Excellent food and service. A bit pricey but worth it for special occasions.

The four of us enjoyed every bite, sharing throughout the meal. We had a tenderloin, 2 NY stripes & the chicken fried plate dinner along with creamed spinach, roasted Brussels, mushrooms, French onion soup & a huge bowl of Andouille sausage with turkey. Edwin was our server who made us very comfortable & delivered piping hot food to the table.

We will be back.

Could have had a better tasting steak 🥩 at Taste of Texas or another high end Steakhouse. The sides and service were very good. But that is not why you go to a high end Steakhouse. Very disappointed 😔

This place was delicious. I took my kids and husband it is very quiet and dark, with a candle lit dinner. The waiter was very knowledgeable, about the menu and recommended a few things.

As usual, the steaks and sides were perfection. I had a filet that was perfectly prepared and my husband’s rib eye was as well. Our sides were marinated heirlooms, creamed corn and scalloped potatoes. We had homemade ice cream for dessert, which was heavenly.

Outstanding as usual. Wait staff (Chris was our waiter) did a super job. He was extremely attentive and thorough with explaining the menu and specials. Food was excellent. We got their early for our reservations but they went out of their way to seat us soon after arriving.

My wife and I enjoyed our 23rd wedding anniversary at Killen's and had the Japanese Wagyu and it officially the best meal I have ever had. Well worth every dime and then some. The sides were awesome and the wait staff if very well educated and informative of what they have and what goes best together. I highly recommend Killen's to anyone.

This was my fourth trip to Killen’s. My first experience was fantastic and I enjoyed possibly the best steak I have ever eaten. This was more than a year ago. Since then, I have dined at Killen’s three more times. Each time, my experience was worse than the time before. Last week, was my fourth and final trip to Killen’s. My steak was overcooked (tough and dry at medium) and my business associate’s was undercooked (literally raw at center of his rare filet). Best part of the meal was asparagus... I bet that is a rare comment for a steakhouse. Four experiences, each worse than the one before, will earn a word of caution (rather than a recommendation) to my friends and family. Overpriced and overrated.

I have heard that this restaurant is above board, so I have been wanting to go since they opened. They aren't close by my house so I had to really plan my day around eating there. I liked that the menu had a wide variety of steaks from many local and far off places. I have only read about that kind of menu in books. I was really impressed by that. I did not care for the way the restaurant was set up because it was as if we were seated in a well. It was so difficult to hear the other members of my party talking because of the back ground noise. I thought the bus boys did a fantastic job of keeping our water glasses filled and always having plenty of bread available. This restaurant has fantastic bread ,too!

Overall it was a good experience. Food was great except for our steaks being slightly over cooked- not enough to send back. Will definitely be back. Prices are reasonable. About the same price as Perry’s. Bartender was a little slow but other than that no complaints.

Ron's kitchen and wait staff deliver again. This visit was my 6th visit and second New Year's Eve dinner. I've never had anything to complain about from the menu. If you want better quality meals, you pay for them and at Killen's Steakhouse you get what you pay for. Perfectly seasoned and prepared from the appetizers to desserts. I ate the left overs from my meal last night and even oven reheated, it was better than many meals I've eaten at lesser restaurants.

We arrived a few minutes early and were greeted by a very friendly valet who opened the door for myself and my wife. We entered expecting to have to wait but were seated promptly. That's where the great service stopped and mediocre set in. We waited several minutes for our waiter to show up, then waited for what seemed like forever to get so much as a glass of water...in fact, the table behind us was seated after us and had their drinks from the bar before we had our water or drink order taken. I had to ask the waiter twice for a wine list, then he second guessed me and told me what he recommended. Reluctantly, I went with his recommendation, only to find out 15 minutes later that they were out of that wine. I made a second choice and waited an additional 10 minutes for it to be brought to the table. 45 minutes into it, we finally got to place our order and got to have a glass of wine. Inexcusable.
We were asked if it was our first visit to which we replied no, but were subjected to the sales pitch by the waiter anyway, who tried to upscale our steaks to what the most expensive items on the menu. I don't recall this happening on any of our previous visits, and in the future, will simply cut the waiter short and tell him to just bring what we ordered. Service was slow at best, but the food was excellent. The steak was done perfectly and the sides were excellent as well.
Would i go again? Of course. In that we spent over $300.00 for a meal, would i put up with poor service again? NO. Next time I'll simply ask for the manager and request a different waiter. Hopefully this was an isolated incident and isn't going to become the norm as it would be a shame to ruin a wonderful restaurant with experiences like this.

The steaks were super tender. I would give them a 10, except they were salty. So it is 9/10.
The services were good; staffs were very tentative. They deserve grade 10/10.

Hands down the greatest steak I’ve ever had. The dear, and the crust on the steak was dynamite, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The salad wasn’t drenched in dressing, it had the perfect amount of dressing. The potato’s au gratin were the best I’ve ever had as well.

We expected a more intimate setting for this fairly expensive restaurant. The dining area is large and open which makes it noisy and not conducive to a pleasant dining experience/conversation. Clientele was more casual than expected - especially for a holiday weekend. Service was outstanding and seafood entree was excellent. Good cocktails.

My brother and I decided to treat our parents to a surprise dinner at Killen's Steakhouse and it was a success! It was the first time any of us had eaten there. The food was delicious. I had seen people rave about their French onion soup and carrot cake, so I had to try both and neither disappointed. I ordered the wet aged filet mignon and asked for it to be cooked medium. When the steak arrived it was over cooked to be well done. I am not one to complain about my food being over cooked, so I did not send it back. Even over cooked, the steak was still good. It was still really juicy and tasted great.

We have come here for years on special occasions. We loved it better when it was at the old location but this is much bigger and nicer. The old location had more character but the food is still fantastic. If you like wine they have a good wine list with reasonable prices (2×retail).

Very overpriced especially when food mediocre. Killen's has always been pricey but excellent food made the restaurant good for clients and special occasions. I had the lobster special, tasted like it sat under heat lamp, definitely not the promised 2 lbs, priced at $60 without any sides.

Heard Mr. Killen doesn't own this restaurant, perhaps that's the quality problem.

If you go, have a $100 steak....personally, I'll avoid.

My wife and I joined best friends there for a special dinner. The other couple have been there twice before and stated they enjoyed it on each occasion. This was my wife and my first visit. I am not averse to 'paying more' for quality food when justified by any means, however, my $75 filet was served well-done in lieu of 'medium' so my order required it be re-cooked. Granted, it was considerate of Killen's to reduce the cost by 50% on my steak, however, the rest of our party had essentially finished eating their meals by the time mine was replaced. I definitely do not enjoy eating by myself as others watch and converse around me (analogous to being the subject of a zoo exhibit).
The service was unfortunately just 'average'-- in a restaurant of this calibre--I don't feel a customer should have to wait an inordinate amount of time to catch the eye of the server to get a refill on beverages.
