Kylie, our server was very sweet and Tara the manager, a rock star as always! I brought a fiend that had never dined there before and now she is a fan, Thank you once again for making this a special day.
Restaurant week
What a GREAT NIGHT!
Manager Tara on duty was just awesome!
Our server, Amanda R, was such a delight!
The restaurant world needs more servers like her!
Our dinner was perfect, the night was a perfect date #2 post retirement !!
Only sad Corey was not there ( the chef) but seeing Tara and our great experience made a wonderful night!
Went here for restaurant week. It was very busy when we arrived for our 6:15 reservation (Sunday). The food was very good, excellent steak.
We like the place, and go there a lot. However, on this occasion, we ordered a salad and an entree and they came at virtually the same time, so when the salad was finished, the entree was cold. Need a better expediter, perhaps.
Otherwise, the service was good and the food was excellent.
Wife's chicken was delicious. My steak was pretty good. Server wasnt all that great. Maybe he was new. That said, it was a good dining experience. We'll be back.
My food was cold, I had the 6 oz sirloin. The mashed potatoes were cold. The only thing warm was the bread.
Took the husband out for Valentines Day.
This was our second time here. It was busy but our wait want more than 5-10 minutes. Our server was fabulous. I rarely get ribs, but I tried the Spare Ribs and they were delightful.
Valentine’s Day
Great place. Good food and wonderful service. We will go here again.
The Sunday brunch food was sub standard, not hot and had to wait for refills at the buffet.
Just a basic lunch.
We didn’t realize we couldn’t order off the Chop House menu and were restricted to the Tavern menu.
Still OK but a little disappointed.
Best patty melt I have ever eaten.
Service was great.
Great service
Quiet atmosphere for conversation
Good food
They grill more toward pink do ask for well done if you want medium well
The wait was a little long, but the server was very good. The menu was good and the food was even better. I would recommend Kendall's to others, and also return on a regular basis.
Another fabulous meal last time we were ok m for Saturday night date night.
Always a good choice, and I was able to get a reservation on short notice. Service was decent.
I went with my wife for New Year’s Eve. At 8 pm we were seated at a large group table on a corner, opposite of another party of two at this table that was meant for 12, very odd, the table next to us had around 14 people so not very quiet. The order of food delivery was screwed up to. We were in the middle of our pre
Entree food when the main course arrived. My wife’s pasta dish was good, my sirloin skewer was average. This chophouse’ quality of meat is decent but not great. I had. Agony car that was to be good to use in 1.5 hrs on 1/1 but they couldn’t use it. I wouldn’t waste your time
Our meal was excellent. Glad we decided to go there for our New Year's Eve dinner with some friends.
Much better experience than our last visit. Drinks and food was good and a great value!
Everything about our evening was good, service, food and ambience with one exception. We were seated next to the windows/door and it was very cold (my wife wore her coat the entire meal), we noticed other guests seated near the windows also wearing their coats.
Service wasn't as good as it usually is. The food was good, although my sandwich was cold by the time I got it. Also, the restaurant was so dusty that I could write my name on the ledges.
The meal was awesome that evening. Great service also.
We enjoyed our time and the food. The service was good and we were placed near the fireplace on a cold night.
So, another place close to our house that we've managed to ignore for years, but we're glad we finally went and will definitely return. The restaurant has a very cozy up north lodge feel to it. The bar area is very big, and the dining room nearby was separate enough to bring the noise level way down. There is also a very large deck for outside dining and views of the golf course. The menu ranges from sports bar to fine comfort dining, and prices are very reasonable. Drinks are also reasonable priced and were well made. Wine selection is pretty basic, but good. The food was good. Only complaint was that the huge onion rings were bland (breading and the onions). My wife enjoyed her French Dip. I had the St. Louis Style Spareribs and asked for the sauce on the side. Seasoning was good, with a nice little kick. Meat was a little overdone, but we were there towards the end of the day so the ribs had probably been prepared much earlier. They smoke and roast right in the open kitchen, which was fun to watch. You can also see that the kitchen is very clean and organized. Looking forward to going back next Summer to sit on the deck, but will likely go in the Winter too as it is a warm and cozy setting.
It started as a good experience; service was good, nice ambiance next to the fire, etc. That is until we felt like we were a burden to the restaurant. Starting at 8pm they started making it clear that they were ready to close the restaurant. Keep in mind, on their hours it states they close at 10pm. They turned the lights on bright from dim, they were tearing down the kitchen loudly, they turned off the music and the service staff was staring at us. The manager even shouted across the restaurant “we are locking the doors in 10 minutes.” All before 10pm.
We still had drinks that we hadn’t finished when he said this. I have worked in restaurants for years and the customer service here was deplorable. Quality service is so important to the dining experience, otherwise patrons would just get takeout. We must not be the only people that have had this experience because there were no more than 20 guests at any given time in the restaurant. I will not be back and most importantly I will not be recommending Kendall’s to anyone.
Love this place. Food and always excellent and the sangrias are delicious. Definitely my favorite restaurant.
The restaurant and bar are usually busy but we got seated right away with our reservation. Waiter was awesome, very outgoing and attentive, food was just ok.
Very enjoyable!
Reliable nicer local spot. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
We love Kendall's. It's close to home, cozy atmosphere, great food, great service. Nice view (from the deck in the summer).
We like this place. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. We both started out with soup and they brought out warm bread. I had a ribs and chicken special. My wife had a beef skewer with potatoes and a nice assortment of grilled veggies. Overall nice experience.
Service was less than good. We frequently go to Kendalls’s and have never had poor service. Waiter didn’t take away empty glasses and plates (had to ask), one check, (didn’t even ask how we wanted it), sat and chatted with our friends for a while, (never game back and asked if we wanted anything). Just poor.
Great waitress Leah, made my birthday a great event.
The lights were flickering the whole time. Our server also noticed and attempted to fix the issue but could not.
It was like a low light strobe very unpleasant.
We wanted to play Mafia Trivia, it was Fun! Food & Service were great!!
My steak was a little tough and done for being requested as medium cooked. Really good server. Decent drink prices
Mortgage payoff
Beautiful restaurant terrific patio. Love the lunch specials.
Kendall's is a north metro gem! The quality of the food is outstanding, the cocktail and bar selections are great and the service is exeptional. It's a little out of the way off Main Street in the Bunker Hills Golf Course, but its well worth the drive. Recently, they have afforded Kendall's patrons reserved parking up front so you no longer have to compete with the golfing crowd or event participants and park hundreds of yards away. It has become a favorite of ours.
