This was my first visit to Killens Steakhouse. I’m my opinion, this was the BEST food my wife and O have ever ate. The waitress was excellent and the manager took the time to visit with us. We will be repeat visitors, I can’t rave enough about the entire experience. The food had flavor in EVERY bite. The desert was even as good. I would highly recommend to anyone. Get dressed up, and enjoy and nice evening!
Steak was fantastic as usual. Our server Randy always goes above and beyond to ensure we are well taken care of when we dine at Killens! He interacts with our our children and his professionalism is second to none!
Amazing and Randy is by far the Best Waiter Ever!!
We had the bacon wrapped scallops, wedge salad, french onion soup, dry aged ribeye, beef Wellington, creme brulee bread pudding and apple bar with french press coffee. We also had the Paul Hobbs 2012 Beckstoffer To Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon. The Roquefort on the wedge salad was very special, not just blue cheese. I cannot begin to tell you how succulent the beef Wellington was! I would definitely have it again. The wine was worth every penny, very complex bouquet that paired perfectly with the Wellington. We will be back even though we live 200 miles away!
Delicious as usual. Steaks on point. Service impeccable.
Reunion of four friends
Killen’s Steakhouse is reserved for special occasions for our family. It is expensive, but worth every penny when celebrating a milestone. The food and service was excellent and we will return.
Absolutely amazing! The steak was oh so tender and the deviled egg are to die for!!!!!
Great food. It’s my go to place. Went there got my boyfriends birthday.
Our family had an enjoyable time celebrating our son's birthday. The food was excellent and appreciated for celebrating a special occasion. Our server Larry took good care of us and remedied a timely delay in one person's meal. The group table next to us made the ambiance loud and a little difficult to talk among ourselves.
Upon seating I noticed how much of an increase there has been in the steak prices since we last visited the year prior; the 4 oz filet is priced the lowest at $52. We also ordered a group appetizer (3 bacon wrapped scallops, one crab cake, 4 fried asparagus) and upon check time was shocked to see it priced at $67.
Outside of the sticker shock prices, for a special event it a nice restaurant to dine at although I think we will have to stick to dining in about once a year.
Expensive but very enjoyable experience. Top notch service and food. Great for special occasions.
First time at Killen’s for wife’s birthday. Heard good reviews. Food was outstanding. Service was slow. Value was more expensive than it should be.
Great food and great service! Little pricey but worth it. So good.
Always outstanding! Excellent service and impeccably delicious food! It is one of my favorites when visiting the area.
We were celebrating our son’s successful dissertation proposal defense and it was a wonderful evening at Killen’s Steakhouse. The server was the best that we have ever experienced at any restaurant anywhere around the world. Her knowledge about all aspects of the menu, her professionalism, and the fact that she had an off the menu nonalcoholic drink prepared just for us was extraordinary. The food was excellent and the carrot cake was to die for. We will be back.
Food is always perfection! Staff is exceptional! One of the few nice restaurants where you can actually have a conversation and not listen to blaring music chosen by someone else.
Food is always Amazing! If you haven’t been crab cake, pork belly and carrot cake are a must try.
Ask for Randy he is the best server at killen's. He had us taken care of and answered any questions that we had.
Always excellent- Jacob is a great waiter, knew the specials and definitely enjoys what he does - also had a visit with the Mgr, Chad, who is so personable and knowledgeable- he has a real passion for the restaurant and his enthusiasm and leadership skills are evident - all of the staff are upbeat and know how to make dining there a truly great evening!
Table for 12 - service was top notch (as always) and food was just as good. Tried a few specials with the filet flight and ribeye - wow!!! Cream corn is always a must and carrot cake to-go, can't go wrong! The first time visitors of Killen's cleared their plates with no complaints! Greatly appreciate the flexibility of the staff for adjusting our party size day of dinner. Be back soon!
Jacob was absolutely fantastic once again. Look forward to many more dinner meetings at your location. And thank you to Jaclyn for all her assistance. Other than that, the entire group appreciated everything about Killen’s.
I have been going to Killens for 20 years and it is my favorite steak house in Houston.
Overvalued and the dry stake was hard to cut and chew. Not impressed with the menu either.
Been waiting to eat here for years as we moved to the area in 2016. Finally motivated myself to make a reservation for my wife and I anniversary. Couldn't be happier with the food and service. Worth every penny. The server was amazing and the wait time was perfect in between dishes. We will be back
Randy is the best! First class experience.
Overall very pleasant experience. Our food was really good and so was our waiter.
Our dinner was very enjoyable. The steaks were excellent quality and prepared properly. My wife had the crabcake, which is her favorite. All in all, Killen's is our go-to steakhouse. Their service is attentive, but not over-bearing. The atmosphere is enjoyable and relaxing.
The food tasted great, but the price of my New York Strip ($62) was way too high. The service was ok, but not great. Also, the bathroom ran out of towels. Killen's steakhouse used to be great, but now there are less expensive options that I prefer.
Excellent food and service.
I would have preferred a more relaxing atmosphere for the price of our meal.
We are on a search for the "old school" Perry's vibe.
Glad we went to Killen's because we had never been, but we can have a comprible meal closer to home with that noise level.
Reservation was 8 pm for 2
We live in LC
Killen is a very elegant place to dine with good people. It is pricey but well worth it. The staff is very professional awesome staff.
Great steak and sides. Carrot cake is delicious!!!
Birthday dinner…amazing as always! Randy is the best, the whole family always appreciates how good he takes care of us!
Delicious food and AMAZING service. Great drinks as well.
Absolutely fabulous and our waiter was informative and courteous. With each course we were amazed by the pairing and tastes from each dish.
Excellent experience. Beautiful restaurant, excellent food and superior service. Waiter Randy and Manager Chad made for a remember able experience. Thank you.
Amazing as always!! Our server Randy is always the best...
Very pricey for the quality. Was expecting it to be amazing based on recommendations. Out of the beer and wine that we wanted. Underwhelmed overall.
We have been eating here for years. It was amazing as always!
Fantastic food and service! Evie was the best server! We had a wonderful time and felt comfortable the entire time. Can't wait to return for our next special occasion.
Killen’s Steakhouse was phenomenal. Our server was amazing, all of the staff were very attentive and friendly. Of course the food was exceptional. Will be going back!
