The live music was great the ambience was great food was fantastic one thing I could say is I didn’t like my dishes stacked up on my table they did not come by and pick up dirty dishes quick enough they sat at our table the whole length of our stay very disappointing. Other than that everything else was great the hosts were awesome the live entertainer was even better we’re back today for lunch
We made reservations at Keoki’s Paradise because we have been there on other trips to Kauai. We love the ambiance and the food. Great hawaiian atmosphere. Not to mention the great staff and service!
Last night (5/11/21) we had a live singer and he was really good and entertaining. . Such a great selection of Hawaiian songs and some of his originals.
We will return on our future Kauai vacations.
Great service our server with Scotty and the overall organization of restaurant is very good very authentic
We visited several restaurants during our week long visit and although most were really great, our most memorable experience was at Keoki’s Paradise.
The hostess at the front went over and above with great energy. The food (Keoki Style Swordfish and Seafood Risotto), service (Raymond) and ambiance were exceptional and Chico is a fabulous entertainer. Chico’s charismatic personality and soothing but lively vocals immersed our hearts into the Hawaiian experience. We are first timers but we’ll be back again! Thank you!
What a difference a day...or two makes.. We ate here on Saturday and the food was very delicious. Nachos, fish and chips with fresh hot fries, hula pie with double hot fudge and loads of macadamia nuts. Our server was great. Very attentive and friendly. Came back on Monday and had a very different experience. Server was slow and forgot some extras we asked for, like extra salsa with our Nachos and extra ice for the lukewarm water we were served. Fries were cold and fish taco were a bit dry. Hula pie was still “ono” even though it has less fudge and nuts. The chairs we were seated in, had no padding and were very uncomfortable. I switched them out for empty chairs at the table next to us and got a dirty look from the busboy. Sorry but this “tush” needs a little “cush”. So... eater beware... could be good or could be very good, but I would never give this place a great.
Cocktails and food were both delicious. Fresh fish and delicious preparation
Loved the meal, ambiance, and service. Have decided to go there a second time in a week!
Great place for a Mother’s Day dinner
The service was extremely slow. We had a reservation at 630 and by 8pm we still did not our main dishes.
Additionally, 2 of us ordered risotto which was great but 2 ordered fish and it was dry. We weren’t the only ones as we saw another customer return their meal due to dry fish. This is not the level of execution that I would expect from a restaurant like Keoki’s or for the price.
Lovely time celebrating Mother's Day - on the pricey side though
Such a beautiful and unique experience! Food was amazing with larger portions! Would definitely go again!
We caught the end of the lunch rush which means we waited longer than one would expect for service. Even for water. But they were busy, understandable/acceptable.
By the end though, we were finishing up our meals and two large tables were seated. 20 minutes later as the two new tables were getting pupus and drinks and we were still waiting for a check.
I called our server (Jason) over just to get the bill. Which still took 10 minutes so I just handed him my card when he swooped by.
I would recommend to a friend but not based on our last experience.
Food and drinks were great. However, the kitchen and bar were backed up for a long time. Took 1 full hour from the time we sat down to get our food. It was delicious. However, they need to hire more kitchen and bar staff. Also, prices are way too high for this level of service.
New post-COVID menu is really minimal. My favorites were no longer available and what is left is much more expensive than before.
Food was wonderful. Vintage mai tai contained way more juice than expected based on mai tai research. It took more than 1/2 an hour receive our drinks. Service was slow for appetizer but then our entrees came out 2 minutes after. A guy from the kitchen just plopped them down. Expected us to make room. No people skills. No offer to keep our $30+ dinners warm while we finished our appetizer.
Fish was over cooked on both of our meals.
We went to Keoki's Paradise for the first time last week. And when we are back in Kauai we will definitely return. Great ambience, friendly service and delicious food.
Just flew onto Kauai and needed dinner place near my hotel. Food was good, but showed up late to catch the live music.
Great location with friendly staff. Food is decent and pricey for what you get. They make great drinks, heavy on the alcohol 👍so your getting your 💰 worth. I do recommend but be prepared to pay.
Ambiance is why you go there , and the Hula Pie. Service was great, food mediocre. Live music was great.
Fish was fishy and dry, Very crowded, server was great but had too many tables.
After 5 nights and 6 days of eating amazing food in Kauai we wanted to have a last night meal at a nice restaurant to celebrate an amazing trip and what a disappointment. Sadly it was very much a what felt like a tourist trap, very salty foods at least the risotto and the ribs. Way over priced in general food and drink, if you compare the price to the resort pool bar across the st that’s half the price for a drink with a good amount of alcohol to mix ratio. The Lava cake that we technically didn’t even order but was still brought out to the table and we were billed for was the best things we ate. Appetizers came out before our drinks. The crab cakes were decent. Would not recommend. Live music was nice and the decor was probably the beat thing about the place…
Fantastic dinner out in Kauai. Live music near our table was still OK for us. Could carry on easy conversation and enjoyed it very much. The hostess was accommodating and told us two options for seating. That was diner-centric and she had a great hair pineapple as well. The food was the best we had on Oahu and Kauai
Delicious food, fun atmosphere, excellent waiter, wonderful live music
The ambience and flora are so spectacular, they overwhelm any small shortcomings of the food. And the food was good....just not great.
