Excellent service and good food in a cozy atmosphere. Our server described wines with great flair and creativity. We 2 vegetarians had 4 dishes to share for dinner. Recommend!

Very impressed. Food was excellent and service could not have been better. Very small location so reservation is a must. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Kilo was wonderful. Great experience, awesome service, and the food was incredible- loved the pork shoulder and lamb burger. My friends and I were visiting from Washington, and loved how conveniently located it was to bars in Hells Kitchen. Will definitely return on another trip to nyc.

You could almost miss it, but don't. Adorable, wine bar with inventive small plates menu. Never boring. Always welcoming.

Uppity service and they can’t even make a cup of coffee or boil water for tea. Salty food. Overall a huge disappointment. Won’t recommend it or go back.

Kilo really blew us away. My mom, sister, and I came here before seeing the Nutcracker and were surprised how calm this place was for dinner on a Saturday night. A little narrow inside, but once you are seated, you won't focus on anything but the amazing food. We highly, highly recommend going with the waiters suggestion's for food selections and wine pairings. We had a great night here and will definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant and great wine list. Sustainable seasonal menu with many choices for vegetarians. Table by the window was FREEZING, and some dishes were cold (like just out of the fridge cold) that would would have been much nicer hot. Otherwise food was delicious.

Each dish ordered was artfully presented. The Burrata was creamy & almost sweet. Delicious! Highly recommend the mushroom tacos for their taste. The grilled Octopus was the best of all we ordered.
Service was excellent. They had a good wine list too. Ambiance - felt a little crowded with narrow spaces between tables.

Good tapas. Annoyed however that when I booked a table for two through Open Table there was no indication it would be at the bar!! There were tables, which would have been much preferred.

Kilo was pretty good, not great. Service was prompt and professional and found the ambiance cozy. It's just that the food was mixed. The carrot tartare was bland, the mushroom tacos quite good, the octopus cooked beautifully but way too salty, the duck breast delicious. Given the relatively slim menu of small plates, I was disappointed that they were not all equally good.

Ended up costing $110 pp for something OK, but not great. Too many wines by the glass at prohibitive prices killed it for me!

Nice dining experience. It's a small venue so, when we arrived late for our reservation, our table had been given away but we were politely accommodated at the bar. The food and service were terrific. The portions were just the right size to share. We will definitely go back.

Kilo is a tiny gem--tapas type farm to table food that was absolutely delicious. We split the mushroom tacos, which were excellent, a "lingua" special which was a bit salty but. Incredibly tasty, and the winner--hands down--was the octopus. Perfectly cooked, sauced, spiced and accompanied. Not only is the food great, the gentleman who waited on us and is also the sommelier was terrific--walked us through the menu, recommended the perfect wine, and made our dining experience even more pleasant.

We were running more than 15 min late for our 6:45 reservation and had a show to see at 8. Everyone was very accommodating to make sure we got to the show on time. We ended up having plenty of time to eat the very delicious food. Some of the best most tender octopus I’ve had outside of islands I’ve been to—just melts in your mouth.

Cute spot with excellent wine selection. Food was fantastic. The mushroom tacos were delicious as were the curried mussels. I wasn't a fan of the burrata with squash as it was a bit bland. Our server told us he was the wine buyer for the place and gave us accurate descriptions of the wine and nice pairing recommendations.

Kilo has become my 'go-to' place in HK. It's tiny, so make a reservation. Menu is always being updated with new, creative items. Really friendly staff, great wine list, reasonable prices. I'm always surprised (pleasantly) when I go.

What a truly special place to happen upon in the heart of midtown.

From the quality of the ingredients to the thoughtfulness of the service to the laid-back vibe, this reminded me more of a place I would find at the heart of a cozy town in the Catskills or Pacific Northwest. The owners are quick to accommodate (shifting our party of 3 to 4 in a very intimate space) and educate you on the menu (ever-changing with what's in season), and are generous and flexible in tailoring the order to your group (we'll start with 3 crostini and you can order another when you're 4th guest arrives).

Did I mention the food and wine were delicious?

My only regret is that we couldn't linger for hours, as we had to head to our evening plans. To find a place so welcoming is a rare treat, and I hope to call myself a regular.

I've dined at Kilo multiple times, and typically enjoy an excellent meal in a pleasant atmosphere. While the atmosphere and staff were spot on as usual, the food was incredibly salty, and a bit devoid of any real taste, which is not what I am accustomed to at Kilo. I'm willing to give the restaurant another shot, but for $55 per person including tax and tip, and sharing 3 dishes with 1 glass of wine each, this particular visit was indeed disappointing.

Fabulous meal! We were visiting NYC and found Kilo on Open Table. It was just a couple of blocks from our hotel.

It was cozy and warm. Service was very attentive and our waiter L.J. was helpful and friendly.

We shared the watermelon pancetta, mushroom tacos, octopus with chorizo and chickpeas, and the mussels. We could have stopped at three tapas, but the mussels were so good that we wound up asking for extra bread. A small portion of green tea ice cream finished off the glorious meal.

We loved it so much that we purchased a gift certificate for friends who live nearby. We will definitely be back!
