The waitor was great He suggested my drink which was great and the meal which was great.
I hadn't been to the restaurant in a few years and the building is much nicer than the previous building.
I really wanted to love this place - the food was good, but honestly not up to the level of the prices. I'd eat here again, so it wasn't bad - I just wasn't as impressed as I really wanted to be. The grilled Asparagus was good, and the lobster mac and cheese was tasty, but overall it was all just overpriced.
Excellent food--filet mignon, creamed spinach, and asparagus & lump crab meat. This latter dish was the best we have ever tasted! Surroundings were very attractive and the dining room allowed pleasant, normal conversation. From the valet parking lady to the receptionist to the wait staff, all were very attentive and competent. Our waiter was Andrew-personable, competent and professional. Andrew was outstanding! Overall we enjoyed our evening!
Everything went well the hostess called me to check my reservation in order to confirm. I let her know about my concerns and she readily helped and accepted me suggesting that I call back by 5pm to confirm.
The service was excellent, one of my guests got their steak cooked differently than she asked for but the gentleman taking care of us took immediate action and had the situation rectified.
All in all I have been to this place many times and will continue to patronize this establishment for the care they take of their customers.
The food was excellent! I most definitely will be visiting Killen’s Steakhouse again!
Unfortunately they have decided to not offer Harris Ranch beef, which we find as the best beef to date in the US, we tried the domestic Waygu which pales by comparison, hope they bring it back!!
Aside from that great place, food and atmosphere will be back.
Excellent experience at Killens. Our usual server Larry was fantastic with the service and wine recommendation. Place always meets and exceeds expectations.
Our sons gifted us this experience. They said that we don’t do enough “just the two of us” stuff. They both felt that we are constantly sharing and preparing delicious meals for them and friends. “We want you guys to sit back and enjoy.” That’s exactly what transpired, it all started with Patrick, our server. Patrick made the experience easy, enjoyable, comfortable. The food, the service, the company, and the ambiance were all amazing. We will do it again ❤️
We were excited to finally be able to visit the new Killen's location. We were surprised that the inside still reminded us of the old Mexican restaurant that was previously at the location. We were seated quickly at a table for 5, which was close to the kitchen. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The person serving water was very enthusiastic before dinner and never let our glasses go less than 3/4 full. Since two of us were blocked in, he leaned in front of us about every 2 minutes, and still spilled water on the table. After we received entrees, however, he never stopped by again. We ordered the Korean beef skewers as an appetizer, which was ok. One of our party ordered French onion soup, which was delicious. The rest of us ordered the hearts of romaine salad, which was wilted and bland and poorly dressed. The steaks were very good, as was the pork chop. Obviously, this is where they put their concentration. However, we all expected great food from beginning to end, and just felt let down. The chicken fried steak and sides were too salty. The mashed potatoes were cold. Desserts were imaginative, but not spectacular. The restaurant, was very noisy. For the price and ambiance, Perry's Steakhouse in Friendswood and Ruth's Chris in Houston remain our favorite restaurants overall. We will probably not visit Killen's again.
Was quite disappointed. I love seafood and the sauce on the snapper tasted like a salty soup poured from a can. My husband's steak was overcooked for the way he ordered it. However, it fit mine. Bread and garlic mashed potatoes were awesome. Noise level was loud and difficult to carry on a conversation. They were busy and wait staff was moving continuously back and forth by our table, so the environment was not peaceful.
Killen’s is not inexpensive, but is well worth the money. The food is always exceptional and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it.
Superb as always! We had a group of 8 celebrating my husband's birthday. Had great wine recommendation from our waiter, Jeremy. The evening couldn't have been more perfect!
It was my wife's birthday and the staff made it special. Amazing dry aged steak!
Service was very great, our server knew the menu and had a answer for every question I asked. The food was great and was very happy we didn't have a long wait for the food. This was my second time to eat at killen's and I do highly recommend to friends and co workers. thank you so mush for a very satisfying experience.
