We each got a different fish for dinner and every single one was outstanding. My husband and I had swordfish and it was the best swordfish dinner we have ever had! Even go back in a heartbeat! The waiter, Kevin, was incredibly attentive and helpful. Everything was fabulous!
If you wish to experience “old” Kauai dining, this is the place. Quite an experience. Food was delicious and the setting special. The music and hula dancer added to the evening. Every time I come to Kauai this will be included.
Fantastic food and wonderful live music. Can't beat the ambiance of the little brook and Island landscape
We had the best waiter Colin. Food was delicious. Loved the table we sat at away from all of the busyness and noise. Thank you Colin for the great service!!!!
Great food and ambience! Special birthday for my son.
Wonderful meal, excellent service for our anniversary.
Keokis has always been the go to for good fresh fish cooked almost anyway you want it. The staff is always really nice. They get you in quickly even when theyre busy. Casual yet nice hawaii feel. The live music is always awesome too! We are lucky enough to visit often. Keoki is always my choice for quick good and not super expensive food. We always take our visitors there at least once!
Get place to talke mother for her birthday. get ambiance, service and food. highly recommend
While it comes off as a tourist restaurant (complete with fake waterfalls, creeks, etc.), we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Best we have had on Kauai. We split a crab cake appetizer: Two, generous cakes, plumb with crab meat, with just the right amount of spice, served with a pickled hearts of palm-based salsa. For the mains, we took the server's suggestions for two different catches of the day (they had four--that in itself is impressive). My wife had "Keoki's Style" mong chong baked with basil and tomato. I had ahi. I inquired first about its quality: The waiter said it probably was not Sashimi grade A, more like B, so I asked for it to be seared medium rare. It was perfect. So was the service. Limited wine selections. If you like fresh fish, well prepared, and you are on the south shore of Kauai, this is your place. The only negative is the aforementioned waterfalls--if you're anywhere near them, they drown out conversation, no pun intended. Note: They often have local music earlier in the evening--we did not experience that, but when the music is on, the bar and some pupus may be a good bet.
Great ambiance, great food, our server Jeff was hilarious (looked and acted like Bill Murray)
We got sat right away, matching our reservations. We had Jason as a waiter who was terrific. His suggestions were great.
The father/daughter Hawai entertainment was fabulous.
Food terrific. I had the ribs which melted in my mouth. However, the mashed potatoes thatcame with, were uninspiring! Wife had a Pablo crusted fish done to perfection.
We will be back.
This restaurant has an outdoorsy, fun, low-lit atmosphere, which we loved. The food was very good, and the Hula Pie dessert was wonderful. In general, we feel that a meal that comes with the starter of salad or soup is a better value, and Keoki's meals do not. But it was a very fun evening, and the food was very good and well presented. We plan to visit again while we are here in Kauai.
One of our new favorite places.
Ambiance is fun and "tropical" - food was just okay. Service was slow.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday And enjoyed our dinner and the service very much. The staff was both polite and very helpful with their service and suggestions.
Ate here twice on our holiday and it was great both times.
We had our wedding reception years ago at Keoki’s and celebrate our anniversary every time we’re on the island. Terrific ambience for those special occasions.
Great service, delicious food and beautiful surroundings! Will be back!
Onion soup without puff pastry as described. Small bowl of broth with onion and a crouton. Waitress did not explain until I asked. I returned it.
Entrees were very good.
Music was too quiet to hear and no hula at all. I called to be sure of entertainment. We were there from 7 pm to 8.15pm.
We reserved on Open Table -very easy & our table was ready at our time. Excellent service . Waiter Mark explained all the differences in fish very well & our meal was excellent- nice presentation & delicious ! We will definitely come back next time we are in Kauai!
The food at Keoki's Paradise was delicious! The atmosphere was so beautiful. The service was outstanding and the live Hawaiian music really completed the whole experience.
MY DISH WAS SO OVER-SALTED (MAHI PANKO CRUSTED) I ALMOST SENT IT BACK, BUT I WAS WITH MY FAMILY AND DIDN'T WANT TO CAUSE A FUSS. IT IS THE FIRST TIME I EVER HAD A BAD MEAL THERE---
We dined at Keoki’s Paradise twice while staying in Poipu. The first night we enjoyed the nightly live music while dining. We had a delicious fish dinner prepared beautifully and had great service from Jessie. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. The ono, ahi and mahi were fresh and very tasty. They serve local fresh fish with delicious sides. The lava cake for dessert was outstanding. The second night we dined there we elected to be seated in the bar area with a more casual but equally fantastic menu. There were lots of tables and the service was very good. The fish tacos were delicious and the fresh fish served over rice and bok choy had an aoli sauce on top which paired beautifully with the mahi mahi. Great meals both times we dined at Keoki’s. I would highly recommend Keoki’s to anyone visiting Poipu.
We ate here on the last night of our honeymoon and it was our favorite place we ate our whole trip. The ambiance and the people are great. The live music was awesome.
My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon in Kauai. Our meal at Keoki’s was amazing! There was live music, delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, friendly helpful staff; everything was perfect!
Great ambience, good food somewhat spoiled by man at next table who thought he was the most interesting man in the world and wanted the whole restaurant to know....unbelievably loud! Management should have asked him to quiet down
We enjoyed our meals very much. Service was excellent & friendly. Nice atmosphere. Little pricey but worth it!!
Great steak, seafood? great service and all at a reasonable price. Can’t ask for more.
We love this place
Beautiful setting, server Sophia was lovely. Fish was dry and dare I say over cooked. Kale salad was awesome.
Unfortunately I wasn’t very impressed by food. Kale salad was not fresh at all. Portion was very small. Somehow still tasted decent with all the toppings. My husband ordered fish and it was tasty but the portion wasn’t very big at that price point. Service was nice but seemed not very prepared for special requests. Seems like people like it but I wouldn’t really recommend. We have found far better options on the island at similar price point and higher quality.
Disappointed you could only order from the restaurant menu, not the grill because we had reservations.
Keoki’s has a beautiful garden type atmosphere and terrific food. We visit this restaurant multiple times every Winter during our stay in Kauai. Their fish preparation is perfect with many options to choose from. Their Hula pie is a must after dinner.
Great place for a romantic dinner
Cozy tables by water with excellent food. Seafood risotto was our favorite and hula pie to die for.
The fish is the best on the south side of Kauai. The calamari appetizer is the best in the world. Service is impeccable. It's truly tropical. Leave room for the Hula Pie.
Kitschy, but somehow works. A lovely father/daughter singer/dancer performed while we were there. They were excellent and made the evening.
Good prime rib and Mac crusted fish. We split both and enjoyed the surf and turf. Hula pie to finish! Yummy. Service was great too.
Excellent food. We had fish and it was very fresh and wonderfully prepared. So delicious!
Waiter Tony was attentive without being intrusive. Had good understanding of wine list and the best pairings for various dishes.
Live music was your basic Hawaiian tunes- pretty meh.