A great dining experience - beautiful setting, good food, friendly service.
Got the double fish plate. Fish were both dry and there was little food in addition to the fish
Great food and a great setting. Rain put a damper on the dining experience as they were slow to put up the canopy. Good was amazing, but a bit overpriced. Hula pie was the biggest hit
“Pack them in, pack them out” seems to be the goal for this manufactured tourist trap. The food was tasty enough, and the server friendly enough. But the quality, portions, and plating did not match the high price tag.
$21 - crab cakes. (Came with 2, quite small and sadly plated. They tasted outstanding, however.)
$18 - coconut shrimp. (Came with 6 small shrimp and a dipping sauce, also sadly plated. Tasted decent).
$37 fish entree. (This was the most disappointing. The fish was delicious but the portion so small, it seemed like a half portion. Imagine the size you would use for a fish sandwich, then cut that in half. All the fish entrees come with the same side of rice and bok choy. I just can’t believe $37 gets you a kid-sized serving of fish with generic sides).
$17 Mai Tai. Tasty drink, not a real Mai Tai.
We had planned to order dessert and another drink, but the server dropped our check off (in mid-run to another table) without checking in. We took that as our queue to relocate.
After we connected the dots and realized this is a California restaurant group with locations near us in LA, it all made a lot more sense. Los Angeles price tags, but without the quality you expect in an urban foodie hub.
I understand you pay for the location near Poipu. They probably have a very successful business model over-charging eager tourists just like us who will pay the “vacation splurge prices”, but we will be sticking with Tahiti Nui in Hanalei from now on, where the food is better and half the price.
Do not go here if you are a vegetarian. There is only one option that tasted bitter. My wife complained, and the waiter told us that the sauce is meant to be bitter (according to the kitchen). That’s complete nonsense. Bitter ravioli sauce. After leaving the dish half uneaten and complaining, that item wasn’t comped either.
Calamari stripes are amazing
Live musicians were great as well
Very friendly and pleasant workers! Menu has slot of different selections. I had fish with fries, very good. We also had their nachos with kalua pig n fried calamities both were very good. Husband had prime rib n crab legs he said it was really good!
Keoki’s was our backup after the 1849 Eating House cancelled all reservations due to a COVID incident.
I ordered the spinach ravioli which arrived in a sea of summer squash “soup!” I had to fish for the ravioli which was way over cooked and gummy. Bad food by any measure. Thankfully, our waiter removed it from our bill. My sister ordered the hoisin ribs. They were OK. Nothing special.
It took 20 minutes to get a Diet Coke and a cocktail.
The music was nice. Raymond, our waiter, tried his best and was very pleasant.
I would not recommend.
Ambiance and live music was great, but the food was just okay and it felt like we were being rushed out the minute we sat down. Ordering was immediate (server came to us 3 times in probably 5-10minutes asking what we wanted). The food came quick which was nice, then we had to stop the waiter to ask for another drink with dinner (seemed like he was not going to ask). The check appeared immediately, despite us just receiving our second drinks and contemplating dessert. Overall a cool place, but didn’t enjoy the service or food. Maybe just go for drinks!
This restaurant is gorgeous. Open air with lush tropical foliage everywhere, it’s a special occasion type of restaurant. The food was very good. We shared an excellent Caesar salad. We both had prime rib which was outstanding. The only downside was that the mashed potatoes and carrots were cold. Drinks were also delicious.
The ambience is awesome - it feels like you are dining in the lush forest with live music. Tables are properly spaced out and feels covid safe. Food was just okay, pricey for sure. We liked the honey ribs appetizer a lot. The ahi tuna with taro crust was a bit bland but the shiitake mushrooms were great. The guava bbq chicken was cooked perfectly juicy but wasn't Smokey enough. Unfortunately the burger and Mac nut crusted fish were too dry and felt like they were under the heat lamp for too long (we waited quite a bit). I would still recommend coming here for drinks and for the views, just not a fan of the food. Note that shops and restaurants tend to close early in Poipu so plan ahead.
Terrible experience! Food was over priced. It took an hour to get our food . Our table was stuck in front of the exit to the kitchen and stairs, my chair was is the isle. People kept walking by and our waitress kept saying how sorry she was because our food was late and I had to ask her to even take our order. Totally not worth the money...
Food was great. Best on Kauai so far. Strip Calamari and Poke were incredible.
We ordered the Chefs Tasting Menu that’s offered from 4:00-5:30. The kale salad & muffins with honey/cinnamon butter were Very Good! The macadamia nut fish & ribs were just ok. It was our anniversary so were given a large piece of Hula Pie, complimentary. It was good also.
When we first walked in we were greeted with a big smile! The server was attentive in every detail...cocktails, warm bread and spread. The dinner was awesome and we finished with The hula pie! DELICIOUS
