Second time back this year! Service was outstanding!! Food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious as usual. Would highly recommend.
Always a favorite spot for a quiet, delicious dinner.
Kimberton is very nice and nostalgic! The food was excellent, the staff very professional. Definitely would go back.
An anniversary dinner…one of many there over the years. Kimberton Inn is always perfection!
Only reservation available was a high-top table in the bar area, which may have been a little bit noisier than the dining room, but overall the ambience was terrific with pianist playing in the background. Food was very nice and service perfect. We enjoyed it very much and will go back again soon.
Great Thanksgiving dinner!
Thanks to the staff for there excellent service!
We had Thanksgiving turkey dinner ($36 ea) which was excellent and with some to take home.
We arrived early on purpose to have a cocktail and both bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable.
The wine list has something for everyone and the stemware is excellent.
Less than excellent is the flatware which is more compatible with a diner than the Kimberton Inn and should be upgraded.
Well recommended for fine dining.
Wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner! Thank you for delicious meal.
Always good and lovely. We are lucky to have so many beautiful inns in the area. Thanksgiving is always so nice.
We hadn’t been here for years. We had forgotten how beautiful the rooms are from the furniture and fireplaces to the outstanding holiday decorations. The food was perfect for Thanksgiving. We ordered the turkey which was a great sampling of all the holiday favorites. The pumpkin pie was one of the best I have eaten in years. Drinks were mixed well. The entire experience was great. My husband is handicapped. He has a lot of problems walking. One of the wait staff came to the bar door to help him in. After the meal, the owner of the restaurant came to escort him to the car. What a delight to be at Kimberton for Thanksgiving this year!!
Jeff and the whole Kimberton Inn team executed all aspects of the dinning experience to perfection: from greeting to coffee service. And of course the restaurant is festively decorated for the holiday season.
Service, drinks, food, ambience were all quite lovely.
A cozy intimate and historic inn with low ceilings, fireplaces and candlelight. Very good service and excellent cocktails! The food was quite rich, and maybe a little salty for our taste but we enjoyed our meal very much and would return again!
Other than our table being at the base of the staircase in a high traffic area we had a very nice experience. All staff were very pleasant and accommodating and our meal was delicious.
Amazing it’s a great intimate restaurant
Excellent dinner. Dessert was a smidge overcooked but still good. Had a l’intertitre. Service was excellent.
Excellent dinner! Romantic, rustic, quiet ambiance, with awesome food and service!
This place is great, and they spaced the tables out much more than pre-pandemic (nicely done).
Birthday celebration! I always enjoy the dining experience at the Kimberton Inn.
100 percent amazing! We have found our new go-to special night place! Service was impeccable, not hovering but perfectly attentive. And the food was excellent!! We shared lobster bisque (rich, well favored, good amount of lobster) and golden beet salad (just perfect). We heard that someone said portions were small...that person is insane. Each plate was WELL portioned and just simply excellent in flavor,, presentation and execution. My wife LOVED the scallops and shrimp (subbed mashed for the fingerling potatoes), and my salmon was spot on. Rachel provided perfect service, and the owner (jeff) popped by the table and was just the right amount of welcoming host. We LOVE this place and will be back regularly!
We celebrated our anniversary at Kimberton Inn in Nov 2021 which was our first dinner out since Valentines Day 2020 due to Covid. Service was attentive, the food was excellent - especially the striped bass which was done to perfection. And our dessert came out with Happy Anniversary written on the plate in chocolate. We've been to the Inn many times and always come away pleased.
My appetizer salad was delicious and special. Husband's Caesar was pretty "blah", no real flavor of classic ingredients. My liver was pretty thin and chewy and I was not fond of having the liver, onions and bacon all on top of the potatoes which turned to mush from the liquid. Husband had shrimp and potatoes which didn't have any sort of concept. Shrimp was good and generous. They were out of apple crisp and the key lime pie substitute was nothing special. My husband ordered coffee that never come.
Disappointing considering recent rave reviews.
everything was excellent. need to go there more often
We celebrated our 47th anniversary with an amazing dinner at the Kimberton Inn. The food, the service, and the ambiance were all exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will return for other special occasions.
Great restaurant . Coming there for 30 + years
Unfortunately getting there at night is very stressful drive. Narrow unlit windy roads.
My husband and I came here for my birthday dinner. It was a nice, quiet, cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The food was incredible. I had the crab cake and he had duck. Wine was also delicious. Can’t go wrong with this place. It was our second time here and we will be coming back for more.
Jeff and his team execute all aspects in an excellent manner on a consistent basis. . Service, food and staff are top notch.
Great easy listening entertainment on Friday and Saturday.
We had a very pleasant experience. Dinner was delicious
Great all around experience. They paid attention to everything. Accidentally dropped my napkin on the floor and the owner was there to replace it in a moment. Food marvelous, drinks delicious, ambiance lovely, service on point.
Service, ambiance and food are outstanding! The staff helped make my wife’s birthday dinner a very special occasion.
Food was delicious! Beet salad was really tasty. My husband got the crab cake and he loved it. I had linguine pomodoro and it was perfect! The fried mozzarella melted in my mouth. So good!
Charming and historic country inn with an excellent menu. Every dish we had--soup, salad, main course--was prepared to perfection. Highly recommended for a special night out.
Wonderful place. The food was excellent. I have Celiac disease and they have many gluten free options and the Staff is very informative about allergies. My wife loved her shrimp & scallops. And the Teamwork of the Staff was exceptional. We will be visiting more often
Great ambience, delicious food. Nice bar for a before dinner cocktail, or for eating. Ideal place for a romantic evening.
The food was delicious, the courses were brought out at the perfect times, the drinks were always full, the servers were helpful and courteous. We were celebrating our Anniversary and without prompting they added a little something extra to our meal.
1st time eating here with my wife. We both loved it and service was great. Will be back again.
We went here for our anniversary and it was so special. The food, service, and ambience were amazing. The historical setting and pace of the meals gave our evening a most enjoyable experience. So glad we chose this place to celebrate. They were very accommodating to us.
