We sat on the patio and couldn't have been more delighted. Jessica was our server and she was delightful and did a great job. I had the scallops which were heavenly.

Our experience did not match the OpenTable reviews. While service was friendly and courteous (Gabriel), the food was, at best, fair. I had fish; it was a solid "B". My wife had the gnocchi and it was not good. With little flavor, the gnocchi was simply lumps of tasteless, chewy dough. And, the portions are HUGE. Order carefully as to not order too much food.

We are locals, along with many other locals, who consider Ken&Sues the best in town. This is where I bring visiting family and friends and my first recommendation to anyone else.

Always a hit foodwise. Always request patio seating as it is more private and intimate. Featured dessert is their Creme Brulee which is enough to share. Never disappointing.

We look forward to dining at Ken and Sue's each time we visit Durango. Always a fantastic meal, and to die for desserts also. Great martinis too. Do dine on the patio if weather allows.

My husband and I went while visiting Durango for our honeymoon. We had planned on doing one "romantic and fancy" dinner while there. The atmosphere was wonderful and romantic, our waitress was fantastic and the food absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Had a delightful anniversary dinner. Never thought I would consider meatloaf for a special occasion dinner; I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Don't pass up the cream broullet. It's as good as any we've had. If we lived in Durango we would eat here often.

While this establishment is very popular and a hard reservation to get, I think it may be a victim of it's own success.
Very busy and noisy. Service was excruciatingly slow. Server spilled much of the martini while bringing it to the table. The meat loaf sounded interesting but was very dense and heavy and the wine sauce was not balanced.
Interior was very warm also.
I want to rate it higher, but this trip was not up to past visits.

We had visited Ken & Sue's 10 years ago for our rehearsal dinner, and I was less than impressed. We returned this weekend after 10 years and very much enjoyed our meal and time at Ken & Sue's. We would recommend it again and will be returning.

Thank you.

It was a great dinner with good service. My wife and I made reservations for our anniversary and stated this in the open table app. There was no mention of our special occasion from the server or hostess who sat us. Other than that the experience was great and the food was awesome.

We really like dining at Ken and Sue's, we look forward to the experience everytime we vacation in Durango. The food is great, the atmosphere is fun and exciting. I do not want to get anyone trouble, but possibly the management can use this review for training purposes. Our waiter, Eddie was terrible, we were neglected. He never refilled our drinks, never offered any dessert, never checked on us after our meal arrived. We do not know why we were treated this way. We left a small tip, just because it was customary. I hope Management can train this waiter and educate him to be more attentive to his job. We will not let this one experience ruin our fondness of dining at Ken and Sue's

Food, as always, was great. We both had the Wednesday night special (Salmon) and it was fantastic. The deep fried spinach that accompanied the fish was really very good - very unique preparation.

All in all the experience was great. Except - the meal came before the salad :( The place was busy and the waiter just plain forgot. No harm, no foul.

Overall we enjoyed Ken & Sue's, although there were a couple of oddities. We started with the Scallops - I don't remember them being advertised as breaded and fried, but that is how they came. They were also on a dish with a heaping pile of potato chips and what seemed like an aioli. It was a bit confusing. We de-breaded the scallops and they were cooked really well and were definitely tasty! For dinner, my fiance ordered the special - a filet mignon with lobster smashed potatoes - which was delicious. I ordered the Tuna Steak Sandwich and when our orders came, it was their Tuna Steak entree. Our server came over after about 5 minutes (she was running food for other tables) and realized immediately that the kitchen had produced the wrong dish. She apologized and took the food back. About 5 minutes later, the Tuna Steak Sandwich came out...with the same piece of Tuna Steak. It was cold. This was pretty disappointing, but I was starving at this point so I didn't want to wait for another plate to be made. Overall the dish was tasty, it's just unfortunate that the kitchen reused the same tuna steak. We also had cocktails before our appetizer/entrees - and they were filled to the brim. The bartender definitely didn't skimp there - so much so that our server at to walk in slow motion to make sure she didn't spill the drinks everywhere. Again, overall our experience wasn't bad, just a few details that really put a damper on the evening. Luckily our cocktails were strong, so we ended up in a jolly mood overall!

Ken and Sue's is consistently great. The scallops we had Tuesday, however, were exceptionally good. We're still talking about it. We love this place!

The Tuesday night special of scallops and smashed potatoes is what drew us to Ken and Sue's. The meal did not let us down. The scallops were tender and the potatoes were tasty. To top it off, the sauce was incredible. You didn't want to leave any leftovers. We ordered the creme brulee for dessert, it was simply amazing!! The food was delicious. Only one disappointment and that was the potstickers. Maybe it was an off night. They came highly recommended but the filling was very minimal. You tasted more dough than anything. If there had been more filling, they would have been a good choice because what we could taste, was good. All the staff we came into contact with was very personable and the service was good. We would highly recommend making reservations as it filled up fast even for a Tuesday night. If we are back in Durango, this will definitely be a place we would visit again.

Wow! The food was out of this world! Couldn't make our minds up for starters they all sounded amazing! The chicken potstickers were the best I have ever had! The New York strip was cooked to perfection and my wife's filet was very tender! Our server, Tory, was a great guy, server, and all around gentlemen! We will be back!

Ken & Sue's is always a no brainer when it comes to fine dining in Durango. The ambiance, the food, and of the service is always excellent. It was my wifes and my anniversary and Edgar made it so special and relaxing. Can't say enough about the food and service and we can't recommend it more times than we should. A must in Durango!!!!

Although we ran late, we advised the restaurant which held the table. The food was very good. Everyone was happy with their food. The salads were excellent. The server tried to be pleasant but was very scatter brained. He forgot ordered items, served us with other tables' foods, forgot our water etc.

Loved our dinner-one suggestion- my husband who has a dairy and egg allergy ordered the pork. It came with mashed sweet potatoes but they weren't included because of the butter that was already added. That's fine and we appreciate not being exposed but a substitute should be offered. After asking, we did get rice. Thank you.
