The steak I order was little over cook.
Our waitress was awesome! Went for my husbands birthday the food was great. The only thing that was bad was the noise level. Really, really loud.
As expected, the steaks were superb––highest quality beef, which Killen's is famous for. Negatives were a very high noise (loud music) level, which interferes with conversation and which I feel is not appropriate for a white linen, fine restaurant. Service was attentive, but rather slow.
As you would expect from Killen’s the food was fantastic. The tap water tasted like it had a chlorine tablet in it. When we asked the waiter about it he said “that is how Pearland water tastes”. This is false because I live in Pearland. We had a large party, but it still felt like there were significant periods of time between visits from the waiter. I don’t understand why the automatic gratuity is now 20%. I think that was a bit excessive and our waiter did not deserved anything greater than a minimum 15%.
Food was great though!
This was our first time dining here. Our waitress Lanae was superb! She made the whole experience a home run for us. When we return we will specifically request her to wait our table. See you soon!

Excellent food and service. A bit pricey but worth it for special occasions.
The four of us enjoyed every bite, sharing throughout the meal. We had a tenderloin, 2 NY stripes & the chicken fried plate dinner along with creamed spinach, roasted Brussels, mushrooms, French onion soup & a huge bowl of Andouille sausage with turkey. Edwin was our server who made us very comfortable & delivered piping hot food to the table.
