Dinner was going well until the bill came. Found out we were charged a "service charge". This was not communicated to us at any time while dining. Wasn't mentioned until we questioned the check. Would be nice is diners are given prior notice of this charge.
Service was great, menu was a bit watered down but still awesome. Hate to see them go!
Raged into the night
Food was fantastic and the Owner (Josh) was exceptionally accommodating and nice. Eilleen (Hostess) was extremely pleasant and friendly. Elliot (waiter) was very cordial and attentive. I highly recommend this establishment. Much better overall experience than RA.
Great location before going to a Mavs game for friends, family, or clients!
The restaurant has taken a nose dive since my last visit about a year ago. Menu was limited and the food was too expensive for the poor quality we received. Service was also mediocre at best. Don't bother going here as there are much better sushi restaurants in Dallas.
My husband and I were treated so well for our anniversary. First, Josh who is amazing, sat us in a private booth with a curtain and checked on us throughout our meal. Our waiter Elliot was awesome too. Secondly, the sushi and sashimi were wonderful. Our favorite dish was the 7 Spice Dry Rub Seared Tuna. I also enjoyed the cocktails. I cannot recall the name of the cocktail but it was made with rosewater, Gin, and Champagne. I substituted Vodka instead of the Gin and WOW is was so good. Thank you for making our first anniversary and pre Bon Jovi concert dinner PERFECT.
Service was awful. Waiter kept making unnecessary comments about items we ordered. We ordered a bunch of apps..he said lets just start you with 2 and go from there. I ordered several drinks that they didn't have so when I settled on 1 that they had, he said "you are all over the place". The food was salty. Just not the greatest experience for a restaurant that had such good reviews on opentable. Maybe it was on "off" night since it was Valentines Day.
If you are in the area and want good sushi, seafood and Japanese fare, this is a great place to eat. If you don't live in the area, however, you might want to find something closer to home as it's simply not worth the drive to pay 20% more for what you could get at one of hundred other quality seafood/sushi joints in Dallas (looking at you, Blue Fish). I guess the rent in this area is REALLY high.
We enjoyed the food and will definitely be back. Our waiter Elliot was great, enjoyable to talk to.
This place is not what it used to be. The sushi was below average, the service was horrible. I have had better sushi from grocery stores...
Hands down one of he best sushi restaraunts in Dallas! I would even say it is better than Nobu. The freshest fish and the yummiest rolls!
It was an amazing experience, parking was a bit hard due to the country music concert but over it was good
Staff was great realizing we were going to a concert and speedy food delivery
Overall it was a good experience. Food was tasty. Menu was very confusing. Not your standard sushi place. Great place for the hip/in crowd looking for something different.
