We had a lovely evening celebrating my sister’s and my BIL’s Anniversary. My husband loves this place, it is his favorite restaurant. We sat on the patio which is just lovely. Our server Sandy was beyond wonderful!
Ken Stewarts Grille has been a favorite of ours for a long time. We recently celebrated our 43rd Wedding Anniversary there. In addition to the outstanding cuisine served at this restaurant, KSG is noted for its attention to detail and making the dining experience second to none. On this occasion however, we were disappointed that none of the staff acknowledged our anniversary: not the girl at check-in, nor our server, nor the "manager" on duty that night. This information was clearly noted when I reserved the table online. Further, while there were a couple of other missteps on the part of the server that evening, the fact that she didn't engage with us much was perhaps the most disappointing. This has always been an endearing quality about the service at KSG, but on this particular evening, it was pretty much "business as usual".
KSG has worked tirelessly to place itself in a category above most area dining establishments. We sincerely hope that the restaurant will continue to exceed its diners every expectation in the future.
Extensive menu, diverse and tantalizing. The two of us shared 7 different appetizers as our meal, all excellent, enough left over to take home for another meal. The Buffalo Cauliflower is to die for.
Great food great service
Great meal, service and overall environment for business meeting. Highly recommend
I ordered the Sea Bass that was not done correctly. I couldn’t get a knife thru. The 2nd piece was not much better. However, the staff was great about making it right. Ken Stewart’s has always been a gold standard for fine dining. Everyone has an off night once in awhile
Stakes were excellent, twice baked potato, excellent, tableside Caesar salad okay, oysters were okay, muscles appetizer excellent, service/ambience excellent
Our server Julene (?) was amazing. I ordered the pretzel crusted perch and found it too crunchy and batter too thick and tasteless. I grew up on Lake Erie eating perch and consider myself somewhat knowledgeable in this case and it just didn’t taste good. In this case simply prepared would have been better:)
Ambiance is very nice. Service was good. Only complaint is it's prices on entrees are a bit extreme. A medallion trio was $78 and a walley entree was $40!! I can get much better steaks at any steakhouse, (Flemmings, Hyde Park, Ruth's Chris, Eddie Merlots) for lower prices.
The food is always outstanding. The service tonight was amazing. It was a large party of 11 and Logan and Sarah were attentive and just awesome!
Good food, slow service.
We always enjoy our meal here. Excellent service and food.
Food was great. However, it took longer than expected for the food to be served. Also, my food was cold.
My wife and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary with family. The experience as expected, was great. The quality of the food and level of service were great! We are repeat customers for this reason.
Ken Stewart’s Lodge is fun, but slightly overpriced. Our server was certainly on the ball, and her service was near flawless. For being of the price tag it is, Ken Stewart’s is pretty fun.
Celebrated my husband’s 61st birthday. Our waitress Rochelle was amazing! The food was great, we had fresh crab legs, melt in your mouth good!
Good food. Good service.
Over priced for dinner but reasonable for lunch.
Hit and miss on service, took quite a long time to get food and to get drinks replenished. Very expensive restaurant. 3 shrimp at $18 for appetizers and most sides at $10 or more make this an extremely expensive restaurant, we ordered no alcohol, 2 burgers and 1 soup and only 2 desserts ordered for the table as part of our 8 person table and paid well over $400 with tip. I guess for such a large tip, I would expect quicker service or for the server to check back at the table more often such as receiving the bill to a bit more quickly. nearly 2 hours for the meal and the restaurant was not crowded at all. With that said the food was very good and the service was not bad, just slow.
We had a perfect dinner for 8 after our quarterly board meeting. Extensive wine list with many reasonably priced selections. The menu looked terrific, but most opted for one of the specials. All were pleased with their selections. Desserts did not disappoint either!
I usually have no problems here, that's why it's one of my favorite local haunts.
This is a Great place to take a customer, everyone was vey friendly and very helpful
It was perfect as usual. Ken Stewart’s Lodge never disappoints.
Seemed as if our food may have sat a bit before coming to our table.
Great food, as always
Everything was wonderful as we celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday!
Absolutely wonderful!!!! Food, service, atmosphere! We had company in town from Dayton and they loved everything. Anxious for another visit so they can return to Ken Stewart’s Lodge. Thank you so much!
We loved the Halibut. It was a very tasty filet! Our server was very attentive. Of course, we'll be back soon.
Great friendly service
All personnel were courteous.
Food was amazing
Great food !! Everything was exceptional!! Ambience was wonderful!
We’ve been to Ken Stewart’s many times. The ambience, expert and knowledgeable staff along with vast menu options never disappoint. I highly recommend that you go there whenever the opportunity presents itself. You will not be disappointed.
The food was amazing the waitress was very knowledgeable and gave good recommendations
The Maker's Manhattan was prepared to perfection. The steak was delicious. The service was great! I would eat here every day if I was extremely wealthy.
We went to Ken Stewart’s Lodge for Easter brunch. The menu provided lots of options. Our group enjoyed the oysters Rockefeller and calamari appetizers - - both delicious. Several of us had prime rib, cooked perfectly to the desired temperature. Dessert did not disappoint - - especially the homemade banana split ice cream. Service was terrific.. Always a special day at Ken Stewart’s.
It was Fabulous!
The filet is always perfectly cooked.
One of my favorite places.
Easter - as always, the service was outstanding, the food was excellent and the atmosphere, unbeatable. I love going to Ken Stewarts for a variety of occasions. The quality and service can’t be beat!
Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious
We asked for the quietest Room and we were given the wine room which is an increase self in a closed room in the restaurant which was absolutely perfect for us. Waitress was spot on good and the food was excellent I would heartily recommend this restaurant
