Excellent food and service!
We’ve had several date nights and family dinners in this restaurants and it’s always great. The food is delicious and the service is amazing.
Food delicious as always
As always, it was exceptional! I'd always recommend this to friends!
Service at atmosphere excellent
Excellent fare. Crab Cake, Leg of Lamb, fillet Mignon, Lobster Bisque outstanding. Service was attentive but not invasive.
During the pandemic, there were only six tables in a heated tent on the patio, so it was a fortunate reservation we were able to make.
The owner takes pride in his restaurant and his highly trained staff. He came around to the tables and spoke with us in a friendly manner. I highly recommend this restaurant!
It is the middle of February but too cold, sitting on cold metal chairs, food got cold quickly, feet were freezing, we took extra blankets and still too cold. Service was lukewarm. Not many people to serve but servers have to walk so far to the patio to deliver the service was slow. Seemed understaffed. Food is good.
Always GREAT food and service. Very good local beer selection and solid wine selection as well.
The food is always fabulous. The spacious tented patio, with its giant heaters and safely spaced tables is toasty and comfortable. The perfect outdoor dining experience even on the chilliest of evenings.
Wonderful special occasion restaurant. Fabulous food, great service, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Very comfortable inside the tent. Every table has a heater. In fact I had to ask to turn it down. Also provided lap blankets. It’s pricey so would save for special treat.
Jeff and his team continue to perform at the highest level. Their outside venue was quite cozy even when the outside temperature was below freezing. Through all their obstacles the team is cheerful and accommodating. 5 stars++
Our dinner for 4 was absolutely delicious, from appetizers to dessert. We were seated outside,in January, under a tent with heat lamps and we’re quite comfortable. We look forward to the end of the pandemic restrictions so that we can visit next time inside the Inn.
Dined at Kimberton Inn for New Years Eve. Currently, only outside dining is open in PA. Their tent was lovely. Plenty of space between tables. Even with openings on both sides to keep airflow going, it was warm and cozy enough that we were able to take off our coats. Service was excellent as was the food. We have never had a bad meal at Kimberton Inn and this was no exception. They are making the best of a tough situation that all restaurants are facing and they are doing a very good job at it!
A different New Year's Eve experience this year; food was delicious as always!
Jeff, Jay and the entire staff are wonderful. Even in these challenging times service is impeccable and the food is great. They try to project a sense of normalcy in very unnormal times.
We had a lovely meal at the Kimberton inn. Service was absolutely outstanding. Menu was varied . The meal was paced perfectly. It’s a nice place so I expect to pay a premium price. But $30 for a plate of spaghetti is pushing it. For a few dollars more I had a delicious duck dinner. Prices just seemed a little out of whack for some things However, this would not stop me from returning to the Kimberton
We dined at the Kimberton Inn for our six year anniversary this past weekend. The Inn is gorgeous - it was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had a huge fireplace that I loved. I had a great cocktail (French 75) and the scallops and risotto appetizers for my dinner, which were both good and very filling. The risotto was a little dry but the scallops were cooked perfectly and were quite tasty. I also loved my chocolate Orange torte with vanilla ice cream, which was a substitute to the chocolate buttercream sandwich I really wanted. But it made due nicely. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience and would come back. My only wish is that the bread didn’t cost but I guess it is what it is. I’d recommend dining here - it’s kinda neat that the Kimberton Inn was founded so long ago and is still standing.
Fireplaces set the tone for a romantic, warm and satisfying meal. Old school classic upscale dinner dark wood white table cloths the staff is attentive professional and pleasant we are coming back soon
Excellent all around in every category.
Absolutely OUTSTANDING & PERFECT evening. SErvice, food, attention to cOVID safety was superb!
This is pretty much the only place that life feels the same right now for me in COVID in that the owner and team keep everyone very separated and yet treat you like gold. The ambiance is cozy and yet, with COVID safe. For an hour - you can forget what's going on in the world, enjoy amazing food, and relax in front of a fire. Highly recommend.
Wonderful thanksgiving dinner
Excellent private dining experience. As if you and your guests were dining in your own beautiful, historic home. Amazing food preparation and service.
Great food. Are here on Thanksgiving. Great food and great service. Drinks were great. Amazing pork chop meal.
The Kimberton Inn was AMAZING as always! The food never disappoints & the service was incredible!
The lamb chops were delicious! Cooked to order with the perfect balance of accompaniments. However, at this price point should diners really have to pay $6 for a small basket of bread and rolls with their meal? And not even a salad with your entree UNLESS you want to pay another $12 or so...The food and service were excellent, but overall I'd say over priced.
This was our first visit to Kimberton and we wondered why it took this long. The ambiance was wonderful and the staff attentive.
Fabulous meal! Everything was made to perfection. Very enjoyable evening
Best meal I’ve ever ordered out. Duck was phenomenal.
Beautiful quaint inn, great ambience, excellent food/service
Jeff and his team did an outstanding job with a high bar---as come to be expected over these many years. While the atmosphere was subdued due to the seating requirements: it afforded a very quiet and intimate setting. Thanks for putting the icing on our special day.
Not up to par-noisy,limited menu, food ok but not great.
If you want an excellent meal with attentive service, in a safe environment then Kimberton is your place! Great job!
Always amazing - Jeff and the team are always so friendly and the food is superb. Always a treat and enjoyable experience.
Change in menu not that appealing. Food was good but Not great. As a long-standing customer disappointed. They even charge for bread & butter to be brought to the table. Ridiculous! Portions smaller, prices slightly higher. Not sure if this is a way to recover from Covid shut down but charging for bread and butter....Really!
We did enjoy our dinner. My husbands dinner was very well prepared.
I had the mushroom soup, which was delicious. I had also ordered the Australian lamb which I was very excited for. But unfortunately it was overcooked and very chewy.
Hoping the next time is better.
Kimberton Inn is a local favorite! We held our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant in 2012 and it has become tradition to celebrate our anniversary there as well. The food is always spot on and there is a wonderful cocktail and wine list to choose from.
Just the best meal, service and atmosphere in the area for your meal. Great location for weddings, meeting etc. your guest will not stop talking about the food and service.
