This was our second time while traveling through Durango and Ken and Sue’s did not disappoint. Steaks are so good and reasonably priced. Had a delicious shrimp pasta. Please don’t miss the sublime Creme brûlée!!!!
We get the tables in the front every time and it’s super squashed and uncomfortable and it ruins the experience. I wish they would just put booths or something in the front window area instead of trying to always squish people in. With how bad our seating has been I probably won’t put this at the top of my list. It’s happened to us everytime we go or I wouldn’t have complained.
Ken&Sue's is one of our favorites in Durango. The waitstaff is the best...prompt, good service, friendly, and attentive without being constantly present. The food is excellent. I have never ordered anything I did not thoroughly enjoy. The restaurant is clean, nice atmosphere, great patio that is enjoyable, regardless of season, when it is open. Dining there for lunch this time, we enjoyed the crispy shrimp wrap and the SW cobb salad; both were very good. My friend and I split a banana foster dessert, which was delicious!
We've been going to Ken & Sue's for the last 5 years. Two group business dinners and several birthday and anniversaries. Never had a bad meal or experience. Food and staff is always great!
We had excellent service and the price for a good meal is the best in town. I will forever be disappointed in the change of the halibut meal by putting on the cilantro. Regardless, the food was good and we had a nice time.
Excellent dining experience, food was excellent and we had a very pleasant waiter, who provided great service.
Ken & Sue’s has long been our favorite restaurant in Durango. K&S is where we take our family and visitors. The steaks and salmon are favorites. This night was the Saturday Night Special, a hefty filet.
Excellent food, service and ambiance. Specialty "tinis" are fabulous.
I loved the menu--so exotic! It was fun to order something completely outside the box. I'd go back in a heartbeat!
Excellent. Good service. Very professional. Nice evening.Heather Our waitress is a nurse in training raising three children and was excellent. Had a nice meal and a good time. Would return
Excellent service and food. We are from Whistler, B.C. and we can compare this restaurant to the Rim Rock Cafe in Whistler. We love Durango as well!
We had reservations and were seated promptly - Aunt Lydia's meatloaf was really good. Good draft beer and full bar. Would definitely return and the waitstaff were terrific.
Overall nice restaurant with better than average food. Maybe better than that. High point was the waitress, Molly. You don't find them any better. She is a gem.
Anniversary- loved the card they made for us!
Incredible service, amazing food at great prices. Best experience we’ve had at a restaurant in a while, and we have had plenty of nice ones.
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the food at Ken & Sue's. I had the cilantro halibut and it was exceptional. My wife had the skirt and it was tender and moist. We were very happy with the entire experience and will definately go back. Highly recommend!
My sirloin special was good.
My wife had rigatoni with shrimps. The pasta was overcooked. The sauce had little to no taste.
Atmosphere was good. Service was good also. But we would not dine there again.
Ken & Sue's was recommended to us by a local, and they didn't disappoint. Each one of our plates was plentiful, well prepared, and delicious. The quality of the meal was excellent, and the price very affordable for what was delivered. The cocktails were premium and were priced as such, but again, for the quality and quantity, it was worth the little extra you'd pay over common drinks. The restaurant was very nice, but not pretentious. You could easily fit in with shorts and flip flops, or slacks and a polo. Above all else, the service was top notch: our server was very attentive and made us feel at home. Apparently, the restaurant has been serving for 22 years, and it's easy to see why. This will definitely be one of our spots whenever we're back in town!
We did not stay Friday night is there prime rib and when we checked in they did not tell us they were out of prime rib
We order our drinks and appetizers then informed us
Great as always. When Richard and I used to own The Lightner Creek Inn, we used to recommend Ken and Sue's all the time and people have always raved about it even when it was further down on Main. Glad to see many of the same recipes and old stand-by however I didn't see the Cedar Planked Salmon on the menu yesterday which is one of my favs.
Food is always great. Our waiter, Gaberial, was new and let us know. He was so personable and humble. Ken and Sue’s food is always consistent and reasonably priced. It is no wonder I have been a part of their family for 20 years. It is truly a local’s favorite. I love this place.
The patio is always our favorite place to go! So unique and special!
Great food, nice ambiance, good service by Gabriel
We absolutely love Ken and Sues! Food was fabulous and the service was amazing!
The food and atmosphere made our special occasion a memorable one.
We live in Denver and every time we visit Durango, this is a must stop for us.
This was our 3rd time dining at Ken & Sue's... We LOVE the food & atmosphere.
Always a treat.
This is our favorite restaurant in Durango. Best food for your money. Have never had a bad meal here.
Went on a date with my wife for her 30th birthday. Food was great as always and the staff was very friendly and had just the right amount of service.
My favorite in Durango. Great food at a great price, and lots of locals appreciation specials. Thanks so much for another great dining experience. See you again soon.
The food was as excellent as ever, the wine was fabulous, and the service that Molly gave us was outstanding! Already looking forward to our next visit.
Best place in the Four Corners for a special occasion!
Good cocktail menu. Nice dinner menu...everything was excellent,
Consistently excellent. Excellent food, prompt courteous service, and the best cocktails in town. A great experience at a very reasonable price.
The waitress and waiter staff are excellent. The food is of high value for the money. The booths create a cozy and quiet atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
Dinner was good. We had lollipop wings that were good but very heavily sauced. Both of us had entree salads that were good. A very uncomplicated meal, but had to wait a long time for our food. Folks who sat next to us that were seated much later than we were got their 4 large entrees at same time that we finally got our salads. Our waiter was great and was apologetic as we waited - think the problem was in the kitchen. Overall good but not great.
Visiting our son in Durango; he and his roommate recommended Ken & Sue's. Warm and inviting place. My vodka martini was yummy, so was the main meal. Our waiter explained the menu well. Service was excellent. Loved the main dishes (tasted them all)...but the apple tart was only so-so.
Yet another entry into the excellent dining choices in Durango, however Ken and Sue’s is the head of the class. Great food, excellent service, very nice wine list and cocktails, and the prices CANNOT be beat.
Located on the main avenue of Durango, this restaurant provided us with a very good meal at a very good price.
The atmosphere is induces a fine dining experience and combined with the excellent service made for a very enjoyable evening.
When, once again our travels bring us to Durango, Ken & Sue's would be among our first choices for dinner.
Ken and Sue’s is always mazing as usual. The value is the best in town and the service provided by Lacey is the always on point!
As always, great meal and delightful place to spend time with friends
