Jeff and his team at the Kimberton Inn never disappoint! We can always count on great food with great ambience and great service. Go soon and often!
Our server was attentive and the wine server was so knowledgeable and helped us pick an amazing wine.
The service and food was outstanding! Went for our Anniversary, was what we were looking for, for a romantic evening. Will definitely come back.
Very nice place and food was good. Service is overkill, waiter was a bit over attentive and getting to be annoying LOL..
But great evening out with friends
We have always had great experiences at Kimberton. Excellent wine list including by the glass, great food with a variety of options, attentive service and pleasant ambiance.
We enjoyed a really lovely meal at the Kimberton Inn. We started with drinks and the scallop soup. For the entree we chose the liver and the lamb chops, both were extremely well cooked and seasoned. It was our first time trying calf liver and we both enjoyed the flavour and textures. Thanks for a wonderful meal.
We love the Kimberton Inn. Waite staff is top notch. Quality of the meal is outstanding and delicious. We will return soon. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
An evening at Kimberton Inn is truly a wonderful! It is one of our favorite places to dine. The owner and staff truly take appreciate their patrons with the great service and food.
It was my wife’s birthday and the entire meal was perfect. She especially enjoyed the Linzer Torte
We have been dining at Kimberton for over 41 years. The experience in all respects has been consistently great that entire time. Wish we could go once a week!
The stars say it all
It was our 28th wedding anniversary and it was perfect!
We dined here for our anniversary and it was superb. This is not your modern, nouveau ,eclectic dining experience, rather, an excellent continental, classic tavern-esque style with high quality fare...top grade meats, game, poultry and fish and fresh, creative ingredients. Theresa, our server, was excellent. Friendly, authentic and very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She’s worked there for something like 30 years! Everyone we encountered was friendly, relaxed and helpful! The owner spent time with us to offer wine suggestions. We felt pampered and relaxed not to mentioned completely thrilled with what we ordered. (Australian lamb chops and Duck) a good old fashioned hot fudge sundae with homemade fudge sauce was just what we needed to top it all off! Haven’t had that in forever! Take a drive to sleepy Kimbertown and visit this gem!
Our first meal at our favorite restaurant since we were out of town for 8 months quarantined in Arizona. So happy we can hug our favorite people again❤️❤️
My wife and I dined at the Kimberton Inn for the first time for our Anniversary. Our friends recommend The Inn and we are very happy with the whole experience.
We are definitely going to be returning with the Kimberton Inn in the near future.
Thank you to all the staff for a great Anniversary dining experience.
Overall......it was a very good experience EXCEPT a party of eight behind us were so boisterous/noisy....it ruined the atmosphere and ambience.....I couldn't hear people, in normal co0nversation, at my own table. I know its a one time thing so we will be back. Do wish, though, that there was a way for staff to have calmed them down without impinging on their good time.
Great food. Friendly, professional staff. We come here frequently and it’s always a pleasure.
Eating at Kimberton Inn is always excellent. We ate on the enclosed porch, which was lovely. The food was superb, as always. Service was excellent. I can't think of any way it could have been better.
Always a lovely experience.
Food was excellent and our server Sean was one of the best servers we have ever experienced!
Very pleasant dining rooms. Excellent service - warm, attentive, very professional. Love the weekend piano player. The food is dependably good, but unfortunately it's predictable. The menu needs updating or the standard items, such as filet mignon and lamb chops, would benefit from updating their preparations. Even adding a traditional Bernaise sauce to the filet would make it more interesting.
We'll certainly be back. There is so much about this restaurant that we love, but we'd definitely like to see some "surprises" on the menu.
We had a blast. The waiter was the nicest guy with a great sense of humor. I love not being rushed in and out. Very beautiful experience dining.
Drinks very expensive- simple cocktail for me ( $17) and husband’s margarita ( $14). Have to pay for bread basket ( $4.50). Outside dining- waitress spent time talking- at length- to customers who were friends, we had to flag down waitstaff for service. Not impressed at all, will be unlikely to return
Great service and great food!!! We will be back again!!!
Very nice evening out for our anniversary, Rated moderate for noise, because there was a wedding and an awesome piano player, all good noise! Food was delicious, best kept secret in Kimberton, nice getaway from Reading suburbs-
Beautiful Inn, delicious food, great service.
Jeff and his team continue to provide impeccable service and excellent food during these unusual times that have spurred change and innovation.
Food selection was good and there were ample options for both Gluten free and Vegan that were very good.
Perfect place for a first date when two people are looking forward to good conversation in a quiet atmosphere. Great food, great service!
We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and they acknowledged the celebration during our dessert course, which was thoughtful. We requested a secluded table which was granted. The service was prompt, personal and our glasses were always full. The food was excellent, especially the potato leek soup and lobster bisque. I enjoyed the filet, which was grilled perfectly, while my husband had the Maryland crab cake. The desserts were wonderful-as I have a fine dining background specializing in pastry, I am hard to wow. We are already planning a return trip because our experience was exactly as we hoped it would be. Special thanks to our servers, Sean and Katie and to the entire kitchen crew! You rock.
Always a wonderful dining experience.
So glad to be able to get back to our favorite place after such a long time
Good to see friends again and enjoy wonderful food
Very nice ambiance with friendly staff: portions perfect
Mother’s Day dinner was great!
It is always a pleasure to dine at the Kimberton Inn. The food is incredibly well prepared and plated. The cabbage slaw I had with my crab cake had just the perfect dressing. Wine selections are great! The service probably needs to be rated a 6 on a 5 point scale.
Delicious food! Attentive wait staff. Pleasant environment.
What a beautiful place! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was lovely. It was a perfect place to celebrate Mothers' Day, but I would go back anytime. I would absolutely recommend the Kimberton Inn.
