We were celebrating my friend’s wedding, which was to take place 2 days later. We chose this place because it was near our resort and looked like it had good food. When we first went in, they said they had to seat other groups first. I reminded them that we made reservations earlier that week because we had a busy schedule. After some time passed, they finally sat us down. The bride and groom to be ordered some drinks and we started talking about the wedding plans. We started noticing that the tables around us were being served their drinks, but not us. 25 minutes passed, we had our appetizers and still our drinks didn’t arrive. We asked our waitress why it was taking so long and they said the bar had a back up of orders. We mentioned that others were being served there drinks even though they arrived after us. Finally, they came to take our order and we asked about our drinks again. The groom to be wanted to make a toast to his bride to be. They told us they didn’t think we needed to be drinking since we were already hyper and in a celebratory mood.
I’ve never been so embarrassed by an establishment in my life. In fact, I was embarrassed for them. Why would a place with such a stellar rating be so rude and demeaning to patrons they’ve never had interactions with? I’m deeply disappointed by the treatment we got at this place.
Beautiful open restaurant. Service was OK, server seemed rushed and like she didn’t really have time for us. Drink orders took longer than we would have liked. Food was OK but not amazing, for the price we expected more. I would give it another shot just because it had such a nice atmosphere.
Had an awesome dinner at Keokis. Everything from our server to the drinks to the food and the ambiance was perfect! I would highly recommend if staying in Kauai.
We were seated promptly on the time of our reservation. Requested a booth and got it. Service staff was excellent and attentive to our questions and needs. Their baked Ono (fresh Wahoo, Keoki's Style) was amazing, Duroc Pork Ribs portion was huge and tasty, and the Prime Rib here is outstanding. Presentation is photo-worthy, though you might just decide to skip the Instagram post and dive right in (we did!). Their world-famous Hula Pie for dessert is a must, and for those who can't handle the towering slice of vanilla-macadamia ice cream on a cookie crust, the Banana Coconut Cream Pono Pie is also delightful. Live dinner music and the gentle swishing of the water features added ambiance to an already unforgettable night.
Great place to eat. It is within walking distance from the Marriott. Definitely ask to eat outside. You will never know you are in a strip mall.
Good food and nice setting
Our evening and meal was heavenly. The music and the seafood were a perfect melody.
Had a great time.
The early bird dinner menu was an excellent value and delicious!
Great as always!
Seated promptly. Had to wait for my ice tea and the server did not know his beers. But he was friendly and helpful. Food was prepared well with a beautiful presentation. Fish duo my son had I feel the fish portions should have been slightly larger for the amount we were paying.
Food, we had fresh fish daily special, was very good. The fish choice recommended was very fresh and tasty. A bit pricy, so look at menu prior to booking. Need a reservation. They had a pretty good band, pleasant listening while you ate. Might have been a bit loud if you have more than two people. They could have made our experience stand out if they had handled something better. We were sitting outside, we had a bottle of wine. When my glass was still pretty full, a fly dive bombed into my wine. Not their fault, they quickly offered to bring me a clean glass-- but would have been nice to have offered to bring a half glass of wine in that new glass. Otherwise, we had a nice dinner there
This is one of our favorite places to eat every time we go to Kauai. They never disappoint. The atmosphere is relaxing, the pond is great to sit by, the fresh catch of the day is awesome and of course the hula pie at the end!!! Yum! I highly recommend reservations. We had made ours before our trip with open table. When we walked up to check in, I could hear the other people waiting talking about the wait being an hour or more. There were tons of people waiting for a table. With our reservations, we walked right in and our table was ready. This place is a MUST if you are in Kauai.
Food was terrific. The food arrived quickly ....almost too quickly. The ambiance is such that you really don’t want to hurry. Enjoyed the Hawaiian music and the hula dancer. Service was great.
Great food, service, and atmosphere!
Our waiter was so nice and helpful in picking a great meal! I got the duo (which was outstanding! Especially the snapper with the teriyaki glaze!) and my husband got the ahi, which he loved! Great ambience and scenery! The hula pie was awesome too!
Great ambiance and my wife and daughter enjoyed their fish entrees. Our waitress was over the top kind and helpful. But I had the beef and the beef and chicken skewers which were mediocre at best. In fact the chicken skewers were so undercooked and rubbery I couldn’t eat them.
Poor service but very good food. Live music was barely audible from the table they gave us.
Return visit this trip. A must stop every return visit on the island. Great fresh fish offerings. Jeff very helpful on order + excellent service from bar to serve.
LOVED this restaurant! Live music, attentive servers, cool ambiance, deliciously fresh food (best seafood risotto I’ve ever had), and the heavenly Hula Pie. Our favorite restaurant on the island so far! We even got a coupon for a free Hula Pie with our next visit!
Excellent dining as always. Good food, friendly service
Staff was courteous and made special accommodations for our party.
We were in Kauai for vacation and this was near our resort. The positive reviews and recommendations did not disappoint. We really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Must stop for dining if visiting the area. I had the Keoki style fish and my husband had the 2 way prepared. Both fantastic.
Don't recall his name, but our server was exceptional
Wonderful in every way
The food was very good! The crab cakes are very small, maybe 1.5” in diameter and you get 2. Beyond that, it was a very good experience and we would eat here again!!
Great ambiance. It was a nice dinner and time out.
A beautiful restaurant — the ambiance is outstanding.
We were visiting Kauai for our anniversary. We ate here twice because it was excellent food and service with a nice ambiance. Great value!
This is a wonderful place, we had a lovely dinner with excellent good and service!
This is more a food factory than a restaurant; the service good but rushed; the fish overcooked; the atmosphere pretty but plastic. Every beach resort area in the country has one of these. Go instead to any of several nearby places that have genuine atmosphere and a far better kitchen.
We had our 5 year anniversary dinner here and really enjoyed ourselves! Kevin was our waiter and he was awesome! Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. We would definitely recommend this place to others!
So many great things to say about this restaurant! The ambiance was like its own little oasis. The food was fantastic. The service was awesome.
Keoki’s is a “must do” when we visit Kauai. We go early for the Chefs Tasting Menu which is a great deal and finish with Hula Pie. Atmosphere is excellent.
Great experience. They were very accommodating and knew we had to catch a flight.
One of the most favorite restaurants we ate at in Kaua’i. Highly recommend
The evening was great, till they could not process our E gift card because they don not have the password to their internet to get our e gift card number.
Best dinner of the week in Kauai.
Lovely garden atmosphere. Had Hawaiian singer playing in background......very nice.
Prime rib goood, not outstanding, but good. I had lobster.....not a local fish, but was good, again not great, but how do you make a lobster great if not in some sauce. I would go back.
Lovely garden setting with fantastic local sustainability caught wild Hawaii fish. Food was perfectly prepared. Ambiance was exceptional. Live acoustic guitar music and Hulu dancer. Bar had the game on but was set inside. Pretty quiet for conversation. Servers were very exceptionally well trained and knowledgeable on all aspects of cuisine.
Great food... reasonable prices (for where it its :) the seafood risotto is the best thing on the menu but it's all good. My favorite place to eat on the island!!
