   Pricey, food was phenomenal, steaks tasty and juicy, perfectly cooked, love the garlic. Sides were all tasty and plentiful. Sweet potato soufflés was the best I ever had. Waitress was nice, professional, knowledgeable, hardworking and attentive. Desserts were tremendous. One of the best places to eat in all of Cleveland and Akron. Perfect evening. We have dined here many times, always leave happy and looking forward to the next visit. Great value for dinner.

   The fries had a hard substance in it. I cracked a Tooth bitting into it. Now I need a cap. I’m a regular there but now I’m Leary about returning

   Enjoyed our Annivesary dinner. I ordered the crab legs. Ate them, but had a more fishy smell and overcooked a bit. Ordered them a year ago, they were excellence. Husband had steak. Excellent choice. Enjoyed his meal extremely. Abilgail, our waitress was SUPBERB - Excellent service, personal, courteous, made the visit comfortable. Manager introduced herself. Was very friendly and professional. All staff was great.

   Perfect, as always. It’s not the great food and wine that make this our favorite place, it’s the staff. We were served by Madeline and also got to talk with one of our favorite managers, Jess, who always ensured we have a perfect experience.

    Great date night spot, or to celebrate an occasion. They are willing to accommodate bigger parties or just keep it small with 2. We had an amazing experience and will visit again! Food was delicious and service was excellent!

    Just average. Service was spotty, but it was Valentine’s Day. So it was quite busy. It took ages for our server to complete service. Weren’t offered a bread basket until our entree salads came out. We ordered the beef Wellington and the 1lb Lobster tail with a side of mushroom risotto. The Wellington was good. The lobster tail was severely over cooked, it was dry and tough. Only a few bites of it were eaten, we decided to take the left over meat and shell home to make a stock and give to the dogs as a treat. The mushroom risotto was…. Watery? Not the texture per de, but the flavor. It was dull and flavorless. Just tasted like it was cooked in a mix of 90% water and 10% broth. Took a couple of bites and called it quits. All in all, it wasn’t that great of an experience, not what you would expect from Ken Stewart’s, especially with the price tag attached to it. I’m upset we spent nearly $350 on that meal. We frequent Kens often, but i think we’ll be giving it a bit of a break as the last few visits felt like a waste.

    We were seated promptly and greeted by numerous staff. The valet was a welcome option on a busy evening. The food choices and presentation was excellent as usual. There was no apparent rush. The bill had a surprise of credit card cost which we had not experienced here before. Also it was apparently added in before the tax was applied to the total. That probably needs clarified or notice thereof given.

    Everything was amazing! Alyssa was our server and she was exceptional. She recommended the salmon and it was the best I ever dad. Our wedding anniversary falls on Valentine’s Day and they treated us like a king and queen. Thank you!

    Simple…very good food and great service. HOWEVER - the wonderful server having to rattle off 30 items not on the menu is an impressive memory feat but my memory fogs immediately - I’m not there to test my mental acuity. STOP THIS PRACTICE OR LIMIT IT TO 2 or 3 items or hand out a separate “Chef’s feature of the day” menu PLUS - that seems like a practice that was in vogue in the ‘80s and 90s but not impressive today. STOP DOING THIS…PLEASE! Otherwise- it was wonderful.

    This is our third time at the Lodge. It’s simply amazing. Our server was attentive, her wine etiquette was almost perfect, the food was timed perfectly, we never felt rushed and the food was great. The beef Wellington had a beautiful pastry and the medium rare temp was spot on as it was with our rack of lamb. We also started off with the very fancy fries lol. They were great. This place is great for a special occasion or just a night out because we didn’t want to cook. Thanks for being so consistent. Oh….. the wine prices are great as well. Most places mark their wine up 100 to 150%. I’d say the lodge is closer to 75%. Great value.

    The staff at KSL are amazing from the moment you drop off at the complimentary valet through the rest of the evening. The food was great and our waitress Jenteal (I hope I spelled that right) was knowledgeable on the menu and always on time. My wife and I always enjoy KSL and will be back again I’m sure.

    Ate in the bar. A little too crowded and noisy for my taste. However, the food was great and the service was good. This was my son’s first time at the lodge and he said he would definitely come back to celebrate a special occasion.

    It has been 3 years since I have visited this restaurant. My son chose this restaurant for his birthday celebration. Our food was mediocre. Room temperature was chilly. Had to put my scarf over my legs to be sort of comfortable. Chairs were covered in crumbs. I noticed when I went to move my chair closer to the table. They should have brushed the chairs off. Evidently they brushed the crumbs off the table on to the chairs. I expected a better experience than what I received for a $600 plus bill. I reasonably can afford these prices but the value proposition was just not there.

    First time to Ken Stewarts lodge, the ambience was old school. booths along the sides with tables in the middle. the tables were too close to the booths, people walking by, other waiters, patrons etc. were too close and one waiter with cart almost knocked wine bottle of the table so we moved it. then the tables discussion was easily heard. Just too close for a romantic meal. Now the food was good but not exceptional the major issue is there pricing is higher than other comparable high end restaurants in the cleveland area $95 for 6oz filet and 8 oz lobster tail was a little high. wine was reasonably priced and very good.

    Service was wonderful as always with Rich bartending. The steak tartare and cocktails were wonderful. Missed the mark on a couple items, French onion soup was a bit too salty and had a slight burned flavor to it, crème brûlée was an interesting consistency and had a very strong egg flavor. Otherwise everything was wonderful. As I said, tartare was great, filet trio hit the spot, and the tiramisu was not only massive but delicious :) also the twice baked potato?!?! Huge and delicious.

    Ken Stewart’s is consistently good. We have been coming to the restaurant for years and it rarely disappoints. Last night we celebrated a birthday and everyone’s entree was delicious.

    Our servers Melissa and Alexandra were phenomenal and went above and beyond. Our meals were delicious as always! The only issue we had was when we arrived two minutes late for our reservation, and we were waiting in line to check in. The hostess Jessica was helping a couple in front of us who did not have a reservation find a table, which she was able to do. We then checked in, and Jessica said to her asst, “I will look around to see if I can locate a cleaned table.” Thought that was a bit odd since we had made a reservation, but I then went to the restroom, came back to find my husband still waiting, while others were being seated who arrived after us. I then asked Jessica if everything was ok with our reservation, and she responded, “well since you were a couple minutes late, I gave your table to someone else.” The message seems to be if you walk in without a reservation on a busy Saturday night, you will get seated promptly, but if you are two minutes late with a reservation, you will likely not get seated.
