Food and drinks were amazing , great service
always our "go to" place when visiting Durango. Great food and friendly service.
Good good, friendly service, limited menu at lunch, good lunch spot but prefer the dinner menu myself.
Ken and Sue's makes a wonderful oasis for these crazy times. Great ambience, great service and great food outside.
They were extremely thorough in their cleaning practices which was much appreciated!
The food was okay. Our server was not very good. Our app dishes weren’t cleared when the entrees came, and the entree dishes sat there till we paid. The restaurant wasn’t very busy for those sorts of blatant mistakes.
Still the best patio experience in town for daytime munching.
Always a good meal. They are doing a great job spacing out the tables. Each table had its own bottle of hand sanitizer too! Very appreciative. I just wish they would bring back the Lobster Quesadilla😂
We were sorry not to see the “precovid” menu. We came in for your great burgers, but sadly the waitress informed us that beef was too expensive for the restaurant to buy.... yet meatloaf was offered!
My tuna steak was a bad choice, fries were good.
service was great.
Tried Ken and Sue’s again after a couple years hiatus. Pleasantly surprised. Very reasonable pricing for food and wine. Starters were very tasty. Had shrimp tempura fried just right and date had Caesar salad that was fresh and delicious.
Entree for me was stir fry shrimp and rice bowl. Heavy on the rice but very well seasoned and nice assortment of veggies. Would have preferred more veg and less rice. Date had ahi tuna entree cooked perfectly with tasty accompaniment.
Had dessert as well. Crème brûlée very creamy and generous portion. Date had white chocolate cheesecake which was decent.
Nice evening with very reasonable bottle of Chardonnay. We will return!
Our favorite Durango restaurant. Food quality is excellent, but the prices seem to be getting significantly higher, hence the 3 star rating for Value.
Tina was cooked to perfection, as was the steak and the Martinis are excellent!
Their outside seating was so quaint and well done. Food was creative and delicious. Our waiter, Malachi, was very attentive and knowledgeable. Such a wonderful evening!
Everything from service, to food was outstanding! I had their special of scallops and my husband had the filet mignon. I'm originally from the west coast and these were the best scallops I've ever had. The martini's were to die for! Thank you!
Really enjoyed our dining experience. Service was excellent.
We’re on vacation and stopped for a lovely afternoon lunch
Great food & service.
Great service & awesome food!
Felt very safe there too!
We ate outside and felt completely safe and comfortable. Food and service was excellent as usually. By far our favorite place to eat.
Had a great lunch. Can’t wait to try again. All positive for us .
Loved it as usual miss the bread though!! But as always we enjoyed our time here. Brought friend from Denver and they loved it also.
Nice lunch spot with some good choices. Local recommended and it had a nice interior and patio dining areas. Great service and nice Colorado wine list.
Our family absolutely enjoyed dining here. We highly recommend.
Everything was really, really great except dessert. The apple tart didn’t have apples and the “Creme Brûlée” was more of a pudding. We’ll definitely enjoy the amazing patio again though!
The food continues to be excellent on every visit to Ken and Sue's. Our experience was further enhanced by the quick, friendly and efficient service from Ally. She made our experience more enjoyable and is an asset to Ken and Sue's. Ken and Sue's should be on your list of restaurants to visit in Durango.
The food and service were great, especially the apple fritter dessert!! We loved being able to eat outside!!
Our favorite restaurant never fails to provide a great experience
One of my favorite in Durango for years. Great staff, great atmosphere and great food. I must stop while in Durango.
Great dinner food for us. Service was fine considering the covid restrictions. Grouper and filet followed by creme brûlée. Always a nice surprise when your expectations are surpassed.
Good dinner date. Service was good as always, but the food was not as good as it has been in the past. Overall it was very nice for just opening their doors.
Disappointing bland , unimaginative food. My pistachio-coated fish needed more seasoning. Sautéed spinach nothing special. The meatloaf was pretty good with the same spinach. The Caesar's salad to start was good. Would have been nice to have some bread with the salad. Maybe no bread and butter is a money saving trend these days. The potstickers to quote my husband" awful"--gloppy, not enough filling. To their credit they took the pot stickers off our bill.
Service was good. We sat on the patio out back and it was quite pleasant.
We wouldn't go back given the opportunity--we were visiting from out of town.
Consistently good time after time. Great service. The ahi is wonderful!
Wonderful meal for our anniversary. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. Despite the COVID restrictions with masks and such we had a great time celebrating. We try to eat at Ken & Sue's anytime we are in the Durango area. Being from the Dallas area where there are so many choices for dining, this restaurant is very much right up there with urban locations.
Everything was amazing. The Coconut Lemon Drop Martini was absolutely delicious! Loved my Pistachio Crusted Grouper. 4 of us shared the White Chocolate Cheesecake and the Creme Brûlée, both of which disappeared quickly. Service was outstanding! They even took a photo and presented it to us in a photo folder to commemorate the special occasion.
It is always a joy and pleasure to go to Ken and Sue's. The food is fantastic and the service exceptional. The outdoor patio is especially nice this time of year. Always a treat to go!!!!
Enjoyed cup of soup with lunch entree of seared tuna sandwich and mixed greens. All prepared well. No bread service and limited menu at this time but still much better than most restaurants offerings these days.
Wonderful meal and cocktails and equally wonderful service!
I have been to Ken and Sues many times and had have overall good experiences, This was not one. There were two of us. We shared e a calamari appetizer and spinach salad. Both were very slow to come out. The calamari came first as requested and was soggy. After reminding the server of the salad, it took another 10-15 minutes to get the salad which was just average. Ordered a dessert and was about to cancel because of long wait but it finally came. The server did comp some of the meal because of long delays but it shouldn’t have been necessary. I will go back in hopes of better service but if it’s a repeat experience then will look to take my dollars elsewhere in Durango.
We had a waiter that didn't know our table belonged to him. Then he ran our credit card thru twice. He seemed either new or distracted. The food was very good and that is why we went.
The salmon sandwiches were wonderful. The meatloaf sandwich was very good and the Mahi Mahi sandwich was excellent. Our waitress was prompt and very attentive. We love the atmosphere of Ken & Sue's.
