Keoki's Paradise Ratings and Reviews
We ate at Keoki’s Paradise while on vacation. Our food was delicious, the service was top notch, and they gave us a hula pie dessert on the house since my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary! We will probably come back again before our vacation is over! Highly recommend it!
We visited twice in one week, lunch once and our last dinner on island. We had tried much higher reviewed places and places twice as expensive, but we really just wanted some good times to savor till our next Kauai visit. Staff was good and eager to help and please, server especially helped with menu and wine pairings and choosing appropriate dietary concerns. Live music played and crowd seemed upbeat and having a great time. We will visit again for solid Kauai fish favorites. Ambience may seem inauthentic to some but families and fun loving people will enjoy the easy atmosphere as we did.
Overall a great experience and more value for the money than most of the other fine dining experiences. Very good service, excellent ambience. Make sure you place a reservation just in caes because it's a popular choice for obvious reasons. Highly recommend but leave the kids behind so you can take it all in and relax.
A true treasure! Wasabi (Moon Fish) was fantastic as was everything else. The staff bends over backwards to ensure a great dining experience. The view? Unbelievably gorgeous! The only negative thing is if you get a good table at sunset -- you will be engulfed by people taking pictures!
We stumbled on Keoki's on our last day on the island, and kept wishing we would have discovered it earlier. The decor was tropical and very relaxing. The food was excellent. We had the bbq pork sandwich which was delicious and filling. The Ceasar salad was a bit small but very good. I know we will definitely revisit this place on our next trip.
Service was hit and miss and somewhat slow. Cocktail waitress brought my glass of wine and said to me: Here is your Sauvignon Blanc. I told her that I ordered a glass of Pinot Gris and then she said what she gave me was the Pinot Gris (and it was). Food was good, but it came out very slowly. Music was nice and would have been nicer if the musician had not talked so much. It appeared that somebody cared for his explanation which was also ver6 difficult to understand.
This restaurant has to be the best in Kauai. We had a party of 5 celebrating a birthday. We had crab cake & calamari appetizers that were delicious. Everything was so fresh. Our entrees included the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi , prime rib, & pork tenderloin. All of these meals not only had good flavor but also complimentary sides and a beautiful plating. The waitress was attentive yet did not rush us. A complimentary ice cream cake was served to the birthday girl. This was so big we all shared it. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Aloha
Outstanding service by Jason and food prepared by the talented kitchen. Keoki's Paradise's beautiful open air design is very relaxing and enjoyable. They shared our culinary preferences, pescatarian/vegan-vegetarian, with our server Jason who worked with us to order a healthy and delicious ginger-cilantro preparation of the monchong and mahi- mahi. Lots of great wine choices too! Thanks for a wonderful evening dining! -Ed & Tom
We went to Keoki's to celebrate my parents 45th anniversary. We had a reservation for 5:30pm for 7 people. When we got there and checked in at 5:23pm they said our table would be ready in just a moment. We waited about 2-3 minutes and were seated. The table was set for 6 people, not 7.. and the special request I had made to have celebratory mai tais on the table when we got there was missed.. so not a good start to the night. The server scrambled to find another chair and setting as we waited. Our server was sweet and apologetic. The rest of the night went well. Food was great though.
Our appetizer and main courses were very good. Roger our server was attentive to our needs. Our only gripe was that the coffee was just warm and the water for the tea was cold. When we brought the tea issue to Rogers attention he said the water is frequently not hot. He did bring us another pot, but at that point my wife was no longer interested in the tea.
Normally you associate most Hawaii restaurants with great fish items which is very true. All four of us decided on prime rib and we were happy we did. It was a big cut, perfectly cooked and tasted magnificent. Service was excellent and the drinks were delicious. We will be back for sure..!!
We had mixed feelings about this place. The food was good except for one dish, the Kushiyaki: the chicken was rubbery and uneatable. Instead of comping the dish, we were offered a free dessert (which we accepted but never would have ordered). The Seafood Risotto was good as were the crab cakes.
We also ordered drinks before the meal was served. We all got our drinks and then one person's drink keep getting re-delivered twice over the next 45 minutes. It became comical by the third attempt to deliver the drink. Apparently, the drink was on their order computer but was never removed after the first delivery.
