the best place to enjoy, the owner/chef is adorable, the food amazing, the service fab. the old cat, great, the gift shop wonderdful; the table in front of the gift shop---dumb as rocks
Truly atmospheric and resembling a cozy mountain lodge. Food is very good and portions are generous. Service is also warm and professional. We liked this visit so much that we returned again the following night and again, were well taken care of. I would recommend this place to round off a visit to the volcano. Well worth it.
Best place for dinner near Volcano National Park. Everything our party of 6 tried was delicious, from the appetizers to the antelope!
Excellent food, atmosphere & service. Great place for get togethers, dates, anniversaries, special celebrations. The fireplace adds a special, cozy touch. The service people are attentive., courteous and efficient.
Very good all around
We celebrated our 7. Weddingday, got a table with ballons, had a very delicious dinner and got a polaroid for memory. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and enjoyed the hot tube ;-))
For a my wife's 60th Birthday, I took her to the Kilauea Lodge B & B for a two night stay. This included a New Years Eve dinner. The ambiance of the dinning area of the lodge is very cozy with a large brick fire place, a rustic wood decor and nicely decorated for the season. Our food was absolutely delicious from the rack of lamb to the prime rib and topped of with a yummy chocolate desert. The wait help were very attentive and cheerful , which made the night a most memorable night for both of us. Yes even the breakfast, which is included with the stay, was
Never disappoints. Wonderful setting and service, and beautiful artwork.
For Boxing Day in Volcano we wanted to splurge for dinner out and this was a great family pick! Coconut curry mushroom soup, macadamia nut bread, lobster Caesar salad,Ono and Tuna cooked perfectly and apple cheesecake for dessert with a local Volcano wine. Delish! Wonderful ambiance and terrific service.
We actually enjoyed 2 dinners and 2 brunches while staying in Volcano village for a couple of days right before Christmas. We have dined at Kilauea Lodge a couple of years ago and returned. We were not disappointed. The menu provides a nice selection with some specials. The wait staff is very professional, well-trained and managed and the food was terrific. The service was a small bit slow during the holiday season, but now more than we might expect and the staff was so courteous and apologetic about any delays that we were not bothered by this at all. It is so wonderful to find such a fine dining experience located so near a fabulous national park. Thank you for helping us enjoy our vacation on The Big Island!
