Ken Stewart's Grille Ratings and Reviews
Like your favorite pair of shoes Ken Stewart’s is comfortable and your don’t want it to change. We ordered heavily off the special’s menu with Burrata cheese, Sashimi and Chilean Seabass. We also had Beef Tartare and the most amazing cashew encrusted chicken breast ever. Fantastic service. I have been coming to the Grille since late 80’s. Very rarely disappointed.
Our experience was amazing!!!! Jason our server was fantastic. The food was top notch while the atmosphere relaxing, as well as romantic! A Valentine’s Day to remember!!!! Thank you to the entire staff for a quality dining experience. We will definitely be back.
This restaurant is by far one of the best places to dine in the Akron area. It was my parents 60th anniversary and my mother just had surgery, so we could not have a large party. When we arrived, they had a fusion in the seat for my mother, superior service, delicious food, fabulous desert for my parents, but the key to such a successful evening was in the details I.e. the cushion for seat, making my parents feel very special, a wait staff that exceeded expectations. My parents left and said they were so grateful they did not have a big party because the intimsteceetting made it one of their best anniversaries. Thank you. Thank you Ken Stewarts!!!
Weve heard about KS for years, and weve been wanting to go. So we finally made it. The server was outstanding. Really knew his stuff. Restaurant was nice. The menu however was extremely limited and way over priced for what you were getting. Weve dined at many high end restaraunts in the area. The money isnt the issue. It's the value. Very high price, small portions, small selection. The food was good of course, but no better than less expensive steak places in the area. For less money i could get the same if not better food, more selection and larger portions. Im glad i got it marked off my list of places to try, but unfortunately i would not go back again, nor would i recommend it. I just felt that i greatly overpaid for an above average meal..
We had excellent service and the food was amazing!!! Two of the guests in our party had not been to Ken Stewart's for quite a number of years and just raved about the appetizers and dinner. The atmosphere is always great and the service is top notch! Thanks for another great experience at Ken Stewart's.
This is must if you are looking for an upscale restaurant to celebrate any type of special occasion!!!
The food is amazing along with excellent service!!!
Thank you Ken Stewart's for an outstanding night for my wife's birthday!!!
My wife ordered the 16oz stuffed lobster tail.
My daughter ordered the small filet
My mother in law ordered the halibut
My father in law ordered the scallop special
I ordered the double order of King Crab legs and was not disappointed.
Slightly dated inside. Odd art work. Those are not big issues. We ordered the specials. The appetizer was good. The steaks were under cooked. Very amateur for a place that is known for their steaks. When making the waiter aware of this he made excuses for the way the steaks were cooked he claimed it was because the size of the steak. When I go to a place that advertises itself as a premiere steak house I expect an expertly prepared steak. If your the best be the best. I know you can do better.
We’ve been to this place before but for NYE I thought it would be more special. The server was average, but not top notch and attentive like I’d expect one to be at a place like this. The au gratin potatoes we did not care for. The steak was tender but could have been seasoned better. The Caesar salad was ok. The food was expensive and frankly I think the food was much tastier on our last visit earlier in 2017.
Arrived 15 minutes before reservation and was greeted rudely by the manager. Almost left but the bar tendered encourage us to stay. Food was prepared correctly and was good, however my wife's $46 small filet was perhaps the smallest steak we have ever been served.
We are long time regulars, and total cost is never a concern, however fairness is an issue. At this point the cost versus value equilibrium has been exceeded. Dinner is simply cost prohibitive in this competitive market.
We were disappointed by the overall value of Ken Stewart’s. This was our first visit to the restaurant. We were treated quite rudely by the bartender (and observed her treat staff rudely as well), which started the visit on a poor note. They played loud hip-hop music throughout the entire meal, which made conversation difficult. Lastly, while the food was good, it did not warrant the price tag. We do not plan on returning any time soon.
Terrible table in lounge, pinned behind service tray table. Rarely saw our waitress. Very noisy party of inebriates across the railing. Table was tiny, couldn't accommodate three diners. Not at all what I would expect, and the Lounge area wasn't even fully utilized.
