and efficient, friendly service. Kudos to Jeff and Jason and the entire staff!
We always enjoy Kimberton but on
This Wednesday evening it was
Not what we have experienced
In the past.
Seems like they need more help!
We walked in and there was nobody
To take our coats. Everyone was busy
Working the dining room
When we sat down we waited
For approx 20 minutes to
Have someone take our order.
Again everyone was very busy
I had to ask for more water
That has never happened before
When we received our bread
Again it was 30 minutes
And the quantity of bread was
Something you would give 3rd graders
Food was good. Our waitress was nice again
Busy going in many directions
We were asked when making our reservation if it was a special event. We told them a birthday but nobody every mention Ed
It.
Nice evening but also disappointing
In many ways
Utterly reliable. Excellent food preparation, friendly, knowledgeable service. Warm atmosphere in rooms with a turn-of-the-(19th)-century ambience.
First time here for brunch-won’t be our last! Great selection to choose from. Service was great and the food even better.
I haven't been to the Kimberton Inn for a while. It was really, really great. Excellent service, excellent food, reservation and table waiting for us, and everyone was friendly, cordial, but let us alone to dine for as long as we wished. It's great for a date, special occasion, anything really. Just a super place and will definitely return!
Overall experience was satisfactory, however, I do have an issue with the mashed potatoes. They were certainly not "home-made" and were cold when served. Apparently the food was not immediately served when ready. Service people were friendly and efficient.
One of our favorites for years. Food and service always excellent.
Great food and great service. Highly recommended. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience.
We really enjoyed the Great live piano and bass music!
I've been to the Kimberton inn more times that I can count. Its a great spot for a special night out with friends and/or family. Also a great experience if you can find a spot at the bar. This time I was a little disappointed with portion size of both apps I'm not someone who typically leaves a restaurant hungry, but after a salad, entrée I'm used to that, but I'm not sure the two older women were excited to be seated near us. We weren't loud, but having normal conversation in a quiet dining room. In the future I would ask to be seated in a more private area of the room, to avoid disrupting those eating in silence.
We having been going to the Kimberton Inn for over 20 years. Wedding reception was there. Have celebrated milestones, big and small there. Jeff and his staff never disappoint!
