Keg & Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
Our dinner started off well with the cheese and meat board. Dinner came and the food was pretty good. Everything went down hill when my daughter accidentally spilled her water. As we are cleaning it up our waiters Gabriella came over and did not offer to help, but instead asked if we needed anything else. She asked if we wanted more drinks. At that time I looked at her and said I can use more napkins so I clean up our table. She came back with 2 more napkins. Never offered to clean the spilled water, did not take the wet napkins off the table, just kept walking by us staring at us.
It was the absolute worse experience I have ever had. She was useless. I will never step foot in this restaurant again because of the service. It's unfortunate since dinner was good.
We were disappointed in the brunch we had here. Food was very underwhelming. Service was very slow(I guess it didn't help that when we left we saw our server out the back kitchen door smoking... I guess that's where she was). We brought in a small (6")cake for a special celebration and had them bring it out, in turn they charged $25.00 to do this. A little much for just a simple task. Probably will not be going back any time soon. Unfortunate, because we have had great meals here in the past.
This was a great place! If you want to be in a bit more of a quiet location, ask to be seating in the glass doors area next to the fireplace, otherwise it is pretty loud, but also fun and vibrant. The decor is great. Our waiter was excellent. To note, about half way through dinner, all of the kegs stopped working on a Saturday night, but the waiter was very nice and very apologetic and made other suggestions. Our only note would have been to offer a free beer to our table (3 out of 4 drinking craft beers that were no longer available after having 2 beers). There was only one available, so that was the only option. That being said, We will definitely return. I had the meatloaf that was excellent. The appetizer size for the salmon is a sharing table size, too big for 1 person.
OK. Probably my 4th time here. Love the food, atmosphere, drinks but. . . .NOT ON A FRIDAY NIGHT!!! Went with three friends I hadn't seen for a while and we had to scream at each other. We couldn't hear the waitress at all. Worth noting the average age was significantly younger than us so it may be your thing but I definitely will not be going back on a weekend night.
What a great experience for our first visit. My girlfriend and I made reservations and arrived at 7PM. We had our choice of seating at that time, we selected a booth for intimacy and the restaurant was about 25% full. Over time, if filled to about 50% full. The decor is interesting, old reso-mod with great use of old wood and cool old-school Edison bulbs throughout. We had an awesome server named Katie who raised the great food and great drinks to a whole other level. Her service was very high-end feeling. She was attentive, informative and willing to make our experience the best. I'm a sucker for great service and so is my girlfriend; we will return but we want Katie..! We selected one drink that we did not like and Katie suggested a different one, whisked away the old one and brought a wonderful replacement. We shared the fried asparagus appetizer, a meat ball flat bread pizza and a bowel of tomato bisque. All were AWESOME..! I then had the fish tacos and she had the shrimp dish. Excellent...! Yes we ate a lot. We were hungry and we took our time. My girlfriend has a saying. It was a CML experience for her. Changed My Life. :O)
Food was good. The white flatbread that we started out with was exceptional. Then opted for the meatloaf as my entree, which was good, but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere and noise level is very energetic, which isn't my thing personally. But I recognize some may like it.
We had a nice dinner, waited for a regular table, did not want the tall multi-guest tables, not suitable for a intimate birthday dinner for a party of two. Food was good but soup not hot enough and same feeling for the chicken pot pie. Our other entrée was much the same in terms of not quite warm enough. The main room is loud and the side room is less noisy and the fire place is nice. Employees are friendly and helpful. This was the second time for one of us, and it was that experience that brought us here for the birthday dinner. Just was a little off. We will go back but they need to step up their game.
My boyfriend and I came here for a late dinner on NYE and made a reservation through Open Table(super convenient) ahead of time since it was the holiday. We arrived early and they were ready to seat us, which was great! We had been here twice before, once for dinner and once for brunch (which was also amazing!). I couldn't believe how different the menu was from just a few months ago, in a good way! A LOT more options and just amazing choices, really up my alley! When we asked about the change, they said they had just done a full overhaul of the menu. It was hard to decide, so we ordered a lot! We had the fried Asparagus and turkey wings for appetizers, crazy good! I got the Korean Beef tacos, which were actually from the old menu and brought back by popular demand. My boyfriend got the steak and side of mac n cheese, which he couldn't stop raving about. Their craft beer choice is always solid, which we like because we are beer drinkers. But since it was a special occasion I actually changed it up and went for the Red Sangria and couldn't have been happier with my choice. Delicious! Our server, Waylon (I believe that was it), was great and provided us with awesome recommendations. They were surprising slow for it being NYE, then again I haven't been out for NYE in a million years so maybe that's just how it rolls these days. Plus it was 10pm dinner. The vibe is relaxed, decor is welcoming and fun. We will definitely be back again!
We made reservations for New Years Eve....what a great place! Nice decor, lots of interesting menu options , festive atmosphere. Food and drinks were excellent and service was good as well. We will return as there were many interesting dishes on the menu to try.
Food was good, service was good and prices were reasonable. Suggestion of maybe some more mixed drinks/cocktails to choose from. Beer selections were wonderful. Noise level was obnoxioius - way too loud. Have to shout to hear the person sitting directly across from you.
Amazing food and beer list. But they are either extremely understaffed with waiters/waitresses or the guy we had forgot about us for about 45 minutes. We are probably the most low-maintenance customers on the planet but we looked at empty glasses and plates from appetizers for a majority of our night. Would definitely go back for the food and beer but would probably just sit at the bar.
Awesome atmosphere and service. Great place to hang out , drink and eat with friends. Unique menu with a mix of comfort foods and bar bites. The chicken pot pie was good along with the fire roasted Brussels sprouts. Sandwiches were all creative and we had the short rib with ricotta which was enough for 2 with appetizers. We had the appetizer of fried asparagus which I highly recommend. We would return again not just for dinner but for late night drinks and snacks!
I never have a bad meal at Keg and Kitchen. There menu continues to evolve and change to the delight of taste buds everywhere. The Nashville Hot Chicken is not to be missed! Other favorite include: clam pizza, calamari, shrimp & grits.
Their beer list is out of this world - so many craft brews, so little time!
