KiKu Japanese Steakhouse
One of my favorite neighborhood places to go. Food is always good.
We eat her frequently- both Habichi and Sushi and it’s always fresh and delicious. Never been disappointed.
Very good experience, good ambiance.
Food was great but we had to wait an hour for our food to be cooked. We had a reservation for 6:00pm and didn't get to eat till after 7:00.
We’ve been coming to KiKu regularly for 14 years, and this was by far our worst visit. We waited a long time for our cook to come to our table. The waitress was awful. The cook was very slow, and the food had no flavor and was undercooked. There was also a child at the table behind us that was screaming loudly the entire time.
Wonderful anniversary dinner. Great food, fun chef, good servers. Food was amazing.
We’ve been going to Kiku for years and the quality, quantity of food is still excellent. The service is always friendly and very attentive staff. Definitely a fun atmosphere for a very nice dinner. Thank you Kiku!
We had family all the way from California that we had the pleasure to bring to Kiku! The hibachi chef was wonderful and entertaining. He was gracious and accommodating. However, there was a wait period after we were seated and had our orders. The hostess may have missed to inform us that the chef is getting ready or whatnot! Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Can't wait to come back!
Very entertaining and delicious! Even our 3 years old enjoyed it!
They were short on cooks so we waited some time to eat. As always the food was good.
Our hibachi chef was very entertaining! There is so much food you don't leave hungry.
Kiku is an amazing restaurant. Our food and service was outstanding! I would highly recommend Kiku!
Amazing service , and our cook Solomon was great as well. Great tasting drinks and the ambiance was very nice
We have been to Kiku several times in the past. We have always had great service, great food and friendly staff.
Today was no different. Highly recommend reservations as they fill up after 6pm.
This is our go to place for sushi and hibachi. Always quality food and great service. Never had a bad meal here.
The waitress was great! The chef kept sneezing, drinking water and talking to other staff. They bowl the fried rice but he didn't even fill the bowls full. For the price we could at least get a full bowl or rice. The soup wasn't the greatest. Kind of tastes watered down. It's super dark in there, I couldnt really tell the steak from the mushroom it was that dark at our table. The chicken and filet mignon was okay. The boyfriend and I go to Hibachi every weekend and this would got probably a 4 or 5 put of 10 rating from us. There's one down the street from this place that was much better. Food, service and all.
It was good! My son’s first experience with a hibachi grill and he is wondering what took us so long to bring him :) My daughter and I have been here a couple times. The “show” is the same every time, but the food is good, too. We had great group of people sharing the table with us and that always helps. Service was ok - sometimes quick, sometimes took 10 minutes to get a drink.
The food was good but the portions were small in comparison to other hibachi restaurants. Drinks were good
Rolls are great, Nigiri wasn't my favorite here. The Mackerel was a little thick. This is a go to for rolls.
By far the best place in the Western Suburbs for habachi bar none.
The sushi is exceptional grade A all the way
Great sushi and best in town. Hibachi chef was slow.
One of our favorites places to go to, especially for special events.
Overpriced and not a clean environment food was satisfactory
Terrible. Used to be a regular. Made 7pm reservation, was seated at 7:30pm. Sat for 15 min - not one person asked us for water, drink order. We left!
Good service and ambiance. Good selection of Japanese beer and Sake. The Chef was amazing. I believe his name was Solomon but he was exceptional. The food itself was good. The entree was cooked perfectly and taste amazing. They could use a little more imagination on the salad and broth but overall we had a very enjoyable evening.
As always we were seated quickly and ha d superb sushi.
It was my Daughters Birthday and it was nice that they brought her a little cake at the end but when I got my bill at the end I found a $10.00 charge for the cake!! The gesture was nice but they could’ve warned me that they were going to do this and that there would be a charge.
Everything and everyone are always perfect! Favorite place to eat! Best sushi in town!
Very nice evening. Food tasted great. Service was awesome
My husband and I enjoyed coming here for our 3rd wedding anniversary. The salmon was excellent. I was expecting more food, many other Japanese steak houses serve bigger portions and include noodles with the entree which I was missing. Prompt service and our chef was great!
Thx so much my wife enjoyed the day in her birthday
Great hibachi chef interaction. Kiku is a better restaurant than the hibachi in Disney World.
Always great at Kiku!
Nice atmosphere food was great although some of the shrimp tasted a little less fresh than others. Wait staff was attentive even on a busy friday night. Chef was talented and professional not overly charismatic but the filet was a beautiful medium rare and chicken was tender and juicy not dry or overcooked.
Celebrating a birthday and KiKu did not disappoint. Great food, service and experience. We will definitely go back.
We love Like!
There was a weird chemical smell like oil in lobby upon arrival. Smelled like WD40.
Food was good. Steak a bit overdone but tasty. Seems overpriced but when you crave hibachi it’s a go to.
The place needs a good scrubbing due to the cooking and grease. If that can be addressed we would try again.
Delicious, great service and show. Had a wonderful lunch!
