   Our meal was delicious and our server, Matt, was fantastic. The only negative is that this restaurant has chosen to apply a 3% surcharge to credit card payments. This is a fine dining establishment and the vast majority of diners will pay via credit card. In fact the charge was already automatically added on to our bill before it was presented to us. We have never seen this at any other fine dining establishments, and quite honestly find it to be quite tacky.

   Very impressed with the warm greeting from the hosts as well as the excellent, professional service from our server, Lauren, during lunch yesterday. Lauren's professionalism as well as people skills make Ken Stewart's look good. Ken Stewart's is a staple of Akron and they don't take that lightly. Well done K.S.

   Food was very expensive. My yellowtail appetizer was horrible. The grouper entrée was just ok and a very small portion. Lambchop was $70. way overpriced for the amount of the serving.

    We truly enjoyed the entire experience. Everything was wonderful. The manager even came by a couple of times to make sure we were having a wonderful dining experience. Our server was phenomenal. The food was exquisite, cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back.

    Excellent meal. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly. My only issue is that the diner should be notified when making the reservation that there is a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. I would have brought my checkbook or cash.

    Excellent service. Nice ambiance. Two out of four steaks we ordered were not that great (overdone). Sides were great. For the price, I expected everyone to be wowed by their meal and it just didn't happen.

    My Tuna app was very Dry and seem old My Stake was ordered medium rare came out medium. Wife and Aunt ordered crab legs mostly knuckle. We used to go to Ken's often, Very disappointed! What Happened Ken? Recommend Maybe!

    Food and service are very good, however I have two complaints. First, we ordered deserts to go. I ordered carrot cake and the wife ordered the bread pudding. When we got home she got her bread pudding, but they gave me coconut cream pie instead of carrot cake.😫 They also include a 3% credit card fee on the total bill. Other fine dining restaurants in the area don’t charge this fee. Not sure we will be going back if this practice continues. 🙁

    Ate on sat night, was raining and sister restaurant lost power so they suddenly had a rush of customers. I’m currently following intermittent fasting so I had about 2 hours before I don’t eat anything else. The waitress said things were busy and hectic, but kept assuring us it wouldn’t be much longer. After 2 hours we had drinks and appetizers, but wasn’t close to getting our meal as the kitchen was behind. At this point we had to leave as I wasn’t eating anything else and my wife was falling asleep, she had just worked a 10 hour shift to rush home so we could eat. We went to hostess to explain why we were leaving and pay for drinks and app. At this time the owner came by and apologized and said our wait was unacceptable and explained a number of issues they were having that night and comp drinks and app, then proceeded to give us a gift card to come back. They seemed to be truly sorry. We understand issues happen and we are looking forward to coming back and giving them a try again soon. The food we did have was excellent and we are definitely coming back.

    I think there was some issues with a power outage at another of their restaurants so staff was very busy making it right with some guests near us. Our waitress was very knowledgeable but was distracted numerous times...even while taking orders or explaining specials. The meal was paced to possibly a little slow, but nothing egregious. The food was well prepared and presented. Everything was cooked to order. It just seemed everyone was a little off their game. If I had to say anything I believe the food is a little pricey for what is offered. I would recommend for my more adventurous foodie friends, as there were may items for folks who are much more attuned to the food scene...that is not us.

    We took my mother there as she was in town visiting from FLorida. Food was incredible and ambiance was second to none in this area. A hit in the pricey side..but it was a great indulgence

    Food was Amazing! Best salmon I've ever had in my life. Everything both my husband and I tried was amazing. Servicer was very good; she was on top of everything all night and they were pretty busy too. Food and service 10/10. Decore and music a little weird though. There is a VERY large picture of a cowboy in the main dining area that is very "Interesting " to put it very lightly. Music was VERY loud and distracting at times. Thats the only reason I took off a star in my review. Everything else was very worth it. Neither my husband nor I drink so we didn't try any alcoholic beverages so I can't really say anything about that, but I see some those others ordered, and they did look very good. Definitely will be trying Ken Stewarts other two restaurants when we want to go on a nice upscale date again.
