It has received 3-star reviews from both *The Chicago Tribune* and *The Sun Times*, and now in its eighteenth year, Kiki's Bistro maintains its well-earned reputation of gastronomic excellence and friendly, professional service. A comfortable French country atmosphere attracts an eclectic array of food-lovers, including celebrities, politicians, and acclaimed chefs.
Previous to Kiki's Bistro, Georges "Kiki" Cuisance opened Le Bordeaux at Madison and State in 1969. The restaurant attained a revered status among cosmopolitan Chicagoans, and when "Kiki" moved his kitchen to its current River North digs, his avid following of regulars and Francophiles pursued without hesitation. In an official proclamation the City of Chicago praised Mr. Cuisance for being at the forefront of introducing French cuisine and savoir-vivre to Chicago's developing dining scene.
Kiki’s is fantastic! Oysters, salad lyonnaise, steak frites, duck (oh the duck!) are just a few of the great menu items. I will be back very soon.it is a must in Chicago dining!
Excellent as always which is why we dine there on a regular basis.
Kiki's Bistro is a wonderful gem in the city. The food, ambiance, service is always outstanding.
The food and service were both outstanding!
An outstanding bistro-- excellent food, friendly and helpful and not overbearing service, and a warm ambience. It was a remarkably enjoyable evening there.
It was my birthday dinner and we all really enjoyed it. It was also nice to see Denise again! Great great place.
Fantastic food, staff, and ambiance. A great neighborhood restaurant
We have been repeat customers for about 30 years. Have always experienced great food and service. You cannot go wrong with any of the menu items. They have always given us spot-on guidance with the wine and food pairings. Two servers that are particularly exceptional are Mark and Tristina.
Lovely in every way.
I love Kiki’s
I recently discovered Kiki’s 3 months ago.
I have been there 3 and have taken guests from out of town 2x and co-workers.
I look forward to returning!
Quality of food was disappointing compared to earlier visits. Hot fois gras was too dry. Duck breast and confit was good, Chicken dish was just average.
Kiki's is always wonderful. From the Loop to 900 N. Franklin, I have been going for many years.
Wonderful food. Will visit again!
As always, a wonderful meal with great service. Kiki’s always makes each guest feel special. Kiki, himself, personally seats his guests and the hostess is so kind! The ambiance is warm and comfortable with numerous floating votive globes. Filet was perfect as was the fish special. Each desert on the very large desert menu is great. The accordion player and his music was a real nice touch. Love Kiki’s!
Lovely! Great food, service and ambiance.
Kiki’s is a neighborhood hidden gem that never disappoints.
Always a great place to go.
My only disappointment wa that the bread was cold. I had just been to Mon Ami Gabi where the bread was warm and delicious.
Lovely french bistro....great food..escargot yummy...duck fabulous.. halibut very nice.. excellent service...very pleasant ambiance...
One of thentop diningout olaces in Chicago.
Annual extended Family Christmas trip to Chicago always includes dinner at Kiki’s. Better than ever this year
Large group, some miscommunication at check in, but they figured it out. Large portions, moderate prices, all food was delicious, and everything served together and at appropriate temperature. Waitress was excellent!
Hadn't been in years, but food, service and atmosphere as good as I remembered. We plan to return often in 2020.
Nice round table for six made conversation easy. Food excellent as usual. Wait person very efficient but not much personality - all business. Overall, very pleased.
Love this place. Always delicious food, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere and you can even carry on a conversation at your table without yelling over poor acoustics and loud music. Thank you Kiki's!
A wonderful standby restaurant - and Kiki is still there greeting guests at the door. Absolutely wonderful French classics from l'escargots to cassoulet.
The best intimate French bistro you can visit without getting into a plane. Romantic & delicious. Authentic.
One of the best French bistro's in the city. It is a gem.
One of our favorite restaurants in the city. Wonderful French food Lovely atmosphere. Nice, intimate bar.
I used to love Kiki's but it needs a new chef and new life
As always, the food, service and experience were all exceptional.
Kiki's is a charming, delightful spot for intimate dining.
Pre-concert dinner for 8 was fabulous. Nice round table and relatively quiet surroundings made for great conversation supplemented by classic French dishes. Kiki and team do a great job
This is one of Chicago's best restaurants. Delicious food at reasonable prices, excellent service, and hands-on management.
Always excellent food. And the prix fixe dinner is a bargain before 630p.
Sadly a very noisy night at Kiki’s. Lots of large/multiple table group celebrations
Absolutely fabulous on every level.
We celebrated two birthdays. My grandson was with us. The waitstaff was very accommodating and kind to him. It was a great time had by all. We love going to Kiki's.
