Kenny's Wood Fired Grill Ratings and Reviews
As always, Kenny's never disappoints! Service is always outstanding and the food is always amazing and delicious. Would highly recommend making reservations, even on a week night just to ensure you have a table. We went on a Monday and it was still packed both seating and at the bar. You also can't beat the Grey Goose on tap!
We went to Kenny's for my birthday. Since I'd been there a few times before I was expecting a great dining experience and I wasn't disappointed. The service was completely wonderful. I do not have one single complaint. The food, WOW! I had the fillet with lump crab meat and my spouse had the ribs. both were totally awesome. We knew we would be taking home leftovers because we shared the magnificent calamari and a house salad before our meals. I cannot over recommend this place. I love it and I believe you will love it too.
I’m so glad I found this place! It was perfect for my daughter and me and a good friend on a special night out. She loves steak, I love seafood. So we couldn’t have improved over some of the most tender filet we’d ever had along with fresh crab cakes. And to top it off, fabulous bread pudding and key lime pie. I’ll definitely be back!
This was our first time at Kenny's. We were promptly seated. Our server Mike was great, he introduced himself and greater us by name, which is a very nice touch. The food we ordered was as follows: the 1/2 crab cake that was delicious!!!! Entre: surf and turf special: 8oz filet with 2 scallops, meat cooked to perfection , the St Louis Ribs, OMG, great tasting ribs. The restaurant was a lot smaller than we had imagined, but the overall experience was wonderful. We will definitely be back!!
Hands down my favorite restaurant in Dallas! The service is impeccable and food is out of this world. Huge added bonus that they allowed customization to nearly every dish. The Kenny group of restaurants know what they're doing. They had a porterhouse steak had a speak and it was cooked to perfection! Every side dish shines as well.
We've been going to to Kenny's for 10 years & it never disappoints. When on a Thursday night early and by 7pm the place was full. Martini glasses were quickly replaced with new, ice cold glasses after about 10 minutes, including new blue cheese stuffed olives. A nice touch. Popovers were excellent. We split 3 appetizers - lobster bisque, French onion soup & grilled oysters. Oysters were the standout. Don't miss them. We split a special 1 filet mignon topped with lobster meat and bernaise sauce. Perfectly cooked steak & lobster w/ velvety sauce. We split the creme brûlée for dessert. Outstanding service rounded out the night. Highly recommend.
A friend from out of town wanted to go to Kenny's because she'd enjoyed an earlier visit. I made rez and good thing because even on Monday night Kenny's was packed! (word to the wise) We had a little wait but were soon seated and served by Renée who rocked! She kept our drinks cold and sorted out the menu. The hubs couldn't decide between pork or short ribs, so Renée offered half-n-half (hubs had lunch the next day). The Oscar, my choice, was swordfish that night--grilled and flaky; best I've had in ages. It had a well-balanced béarnaise to complement the fish and crab--creamy but light and not too tart (leftovers tasty, too). Our friend enjoyed shrimp, scallops with cheesy grits--good combo--scallops seared nicely. We enjoyed sides for the table; wood-grilled asparagus, brussels sprouts, and bubbie's potato cakes went well w/fish and meat. It was a fun eating and drinking experience made better by outstanding service. Thanks, Kenny's!
First time dining at Kenny's Wood Fire Grill and it won't be our last. My boyfriend and I tried the pork chop with creamed spinach and mac and cheese and it was so flavorful and delish. I also tried the Peartini, which it was good as well and the waitress swapped the drink out with another cold martini glass as you drink it down . The service from the waitress was very attentive and consistently checked in on us. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for great ambiance, cuisine, cocktails and service.
2nd time visiting and did not disappoint! The wait staff is extra friendly, they called us by name and acknowledged our anniversary (Information from reservation). Started with the Ahi Nachos, which were so yummy. Could be a meal for 1 person. Then, we had the wedge salad that was also great! I had the Filet w/ added shrimp and scallop. My husband had the special pork loin. Everything was delicious. The pork (though as described) was a little rare in the middle, which wasn't a big deal for us because we were stuffed and took it to go anyway. The mac & cheese is to die for!! And, I almost forgot the popovers that are delicious as well! Anyway, enough said... Kenny's is a MUST GO for everyone... Great Staff, Service, and Food!! Can't wait to go back!
This was a casual dinner after a team meeting. The service was great and the menu had a lot of variety. We had 3 appetizers...Fried Calamari, Spinach/Artichoke Wontons and the Steak Crostini. The calamari was excellent, and the wontons were yummy. I was a bit disappointed in the Sirloin Crostini.....the steak was a bit chewy and didn't have a good sear on it and the crostini was too hard. Our dinner was good, but some of the entrees were almost cold and the Brussel sprout side although tasty were also cool.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! I had made a reservation for my fiancè’s birthday, and they accommodated my special request AND gave him a surprise gift card from the restaurant to him. The food was great and the service was better! There are no words for the gratitude I have for this restaurant. Love, Love, Love!!!
Kenny's Wood Fired Grill has never disappointed us one time. You can find great food in many places around DFW BUT the service at Kenny's elevates the experience to whole new levels. Of course, the food is incredible right down to the pop over that is served before the meal...AWESOME!!!!
Great place! The drive up is not impressive- but don’t let that fool you ! Once your inside it’s VERY impressive. The drinks are ice cold- and if your taking a while to drink it- your waitress/waiter changes out your glass with a cold one. The service is impeccable!! Our waiter was Richard and he was outstanding. He remembered our names, was very observant to our needs, polite, and delivered some of the best service I’ve ever had. Dinner comes with a popover - yum. Coconut shrimp appetizer had the biggest shrimp ( you get 3 or 4) I’d ever seen ! Richard said the pork was good for an entree and he was right! Yummy and big enough to split. My hubby and I like ours cooked different “doneness “ so I folded and said we could have it his way. Surprise!! Richard made sure my half was cooked the way I wanted. 😊. Dessert was good- especially the peanut butter pie. We will most definitely go back!! It was a very very nice night !
