They should not overburden one person with as many tables as they appear to be doing. Slow service will inevitably result from having one server for 9 tables at a time.
Great Brunch as always. Despite the variety of wonderful options, all got chicken and waffles. So good!
Everything was great! Love hailey!
Our server seemed to disappear many times and the place wasn't very busy.
Enjoy our night, would recommend this to friends. Our waitress was amazing!
The service here always seems to be disappointing. Late to greet you at the table, late with water and beverages.
I ordered the huevos rancheros and it was like a plate of nachos. They forget the egg and brought me a new plate. Corn tortilla chips should be the description because that was 90% of the meal. I think I’m done giving this place chances.
Huevos rancheros said they were served on tortillas, but they were on chips ... more like huevos nachos. Overall, drinks & service were excellent, food was pretty good, not outstanding.
Fantastic brunch! Keg and Kitchen is our #1 south jersey brunch spot. Great drinks, great service and I’ve tried 6 of the brunch options and every one I’ve had has been wonderful.
First time back in awhile food was good and service was great. The side room though was pretty cold.
Food & Service was good. Drinks were priced well and tasty. Only issue was we had 4 ppl with us and when the food came it didn’t all come out at the same time. Three of us got our food and then the fourth meal never came out. Server said the kitchen forgot or something. So her food came 10 mins later.
My husband and I went to Keg & Kitchen for Valentine's Day and it was lovely! Our server was very personal and friendly, and the food was DELICIOUS. We ordered the cheese plate and korean chili wings to start and everything was fresh and delicious. My husband went with the four cheese grilled sandwich and fries, and I chose the spicy chicken sandwich with homemade pickles. For dessert we went with a stout brownie and the peanut butter "tastykake" and oh my lord, they were heavenly. My only complaint is that our table was practically in the kitchen so the view wasn't that great but otherwise everything was perfect!
Great atmosphere-but Unfortunately the calamari was extremely salty and although the burgers looked great - they were average and certainly not worth $14.00.
We took a family member out for dinner and had a great time!! We went on a Sunday night so it was relatively quiet and the food was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful!
it was mediocre...there was confusion around what menu was available on a Sunday at noon. Folks at our table got the wrong food. Overall it was a convenient location for where we were going afterward, but nothing major to write home about.
I like the atmosphere at Keg and Kitchen. It was loud but it's that kind of a place. You don't go there for a quiet date. This time I wasn't that impressed with the food. The "DCB" burger apparently comes medium. They don't ask your preference when you order so if you prefer it cooked more, you better mention it. I thought the flatbread crust was tough and the fried asparagus spears were a bit greasy. That being said we were here before and enjoyed our meal so I will probably give it another try.
Lively place, simple menu, good food. Did not dissappoint. Most do not make a reservation, so suggest doing so as friday was very busy and the res got us the first table.
Sunday brunch showed signs of a Saturday night hangover.
Service for Sunday brunch was not typical of the service I've received at here during past visits. It took 25 minutes from when we placed our orders of eggs & bacon and blueberry pancakes until our food was brought out. The blueberry pancakes didn't have any blueberries... at all! They were also burnt on one side. I ordered rye toast and was served wheat. I brought the lack of blueberries to the attention of the server and she made a generous adjustment to the bill. So they sort of tried to make it right. I'll go back for beers and dinner but will try one of the many other local options for Sunday brunch next time.
The waitress was good however the kitchen did not have the food out to the table for 40 minutes. There was no excuse. We would have left but the waitress did her best to provide good service.
Perfect place to catch-up with friends in a mellow atmosphere. Great food and service!
They do it right! New menu items are great!!
Food wasn't great and service was terrible. Not very busy for a Friday night.
More dinner selections suggested.
Great place for weekend bunch.
The service & food were amazing from appetizers to dessert. Our waitress mentioned she was fairly new there but she didn't miss a beat. I wish I could remember her name, she was great!
Excellent dining experience. Except for the noise level. It was packed, so there was a lot of sometimes loud conversation. Why any restaurant needs to stream Sirius or whatever during all this is beyond me.
I really enjoyed the meal (mushroom omelette). Went for brunch with friends but got there just in time as it switches to just a bar menu at 2. $3 mimosas and bloody Mary's and the omelette came with potatoes and toast. Not great for game watching but ok - you can see a tv from anywhere. Would definitely go back!
I was disappointed. We’ve been many times in the past but this time the food wasn’t as good, it was really loud and the service was incredibly slow. Our waiter was constantly on his phone.
I've been a fan of Keg & Kitchen for years. The ever-changing beer list is a great feature along with interesting specials and a great everyday menu. There really is something for everyone. Servers are friendly, it's a nice atmosphere and the food is consistently good (I recommend the fish tacos or the flatbreads).
The Meekers never disappoint! Their creative menus, prepared beautifully, served so well, always make for an excellent dining experience!
Always great innovative food. I had the 4 Cheese Grill. It was the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever eaten. I also started with their hot n honey wings. Awesome! Downed it with a seasonal draft beer on tap. This is so much more than pub food. It is thoughtful cuisine with an emphasis on flavor and creativity.
Fantastic food, great beer, lots of vegan options! The service was awesome and we loved the atmosphere. The music choices were great too!
This was our first trip and we will definitely go back. The apps were delicious, salad was put together nicely, and the spicy Korean tacos were excellent
My family had brunch after participating in a local 5K race. My party of 7 ranged in age from 15 to 74. The wait staff was very nice, informative about the food and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The brunch cocktails were excellent.
Brunch was phenomenal. The menu is awesome and the food was absolutely delicious. And I was thrilled that the brunch drinks were only $3 with a brunch dish. The service was delightful!! I've eaten dinner here before, but it was my first time having brunch. I will 100% be back
My boyfriend and I went for a nice dinner date and were awed by the peaceful ambiance. The dim and string lights really set the mood. The patio was nicely spiced with great shade. I ordered the short rib sandwich and it was packed with tender well seasoned meat. The soda is purchased by an unknown brand and it was great.
We heard they got a new chef at Keg & Kitchen, so we went to try out the new offerings. However, we didn't see much of a difference in the menu. Food quality is good, price is a bit high for a gastro pub.
i’ve been here more times than i can remember and i’ve never been disappointed. the burger, short rib sandwich and pot pie are my faves.
This was our first trip to Keg & Kitchen and we won't be back. It was extremely loud inside and only slightly quieter outside. Service was slow. My husband got the chicken and biscuits and the chicken was very tough. I had the pork bahn mi, which was tasty, but my sangria left something to be desired. Wish it had been better, as it's a great spot.
Very nice casual atmosphere. Had the southern fried chicken which was great.
This was our third visit, but first time for brunch. Each time the food has been average, this time two people in our party ordered eggs benedict - when it came out the eggs were ice cold and had to be sent back. The sides that were ordered with two other meals came once they were finished eating - the sides were an order of biscuits and a side of scrapple neither should have taken that long. The atmosphere is great, but the wait staff is not focused. Beer is overpriced, I can go to Philly if I want to pay that. Really wanted to like this place, will not be going back anytime soon.
