Killer Shrimp is an upscale / casual seafood restaurant known in Southern California for over 25 years serving our world famous "Killer Shrimp" dish. Our expanded menu includes fresh seafood selections, steaks, and amazing appetizers. Our bar features a beverage program that uses fresh squeezed juices and house made syrups to make some of the most delicious drinks in town.

I come to killer shrimp all the time but this past weekend was horrible our waitress never came back to the table to see if we needed anything at all. She didn't even take the check the bus man or helper that cleans tables help us most of the night . Then they charge us for a spilled drink which we
let them know to wake it off the bill. Very bad service workers are not as nice or professional as in the past.

I came to celebrate my 27th bday with my children. Only spoke to the waitress when she took our order , when the food dropped and when we needed to close the bill. My 3 children never got refills for their lemondae. I was only able to order one drink ( Jameson an ginger ale), I was never able to place another drink order until we were ready to close out. Not even a cup of water. The food was great but I never even got a chance to order a birthday desert because she was so busy.

We went for my sister's birthday and the service was great...The food was really good and I will definitely be going again....Our waitress Jenny was very attentive, way to go Jenny!!!

My sister and I (I now live in Denver, she lives in the Bay Area) went with a group of people we used to go with back in the 90’s. The original shrimp with bread was EXACTLY as remembered (delicious and addictive!) from way back. Nice to have a wine list with more than red, white and pink as options!

Shrimp was yummy but service was terrible. Appetiser arrived cold. Kids meal arrived with cold sweet potato fries had to be sent back. Waited for ages for drinks. Felt like our waitress abandoned us. Such a shame and disappointment.

Very loud. Could not have a conversation. The food was great but soda was filled to the top with ice. Had 2 snips and it was empty. The ice was terrible and undrinkable.

I made reservations several days in advance and we were all really looking forward to trying out this restaurant, and I was surprised and very disappointed to get a call from the restaurant 1 hour before (at 5:00pm) to tell me they were closing and canceling our reservation. No explanation, no apologies. She did say that their sister restaurant Killer Cafe was open but does not take reservations. Since my cohorts were already on their way, that option seemed the simplest. However, even though we were told Killer Cafe did indeed have a bar, and we saw it upon entering, when we tried to order drinks the waiter told us the bar was closed. Again, no explanation and no apology. I'll never go back to either restaurant!

We came for the night on vacation to celebrate our friends birthday. By the end, our experience was awful. Both the manager and waitress refused to split our checks. Here we were with a calculator calculating everyone's meals out down to the tax to determine the number they needed to charge per person.... there were 6 of us. I told our manager we did not have a good experience, he wouldn't hear us out or ask why. He just made excuses for his "best and longest" waitress at KS. We could visibly see our waitress and manager exchanging fighting words about our table since we were unhappy. Our waitress did not even take the time to come back to our table with a smile on her face to apologize about our dissatisfaction. She couldn't return the checks to us either. It started with the host who was rude and inattentive. She told us "open table is an estimate." Killer Shrimp, please do not use OpenTable, a place for reservations, if you claim these times are just an estimate. It's misleading. Our waitress would disappear and leave us unattended. Would rudely walk away mid conversation if we asked her for something with out saying "Yes I can do that for you", for example when we asked her to fix the flickering lights above us, she instead just walked away from us. She wasn't accommodating to when we wanted to order, she was more concerned with her other tables than having us a good customer service experience. Unfortunately, Killer Shrimp was offering a rude and disappointing experience to a table of Hospitality professionals. We know about customer service and going above and beyond in Food and Beverage outlets. They did not offer a hospitable experience at all. At least we got a free round of "bubbly", but an apology makes all the difference, something we did not receive from our waitress. I would never eat here again. I would never recommend anybody eats here either. Killer Shrimp and your staff, please swallow your pride and make sure your guests have a great experience.

The atmosphere is odd - beautiful location with a view but somehow just doesn't come together. The Killer Shrimp classic menu is just as good as there original location! Spicy good! The other menu is good seafood also. The service was good. I would rather visit their other location than here somehow it just doesn't work.

We were excited to eat here but we were so disappointed with the service. We had a party of seven and none of us have experienced such poor service. It took hours to get our food and they forgot part of it. No one checked on us. We never got enough waters for seven people. The check took forever to get and then they couldn't swipe the card so we waited and waited for a manager to help the waitress. We finally got up to find the manager ourselves.

I've been here multiple times. The food is good and there's a scenic view from most tables. We waited 45-minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Our group was not happy about this but the food was good and the waitress was very friendly.

We had a reservation but another party was erroneously seated at our table and had to be moved. Our table was in the bar area and it was so loud that we literally had to yell in order to hear each other talk. The wait staff was very nice, but the service was incredibly slow. The food took ages to arrive and when it finally came, it was not brought out all at once. The last dish was delivered at least 15 minutes after the other orders. I requested that this particular order be comped and it was. Apparently several servers had called and they were short staffed. The food was good but the service was not. I won't be back anytime soon.

Fathers Day dining experience was not good. Wait with reservations about 45 minutes. Booth floor area was not clean when seated. We received stack of dirty plates for appetizers and waitress was inattentive. Food was good due to this willing to try again just not for special occasion.

Staff and service were fantastic. Table was ready, we had a few late comers but we were seated at got to order drinks, appetizers, and take time for photos. Views were classic marina scenes and many in our party had never been to Killer shrimp so it was a special treat for everyone. Helped cutting the cake and serving-what a great worry free evening. We had small kids and elder folks which were easily accommodated. Created a great memory for us all. Thank you Killer shrimp staff!

Made reservations 5/28/17 at 5pm but waited 45min to seat.
I had to ask front desk lady to get Mgr involved just to be seated, she seemed to care less! Waitress took another 15 min before coming to start drink order. No utensils, no appetizer serving spoons as we began to order. Large party of 14,hostess never ask if we were celebrating something. Food was bad, & the cooks were speaking very loud in Spanish. With such a large party they gave us 1 basket of bread. They never asked if we wanted dessert & took forever to bring check. It was a terrible way to celebrate my bday, I felt embarrassed that I asked my guest to come here. You really need better Mgt as I've gone to other restaurants w/awesome experiences. To top it off, after I paid the valet guy upon leaving, he ask me to pay again as I got in my car. No Bueno!!!

Great location on the water and simple menu on shrimp dishes. We did order one steak which was cooked very well. Shrimp sauce is nice and spicy and the desserts were fantastic. Leave room for the sweet potato pie. Unique restaurant in a beautiful party of LA. Great time.
