Kick makes for a great neighborhood bar/restaurant in Roscoe Village where we don't have many similar options. Every menu item comes with some spice. I felt that the options were a little overpriced for the quality of food we received. The ceviche was delicious (and spicy) and they have a decent beer/wine list. It's early days yet, so I'd definitely be willing to try it out again as it picks up and check out something new on their menu.

Our service was terrific and the food was very good. Be prepared for a little Kick in each dish - even when you don't expect it!

We went in the first night they opened. The servers were very attentive. I had a burger as did my husband and the food was great! We live a few blocks away, and will definitely be back!

Had an opportunity to have a rare date night with my wife, and we decided to give KICK a try. Well, we were not disappointed! The service was top notch. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and the chef was very accommodating with my allergies. Even the host staff made us feel very welcome! We will be back!!

Our dinner at Sola was mostly fantastic. All the dishes, save one, were phenomenal. The tuna, however, was bland and boring. Our waitress was adorable and really attentive but the busser at the table was odd...there was one particular guest at our table that he consistently ignored or reached over. I counted no less than 5 times that he reached right across her face to grab something on the other side of the table. It was off putting and soured the night a little. BUT, aside from that and the bland tuna, everything else was good to the point of orgasmic. The bacon bread pudding that came with the pork entree is the stuff of dreams. :)
