Ken and Sue's has been a neighborhood staple for a long time. Their food is always fresh and always yummy. The drinks are diverse. Their service is great. I've been a fan since the beginning. Where other long time local places have changed up and seem to no longer meet the bar of excellence, Ken and Sue's continues their tradition of a well crafted commitment to community and fantastic foodie experience without pretentiousness.

As always it was great except we had the special which was prime rib. The sauce the poured all over it was disappointing. It was supposed to be au juice and it had some thickness and red color. Not good and took away from the taste of meat. Just put in on the side and ket folks dip. Did not like the sauce at all and if we had it on the side we could have decided to use it or not. Really made the dinner not so good. Disappointing for Ken and Sues. We go there all the time. Please pass on to them. Just put the sauce on the side instead of pouring it all over the meat very heavy.

As expected, Ken and Sue's was a great choice for a lunch get-together with friends. They have good lunch specials and a little bit of everything to satisfy a variety of food cravings. The salmon flatbread is one of my favorite appetizers. I tried the salmon sandwich. It was tasty but a bit too much bun for my liking. The accompanying salad was fresh but the dressing lacked flavor. I was able to use my Locals' Coupon for the dessert and the cheesecake hit the spot. Service was good but could have been a bit more attentive considering it was a late lunch and the restaurant was not busy. Overall, a great value and tasty choice for dining.

Romantically lit, intimate atmosphere. Our waiter, Ryan, was genuinely friendly and knew the menu very well. He reccomended a great local beer! The salads are huge and delicious! Main courses were savory and delicious!

We always have a good experience at Ken and Sue's. From the servers, to the breadsticks, to the appetizers, entrees and cocktails, it's first rate!

Ken & Sue's is our favorite Durango fine restaurant. For lunches, wonderful outdoor seating in the summer. For dinners, a wonderful menu and selection. We have enjoyed anniversaries, dinners with friends, taking out-of-town guests for a fine dinner...Ken & Sue's is our go to place.

This is one of my favorite Durango restaurants. You can't beat the quality and value of the food and drinks. I love the Locals' coupons. What a treat for community members. My salmon was cooked perfectly. It seemed to melt in my mouth. The lemon butter sauce was delicious and the perfect amount for each bite. The cheesecake is rich but not overly sweet. Great dessert to share. Best martinis in town! Service was very good but not outstanding because of things like spilling my drink, not refreshing waters, and not checking the bill for accuracy, etc. The server was friendly and apologetic for the mistakes. Overall another wonderful visit to Ken and Sue's. I strongly recommend for any occasion. We will be back!

Great place for everyday decent dining . Friendly prompt service. Good drinks . Two of our entree's were spot on . Friday prime rib & halibut . Entree 3 the gnocchi was awful. Don't order it. Note to Ken
& Sur : if you can't do this, take it off the menu NOW ! Everything else was great . Had a good time. You will to. Be sure to make a reservation.

We have frequented this restaurant for 15 years. For the most part we have received good food and service, although service has been a variable. On this particular occassion it took us 25 mins. to get our appitzer. The waitress apologized, and said it was on the house. She said our main course would be up shortly. It wasn’t. After another 25 mins. I had to go to the bar and ask about it. Again the waitress apologized and comped the entire meal. My fish special came cold, my wife’s was hot.

Obviously, it was an off day somewhere in the chain. That said, we will return as they made it right without us requesting it.

I never visit Durango without eating at Ken & Sue's. The food is very good and an excellent value. Entrees range from the mid-teens to mid-twenties with most in the $16-$20 range. Entrees range from comfort food like meatloaf and steaks to several seafood and pasta offerings. I have never had anything there I don't like. And the drinks are excellent too. They are known for their creative martinis. Finally, the service is professional and attentive and timely without being obtrusive. Good service can be hard to find in the mountains and western slope of Colorado, so this is a big plus. Note that Ken & Sue's is a compact room, so the noise level can be higher than average but not to level that you cannot enjoy conversation. Fun vibe.

Love eating here. Had pork medallions. Was unusually disappointed. Very under cooked, sent back for more grill time, came back still (in my opinion) under cooked. Was taken off the bill. Wife's filet great. Staff very accommodating and gracious. Service top notch. Reservations highly recommended. Lunch menu excellent value. Suggest eating on patio (heated for cooler times). Enjoy. We always do. 😎

Worst service we have ever had at this place. Literally had to get up and ask hostess for another server because our current one ignored us from the git-go. Too bad because we usually love this place and now we are left a bad taste in our mouths. Won't return anytime soon.

It has become a tradition for us to meet friends/family at the Durango airport and then go to Ken and Sue's for a meal. We always have a reservation so we get seated quickly. The ambiance and quiet atmosphere make for easy conversations to catch up with each other. Service is always wonderful and the food matches the service. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at this fine restaurant. A real treasure in Durango.

Ken & Sue's never fails to deliver ! A great lunch in a lovely atmosphere. The menu has a broad enough selection and there is always a special. Wonderful fish, and great salads. Would go for lunch or for dinner, especially when the weather allows sitting out on the back patio!

We made reservations and when we arrived a few minutes early they were ready for us and seated us immediately. We both had the Tuesday Special, Seared Sea Scallops and the meal was incredible. One of us enjoyed a special house cocktail and it was incredible. Reasonably priced wines as well.

Our all-time favorite restaurant in the 4 Corners area. Great food & value. When we have company from out of town, we almost always make the drive from Cortez. Three of us had excellent meals, but my husband who gets the same thing almost every time had a very disappointing meal. Tuna was dry & overdone, slaw not the same as usual, and salad not great. Disappointing as we only go for special occasions, but we'll be back.

The meal in general was good, but the sweet potato gnocchi was really bad. Sauce and chicken were wonderful, but the gnocchi was rubbery and tough. It was a real dissapointment... I was excited to have the meal and that killed it for me. Will go back but won't order that meal again.

The menu though not extensive had great variety. Both of our entres were excellent in flavor and cooked well. The sauces were delicious. The portions were medium in size.
The waiter was excellent, the service was properly timed with short waits for all plates and the bill. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and compared to other fine restraunts in Durango this was neither pretentious or unreasonably expensive.
