Fantastic meal from start to finish. The inn is charming, historic and a great setting for a dinner. We ate at a high top in the bar and the live jazz was really another bonus to an already quaint setting for a special occasion. The food was also top notch. My wife enjoyed the hangar steak and I had the crab cake- both were phenomenal. Also, it really is one of the best salads you will eat. 👍🏼👍🏼
We went to the Kimberton Inn for our Anniversary. The food was cooked perfectly and the staff was super nice and attentive. T (Theresa) and Rachel were our severs and they were awesome! We will definitely be going back!
Outstanding food. FLAWLESS service. Cozy quiet and kind atmosphere. Great wine suggestion from Sean (bartender) for a glass to pair with dinner. Personal attention from the owner. Really a perfect experience.
Kimberton Inn is a gem within driving range of the Main Line. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner with another couple. Food was great and timing of our meal perfect. We were able to sit outside with heat lamps and cannot wait to go back.
Myself and my wife were in town for business over the weekend. I researched local restaurants and was so happy we found the Kimberton Inn. Everything from the ambiance to the food and of course the service was excellent.
My wife ordered as the Kimberton Inn puts it, “The Best Salad You Will ever Have.” It was really excellent. For dinner, my wife had the crab cake and I had the striped bass. The crab cake, not surprisingly had very little filler and was mostly all crab. The striped bass was cooked perfectly with crispy skin on the outside and deliciously moist and tasty underneath.
If I had one thing to nit pick it would be that we were seared in the bar which had amazing ambiance, however on Friday and Saturday they do have a pianist and cellist there. Do not get me wrong, they were excellent. We just happened to be seated at a table right next so where they were playing. We had to raise our voices a bit to hear each other.
5 star all the way!!!!!!
My Husband and I celebrated our 10 yr Anniversary here last night.
The whole dinning experience was great starting with being greeted at the door by Jeff, the owner. My husband had the Hanger Steak which was sooo tender and he loved it. I had the 6oz Steak Fillet which done to perfection! We had the Clam Chowder soup which had nice sized clams in it, smoked applewood bacon and was so delicious. Nice extensive wine list.
The Kimberton Inn provides a relaxing, cozy Old Inn atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit!
This was our first time to the Kimberton Inn, celebrating our 10th anniversary. We found the food selection to be excellent, especially since I have celiacs, and my choices are more limited. We both enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere was lively, and we both enjoyed the music being played on the piano. We would both definitely come here again and would recommend it to others.
Every part of the experience was great…
Quint and friendly environment. Excellent dinner choice. service is terrific and profesional. great place to eat as a quiet evening out, or with friends.
The Kimberton Inn delivers classic inn vibes with its decor and atmosphere, and satisfies modern tastes with its delicious menu. The service is attentive but not overbearing. The bar area is cozy and often has a pianist providing a delightful soundtrack for your evening. There is now more outdoor seating, although as the weather gets colder you'll want to be in the warm comfort of the Colonial-era building's interior.
Great food! Had the mussels as an appetizer and they were great! Duck confit and fried chicken dinner was very good!
As always, a great place for dinner regardless if for a special occasion or not.
The food was great and neatly presented. But the accolades go to the pretty lady who was our “bus girl”. She was very attentive and always on the spot with our every need.
Our anniversary dinner was delicious, including desert which was nicely decorated with an anniversary greeting. Service was prompt and courteous. Will be back.
Perfect setting for our anniversary dinner. Service was outstanding, specialty cocktails and every food course were delicious. The staff, from management to servers, treat you like special guests. That’s why we always choose the Kimberton Inn for our special occasions.
The food and service here are always outstanding. I have been here many times over the years and am never disappointed
The menu is just the right size. Some of the nicer restaurants have such small menus and I hate that. The food is always great! We have always had great service and I love the ambiance.
5 star evening
We had a wonderful time on the patio. The food was delicious, the staff was more than accommodating and the atmosphere was beautiful! Pressed linens and candle light! It doesn’t get better than Kimberton Inn. The outdoor heaters are great, very comfortable even on cool nights! Thanks !
Jason is back now the team is at full force.
Excellent food in a wonderful setting with a personable, attentive staff!
Best service we have had in a long time at any restaurant. Great food and lovely atmosphere.
Waiters and servers were pleasant and helpful. The lamb was cooked perfectly (something you don’t find very often). Tres leches dessert was also amazing. Highly recommend Kimberton Inn for a romantic, classy night out. Or even if you’re just looking for a burger, there’s a delicious one on the menu.
While the food is magnificent, I found that it was a bit rich for me.
Excellent customer service. We arrived early for our reservation. Dining room was not open yet. Jeff the owner offered us to have a drink and sit at tables they had outside. He personally served us our drinks. You can tell that the entire staff goes the extra mile.
We live five minutes away and love this place! Always had great food and drinks! Jeff was very attentive and personable! I've bought gift certificates for friends and they're always a hit!
The best food in the area. Everything on the menu is a home run. Service is impeccable.
We wanted an elegant dinner in an outdoor setting and the patio service at Kimberton Inn was delightful -- lovely setting, first class food and friendly, responsive service.
Love this gem. Great drinks, delicious food, amazing staff. Our favorite Friday night spot!!!
It was our first time dining here. Food was so good! It was definitly a little loud because I think they had a wedding going on. Bathrooms were small for the amount of people there, and the apps took almost an hour to come to the table. The food was worth the wait though, as it was so delicious!
Jeff, Jason and the staff really make the Inn special. The meals are thoughtful and well prepared and the wine list is excellent with a great variety of organic and bio-dynamically produced varietals.
Food is well prepared and tasty. I was full on leaving.
Always a nice option when you want something a little fancy.
Absolutely wonderful as always! Consistent quality and service for over 30 years I have been going here!
p.s. bring back your lobster soup!
My favorite place to dine. Excellent food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.
What a fantastic restaurant! My wife and I visited on our wedding anniversary, and The Kimberton Inn made it a truly memorable night!
The food was fabulous! My husband had the duck and I had the scallops and shrimp. Cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. Everyone was friendly and the service was great. Can’t wait to go again!
Always a wonderful dining experience at Kimberton Inn. The food is absolutely delicious and the ambiance is amazing!
We've been dining here for over 20 years and always fabulous!
Great historic building, fun bar and excellent food.
Two couples, each ordered different entrees, all enjoyed their food. Attentive staff without being overbearing, timely food delivery and never felt rushed. Great ambiance and glad we went.
