Great choice. Consistently great service and food. This is a constant in our world. Only downside is that it is loud. If you have people with hearing issues, they may be challenged. We don’t normally by did this time. Nonetheless, we love Kenny’s and will be back soon.
This was our first visit to Kenny's Wood Fired Grill and it delivered to and above our expectations. We had 7:30 reservations and although we arrived about 15 minutes early they were able to seat us right away despite it being a busy evening.
We were seated in a back corner booth and our server John was very attentive and helpful in recommending both drinks and dishes. He kept a close eye on our table and we were well taken care of the whole time.
The Lobster Mac n Cheese was unique and amazing. Three of us shared it as appetizer and then mopped up the rest of the sauce with our brioche rolls.
The Pork Chop was absolutely amazing and definitely the best pork any of us three had ever eaten anywhere. It was perfectly brined/cured with balanced herbal notes and a nice crisp seared crust and literally melted in our mouths!
My wife had the special of surf and turf of an 8oz filet topped with seared scallops. The scallops were large and seared very nicely and lightly seasoned so the taste of the actual scallops really shined. The filet was cooked a perfect medium rare with a nice crust and just the right amount of smoke flavor from the wood fire.
I had the 16oz Ribeye but asked that it be prepared by topping it with Sauteed Onions and Mushrooms , White Cheddar Cheese, and Bacon (like the normally do for the Strip Steak) Again, a perfect medium rare with a nice flavorful crust from the fire mingled well with the flavors from the toppings and was another crowd pleaser.
Unfortunately we enjoyed our dinner so much that we didn't save any room for desert so that will have to be for a future visit.
In summary, Kenny's exceeded all our expectations and what really stood out was the quality, flavor, and presentation of the food (my top priorities) which was complemented by excellent service in a fun (albeit a bit noisy) upscale-casual food focused environment that is open late and perfect for special occasions or date night.
We highly recommend trying Kenny's!
Food was great, as always. Entrees were hot but sides were on the cool side. Our waiter promptly took them away and brought fresh, hot sides. I know this was an unusual event based on previous experience but the wait staff quickly made it right so I only mention as why I didn't give the food a 5 star rating.
We ate at Kenny’s with family over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We were in town visiting our daughters. Atmosphere, food and service were all amazing. We each had something different and everyone loved their dinner. Kyle was our waiter, he did a great job explaining the items on the menu and the nightly specials. He kept us full on drinks, and checked on us regularly. We’ll be back!
As always, Kenny's never disappoints! Service is always outstanding and the food is always amazing and delicious. Would highly recommend making reservations, even on a week night just to ensure you have a table. We went on a Monday and it was still packed both seating and at the bar. You also can't beat the Grey Goose on tap!
